Great stay for our family

We had a great time at this house as a short trip away for the July 4th weekend. Very relaxing atmosphere with the hot tub and great view outside and all of us had fun playing pool! About 15 min drive to the downtown but not a big deal and really enjoyed the location and experience.

Fun stay

We stayed here for just a weekend, but it was a good retreat with lots of space and plenty of stuff to do. I would definitely stay again.

We noticed how clean the house was when we arrived. The open area behind the house was raked and free of debris. The house is well stocked with cooking pots/pans/utensils for cooking and eating. The outside BBQ was very clean, and even had a reserve propane bottle. The furniture was comfortable and easily accommodates six people even though we were only four. The beds were comfortable and linens were provided for showering and for using the hot tub. Parking was plentiful and the area is peaceful. The location was ideal for an event we attended at Tobin James Winery. We would definitely stay at Casa Merlot for any future visits to the Paso Robles area.

Wine weekend!

A group of long time friends came together at Casa Merlot for a wine getaway. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed and we all felt very much at home. The yard is also great and very relaxing. Loved it!

Wonderful Paso Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for us. Very nice relaxing atmosphere, very clean, and had such an easy process for booking and checking in and out. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

The house was roomy and well equipped. My only observation would be there were not enough towels or clean linens and so we used the washing machine and dryer, but the dryer didn’t dry very efficiently it took numerous cycles to get anything dry. But everything else worked and was wonderful. We loved the yard the barbecue the horseshoes. The pool table in the house was also a big head.

Great Stay

The house was very comfortable for 5 adults. The location was great for visiting Paso Robles, Hearst Castle, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach. We had a problem with the dryer and maintenance was able to fix it the same day. Great experience!

Awesome rural paso area

Firstly, nice and clean. Smelled very fresh upon entering the home. No issues on bed comfort (master), open dining/living room area. Heater went out possibly before we checked in, no ones fault. When reported, a tech was there in less than an hour. Temps were mid 30's outside. Heater couldnt be fixed, but plenty of space heaters were brought out and did the job just fine. If i had to be a picky reviewer... the pool table location diesnt work well with shots on the couch corner. But that is absolute nothing to actually complain about. Unless youre hosting a pool tournament! Awesome place, very quiet area. I would definitely stay again without question.

Weekend Getaway

The house was very nice. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed all the little extras. Kitchen is well stocked and enjoyed the coffee varieties. Would definitely rent again.

Great House For a Family Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here with our 3 adult children and 2 dogs over the Christmas holiday. The layout of the home and the amenities were perfect for us - large living/dining room to hang out in, kitchen with lots of space and plenty of cookware and dishes, completely fenced backyard for the dogs, nice hot tub. The property is very well maintained - very clean and no problems. Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara, born in Barcelona, Spain, is a writer and creative director in constant search of new concepts for children's books. Working for more than fifteen years for clients in top advertising agencies, her books combine creativity with learning, aiming to establish a new and fresh relationship between children and pop culture. We were looking for a place in the countryside so we could walk the dogs and the home is in a beautiful setting so we enjoyed our walks. It only took about 20 minutes to get to downtown and less than that for some of the wineries we visited. I would definitely rent from Paso Robles Vacation Rentals again.

Relaxing weekend

Great house with lots of amenities. The hot tub, pool table, horse shoe pits, lots of quiet outdoor seating areas, comfotable beds, large kitchen with plenty untensils and cookware. The house is about 10-15min from downtown, but we were fine with that.

Great girls weekend away

Fabulous house to gather with girlfriends for a weekend away. House is close to many wineries, but a little further from town than expected. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table, and overall the house was roomy and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. I would recommend bringing your own plastic cups for outside tho as the house didn’t have any.

Great place

The house is a great place to stay. Huge property! Hot tub was wonderful! My only reason for 4 stars on location, is that it is difficult to find the first time. The street is also very narrow and hilly, But it was worth the hunt! Property management was easily accessible, and walked us thru a small problem with the internet.

Great Place, but a little on the outskirts

Great place, but a little on the outskirts not as close to town as we thought, had a hard time getting an uber for dinner. Other than that the place was clean and beautiful and perfect for our family of 6 adults.
