The unit is decorated very well. However there were a few issues. BeThere is a window above the sink without any curtains. There is a two story home super close to this property. I called the company and was told that the previous guest didnât have an issue. I was told this so many times until I had to ask her to please stop saying that to me. Nevertheless the someone did come and cover the window. We then realized there were several bugs flying around in the bedroom. Some bugs were dead and some were still flying around. I contacted the company again and without any apologies, the company representative immediately said she wished I had told her about the bugs before the matience guy came to cover the window. Clearly I didnât see them then. There was A LOT of back and forth. It definitely felt as though the rental company thought I was not telling the truth. Which was really weird. The representative even went so far as to ask me to go buy bug spray and she would reimburse me! I was so annoyed!! Pest control was not on my list of things to do in Savannah. I had to inform her that bug spray doesnât work on dead bugs. Finally she stopped responding in the app. We slept on the couch that night. The next day pest control showed up and told us that the bugs were termites! After I asked for a refund, I was given a partial refund. The window over the door is not covered and you can see the bed if youâre outside walking upstairs.
