Situated in the countryside outside of the vibrant city center, this new-build 3BR/2BA home -- affectionately known as Over the Rainbow -- presents a lovely escape surrounded by outdoor recreation. The immaculate interior offers all-new contemporary furnishings, a fireplace, and two smart TVs.

After fun-filled days of exploring, barbecue burgers on the grill and gather around the wood-burning firepit in the large fenced yard.

LIVING AREA

The welcoming living area serves as the social heart of the home and features a Roku TV, electric fireplace, and a sleeper sofa.

KITCHEN & DINING

A full suite of stainless steel appliances and stone countertops gleam in the pristine kitchen, also fitted with a three-person kitchen bar.

When meals are ready, the table accommodates six.

BED & BATH

This home sleeps eight guests between three bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area.

The primary suite has a king-size bed, a Roku TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has a twin-size bed with a twin-size trundle below.

The second bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination.

Offering ultimate privacy, the backyard is completely enclosed by a privacy fence.

The lively city center is approximately 20 minutes from home for shopping and dining. You can also visit Weaverville for additional attractions.

In warmer months, outdoor recreation abounds with hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, ziplining, and tubing located nearby. In winter, hit the slopes at Wolf Ridge Ski Resort (40 minutes) or Cataloochee Ski Area (1 hour).

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Great stay!

This immaculate home had everything we needed. Nice amenities, good location, and close to area attractions. Property management company made this a very easy stay. Pet friendly is a huge plus. Would definitely go back.

Nice Place To Stay

We loved that this property was pet friendly with no pet fee and a fenced in backyard. The home was furnished nicely and was ready when we arrived. The home had all of the amenities needed to make for a comfortable stay.

Great little spot

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean. Central location to downtown Asheville. We would definitely stay again. The only thing we would have like to know about was the extremely steep driveway and the side road to use instead of the driveway. Other than, that I would recommend this location.

Place was spotless. Give a 5+ stars. Would definitely rent again. Couple suggestions. 1. A hand held shower head would have been nice. 2. A portable bench in the shower to sit or put your feet up to wash them. This would not stop me from coming back. Great place and the cows were a nice touch.

Even better than expected…

We traveled to Asheville for Thanksgiving this year and couldn’t be happier with the property. As with most properties in the area, you are going to travel along winding roads for a few miles to reach your destination, but it was well worth it. The photos are extremely accurate. The house was impeccably clean. The host/management company was helpful by providing pointers on parking and the neighboring properties. The only complaint I can come up with is that there were no measuring utensils in an otherwise very well stocked kitchen, and no K-cups to go with coffee machine. That is the absolute only negative I have. I have stayed in many places in Asheville and I would most definitely stay at this property again and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Newly remodeled home but CLOSE to road

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautifully remodeled and in a great location in Asheville close to Biltmore and more. It was a challenge to find the home at night and the driveway was scary due to the steep incline. GPS tries to make you turn into a home further back. from the pictures on VRBO you cannot tell the house is so close to a road. the cow pasture in the back of the home is beautiful and we were able to see deer most mornings and evenings. The keypad was broken and it took us almost 30 min to get into the home after calling Turnkey rental office to help us get the master key.

Very nice, out in the country

It wasn't far from Asheville (about 10 miles). Very convenient once you get the hang of the roads, especially when guided by a map app. The enclosed back yard is good for pets and small children. Cows out to pasture 20 or 30 yards from the house. The house seems new. Very nice kitchen, big living room/dining room open area. Very comfortable master suite and bath. Only surprises/problems were: Steep driveway, one of the coffee makers wasn't working, trash pickup instructions were unclear (I think pickup is Monday, but wasn't sure where to put the bin).

Overall the place was great...very clean inside.

We were a little disappointed with not having the grass cut for 4 days and was not able to enjoy the firepit. Also ice and water in the fridge door did not work. The house overall was very clean.

Great place!

We had a last minute debacle with an Airbnb and this place was available and even though, it wasn’t in the ideal location we booked it anyway. The place was clean and tidy. The fenced in backyard was key for our dogs. My kids loved seeing the cows in the pasture. If you don’t mind a half hour ride to Asheville, this place is perfect and has everything you would need.

Beautiful home and location

This charming place is nestled in a quaint farm neighborhood with beautiful views, peace and quiet not too far from downtown. We enjoyed the stay. The house was clean, beautiful and well equipped.

Very nice home

We enjoyed our stay here and the property was as expected! The only inconvenience was that the water pressure is a bit low (but completely manageable and did not detract from the experience). The back stairs to the porch get very slippery when wet, so use caution.

Quiet Location

We rented this place to be near family and because it allowed pets. The house was incredibly clean, had a ton of space for kids to run around, and was very peaceful. It had everything we needed and the check in and check out process was very easy. It has beautiful scenery but is a small drive to any stores. Asheville is about 20 minutes away, not a bad drive at all.

Contemporary Mountain Escape

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Over the Rainbow. The property was exactly as described, the only (small) issue was that the next door neighbors are very close and they don't have curtains. We weren't there enough to really care but if you are planning on hunkering down, then you may need to be aware. The house was immaculately clean and had nice amenities. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything one can think of and the washer/dryer was a nice touch. My recommendation would be to 1) ensure there were more towels - we had to wash towels twice in our 4 day stay and 2) ensure there is more than roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We had a small issue with the Keurig when we were there and we were absolutely delighted that it was replaced same day. It was a lifesaver for four tired mamas. Thank you!Overall, it was a fantastic stay. It was a perfect spot for a girls getaway, it was a close drive to Biltmore, downtown Asheville and close enough (but not too close, thankfully) to the outlets. We had a blast and will definitely seek out this place again.

Weekend away for wedding.

The location was perfect for our quick weekend away. The house was exactly as advertised. And the farm and cows out the back door made for cute country living. Only two small complaints...we were in town for a wedding and the ironing board was not full size, it made it very difficult to prepare for the day--so maybe add a full size board and there was some dirty silverware in the drawers but nothing we couldn't take care of. Everything else was great.

Great getaway!

We were looking for a nice, clean place out of the hustle and bustle of Asheville. The house fit what we were looking for. The area was quiet and peaceful and the house was very clean. The kitchen was stocked enough that we enjoyed grilling and dining in one night. We had no need to contact the owner since everything went so well. Great time!

Broken King Bed

On the second Saturday the King size bed broke in the middle of the night. The next day someone was sent out to fix and acknowledged the bed was broken and need to be replaced but attempted to fix it. It lasted one night and broke again. We then had to sleep in separate beds the remainder of our stay. We picked the property for many reasons and a king bed was on of them. During our 13 day stay 5 of those nights we slept in separate beds. I have reached out several times for some kinda compensation for our troubles but so far nothing. The kitchen has no knife other than a set of steak knives. Which makes preparing food almost impossible. Other than that it’s a nice house in a relaxing setting.

Girls weekend

We had a girls weekend with my two daughter and daughter in law. Also my two grandkids both age 5. We had plenty of room. Everything was clean and neat. We cooked dinner at the house and had plenty of space at the table. Would love to rent again soon

Gorgeous Stay w/ view of a Farm

Loved our stay here. Location was just outside of Ashville, NC. Cute little neighborhood with a farm in the backyard. Yes, we even saw a cow! The place was adorable and super clean. 10/10 recommend.
