Welcome to the beautiful Misty View!

Misty View cabin is located in Townsend on a large property (about 5 acres) with gorgeous views of the mountains.

Great news! The pool at Honeysuckle Meadows is opening a whole month earlier than usual this year, April 26th! Book a stay and make sure you get to enjoy a pool with the view of the Smokies all around.

The cabin has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms, which has a king bed, is located on the main floor with an en suite bathroom. The second bathroom is also on the main floor close to the stairs going downstairs.

On the main floor, there is a large kitchen,, with a breakfast nook and an island, a dining room and a living room with a wood burning fireplace. Access to the deck from either the living area or dining area.

Upper level has 3 bedrooms (2 king beds, one queen) and 2 bathrooms (one with tub/shower combination and one with walk in shower). The master bedroom has three large windows with wonderful views of the mountains. Since we know some of our guests are working from home now, we have added a desk in the large master bedroom.

Lower level includes a bunk bed room (4 twins) and 2 game rooms (Foosball table, arcade game, pool table and shuffleboard) with outdoor access to the hot tub. climbing wall, basket ball, seating and fire pit. The cabin also shares volley ball net and playground with other cabin on the property (sleeps 6 - about 300 ft away from this one).

Great Place

Myself and 2 co-workers spent just 3 nights here while doing some training for the national park. The house was great with tons of space and beautiful accommodations and great surrounding scenery. Nice hot tub and fun stuff inside. We will hopefully be coming back here on a regular basis.

5 families together!

We had a total of 13 people stay in the house and we were not crowded at all! The property was absolutely perfect for us while we were in town for a wedding!!! Would love to stay here again and take in the Mountain Views!

Family wedding

Perfect Long Weekend

Communication with the owner was great. The property accommodated our extended family very well. Everyone was comfortable and the amenities made it really nice to hang out together. It made this special weekend very memorable.

Costa family retreat

The cabin was very comfortable, the children loved the game room and lower deck. We had some problems with the refrigerator when we first got there, but our host had it repaired in a day. The location was perfect, so many things to do in the area. The wildlife passing thru the yard was beautiful. Would stay there again.

Great location for exploring the Smokies!

Our family had a great week here! Enjoyed the property with our dogs. Plenty of space for 10 of us plus 2 dogs. Helene and Chris quickly responded to any inquiries we had. Easy access to the National Park. The hot tub was a plus after a couple of long hikes. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Misty Views

We had an amazing stay. The location was off the beaten path but also close to all the fun of Townsend, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Perfect place for families to unwind, relax, and reconnect. The side deck overlooking the mountains ended up being our home base. We sat out there for hours just enjoying the tranquil views. Helene and Chris were very responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Great cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The outdoor area was fantastic for the kids to play. We loved the basement arcade, foosball and pool table. The hot tub worked great and the fire pit is in a great location with lovely mountain views. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin is close to town and also the national park. We had no issues at all and would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation rental

Absolutely loved this house. It offers so much for children to play with. The location is perfect to get to both Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back again. The outdoor fire pit was our favorite. The view is amazing. Highly recommend

Better than expected!

The house was perfect for our family. With our 6 grandchildren from 11 years to 22 years, there was something to keep everyone entertained and connected as a family. It was a wonderful place to rest and play. 10/10 recommend this property and the owner was wonderful.!

Beautiful mountain view!

Our family stayed here for Christmas and had a great time. Helene was very responsive and even purchased a new air fryer when I asked if there was one. More than enough room for everyone, the only down side was the water pressure and I doubt there is anything they can do about it. The place was well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful views and the kids enjoyed the foosball and pool.

Perfect Place for Girls Weekend

We loved the set up of the house. Lots of games and things to do on property. Bonus points for all of the bath towels. We only had 4 beach towels for the hot tub, we were 10 ladies, so more would have been more ideal, but we used our extra bath towels, so we were left out to dry or anything. Love the privacy of the place. We will definitely be back!

Family Vaca!

This property was excellent! We had people ranging from 4-56. There was not a single complaint. The views were amazing! There was so much room. The younger kids loved the play area. We hope to be able to book again next February!

Wedding week!

I rented this cabin for the week of my wedding. We invited our families to stay with us. I was worried we wouldn't all fit in the house, but we all had our own rooms and space. My niece and nephews loved the outside space, the game room and the hot tub. We had 9 adults and 3 kids. We also loved how close everything was to the house as well. We did have a few issues with somethings not being cleaned when we arrived, but the host was amazing and fixed all our concerns. We did however, wish the fridge was a little bit bigger or have a second one- we had to use coolers for our drinks to fit the rest of the food we bought. We also kinda wished there was a bathroom downstairs in the playroom as thats where the kids stayed. They were afraid to go up and down the stairs at night. All in all, our stay was great!!

Perfect getaway with family

This trip was in the making for almost a year. The location was amazing as it was just close enough to everything but also allowed us the space to relax in comfort and privacy. The house was perfect for our needs and the kids really enjoyed all that it had to offer. Our favorite spot was the balcony where we spent most of our time enjoying each others company and talking. It was the first time we’d spent all together in a really long time! The communication with the owners was also perfect and they helped every step of the way!

Smoky Mountains Vacay

Helene was a fantastic host! She responded to every text VERY fast! She addressed anything we needed super quickly! Very easy to work with. Her house was the BEST place for our family of 15 to enjoy for a week. The Smoky Mountains are minutes away. The beds were so comfortable. The towels are so plush. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved our week here!!

Great vacation

We stayed for a week at this great home. We had 5 kids 8 and under and 6 adults. Very peaceful place. We drove into Pigeon Forge a few times. And we went into the national park a couple of times. Location really splits the difference on all locations. Helen was super helpful and very quick to respond to all we needed or asked for. Loved the game room and play area outside. This house has so much room in it. Great vacation.

Mountain getaway

This house was perfect for our stay! Plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other or alone time. Kids all loved it with plenty to keep them busy. We had so much planned out of the house that we wished we were staying longer so we could have enjoyed the property even more! Bees on the property were not a bother at all! Everything in the house was well stocked and we really enjoyed and appreciated the gift basket left for us. Owners were great at responding quickly and left plenty of useful and thoughtful recommendations for food, fun and nature! I haven't used Vrbo as much as I would like but so far this is absolutely my favorite rental! Gorgeous and affordable! Highly recommend- if you're considering this home for your vacation- do it- you will not regret it!!!

Wonderful experience!

10 of us in our family, my husband, myself, daughter & her family and our son & his family. Had plenty of bedrooms so everyone who needed their own space had it. Big TV in every bedroom plus in living & boys bunk room/game room! Huge yard, great porches, lots to do right there on the property. Property was well manicured outside and nice & clean inside. Furniture is nice, big dining table, comfortable beds, patios have plenty of sitting room. Beautiful view off the living room deck!! Kitchen is WELL STOCKED with anything you need! Love the drip coffee/Kcup combo. Nice big refrigerator & freezer. New washer & dryer. Plenty of towels! Location is perfect! Good restaurants very nearby. Little drive to PForge & Gburg. Very close to Cades Cove where we saw at least 10 bears close up! Evening drive is best for wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay!! Great great memories to take back to Ft. Worth Thank you!!!

Exceeded Expectations

I can be a tough critic, and I really enjoyed this place. We had 10 total. 6 adults and 4 kids. We all got to be together without feeling like we were on top of each other. The beds were very comfortable. I appreciated all the updates yet a good amount of character the home still possessed. We loved and utilized the deck a lot. Starting each morning with coffee gazing at the mountain landscape and ending each day at the same spot with a glass of wine. It was perfect. We were in town for a half marathon race, and I hadn’t considered coming back to Townsend until now. I’d return and stay at the same place without hesitation. Thanks so much for sharing the property with us!

The Epitome of the "Peaceful Side of the Smokies"

Look no further for an oasis at which to stay when you visit the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. This property is secluded and quiet, with gorgeous 180+ degree views of the mountains, while also being a short 5-10 minute drive to many Townsend amenities. The layout of the house is wonderful for gathering together for meals, fun, games, and cozy fires in the wood-burning fireplace (sadly, a rarity in rentals nowadays), while providing spaces for loved-ones to spread out within the house. The property also includes at-home activities with a hot tub, game tables, a kids' rock-climbing wall, a basketball hoop, a gorgeous firepit area, a playset, and even a kids' zip line. Our family had a fantastic time here. The one time we needed to contact the owner, they were professional, friendly, helpful, and extremely responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. This property is truly an oasis at which you can retreat from the world, or a homey place to return to after a day's mountain adventures.

Spring Break Sanctuary

We visited Misty View for Spring Break and it was the perfect destination for our families from VA and GA to meet! The house surpassed our expectations and with multiple rooms with King and Queen beds it was perfect for three parent sets in our party, as well as, our oldest teen who enjoyed having a room all to himself. The house was equipped with everything we needed and we spent a lot of time in the game room taking advantage the pool table, table shuffleboard, foosball and the family favorite; an arcade game that had so many of our favorite games from the 80’s! We even spent time playing Horse on the outdoor basketball hoop and yes, the homeowners even supply a basketball! Everything was in great shape and good quality! The hot tub was pristine and worked perfectly! And the grill on-site made meals so easy! But our most favorite feature of the house was hands down, the fire pit area, equipped with Adirondacks all around!! It sat out on the most perfect vista to sit and stare at the Smokey’s! Helene was very responsive to all of my questions and shared so many tips about places to eat and hike etc. She really went above and beyond! Our entire family felt very lucky to have stayed here!
