The location of the property was great and provided us with easy access to Lassen Volcanic NP for two days. The kitchen was tight quarters but more than made up for it with all of the accessories available and allowed us to cook breakfast and dinner easily. It had great space for my two teens. The owners were responsive and lovely to work with.

Fantastic little hideaway with a great view

Comfortable beds, clean, quaint and unique. We enjoyed staying here. The view of Lake Almanor from the back porch was gorgeous.

Great Stay for weekend wedding

Perfect house for our family to stay for a lovely weekend wedding of our nephew! Loved the extra touch of having fireplace ready with kindling and newspaper. Beds were all very comfortable!

Great Stay

Awesome cabin that feels very cozy and homey in a lovely little town. Perfect place and house for a little get away with your partner or even the whole family. My partner and I had a lovely weekend and will certainly be back in the near future.

Great getaway!

We so enjoyed the location and views. Very private and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed. Our journey to town for supplies was very easy.

Great for exploring Lassen National Park

Great place right on the edge of Chester. Very quiet area with a nice view. Easy to get into town. The purpose of our visit was to explore Lassen, but great proximity to the lake as well. House was clean with spacious bedrooms.

Beautiful and peaceful

A beautiful location overlooking the meadow, with Lake Almanor and the mountains in the distance. Super cute house with a nicely stocked kitchen and pantry. Very homey.

Chester VRBO Stay

We were very pleased with our stay and the house was perfect for our group. Great parking for our truck and boats. Beautiful view of the pasture leading to Almanor Lake. Will definitely recommend this house to others and will look forward to returning myself.

Perfect, beautiful location and home for get-away

The property is at a beautiful location with a great view of the meadow by the lake. There's a great short trail that takes you through the meadow that we walked a couple of times. The home is very comfortable, very cleanly maintained, and has everything you need. Really appreciated nice touches like have bbq coals ready for us. Small but well-stocked kitchen.

Cozy Cabin

We stayed here while visiting Lassen Volcanic NP. The home was very clean and Patti was great at communicating with me, checking in on us via text. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was small but had everything we needed for a few meals we had there. The view behind the cabin is spectacular and I highly recommend going for a sunset stroll and checking out the historic barn near the property.

A piece of paradise!

What a beautiful, peaceful sanctuary! A friend and I needed a recharge and this was perfect! The cabin is so cute! Clean and luxurious with a view that can't be beat! Patti was such a pleasure to deal with and so responsive to our questions! We can't wait to come back!

Cozy!

We love Chester! This was our first time staying in a VRBO while visiting Chester (and visiting this late in the season). The house was so cozy with beautiful views. We had a really relaxing visit and stayed warm with the wood stove. All of the board games, kitchen supplies, BBQ, etc. were so convenient. Our hosts have an easy check in and check out process. This laid back weekend was exactly what we were hoping for.

Comfy home away from home

My husband and I had an excellent stay and enjoyed all the snow. Patti did an amazing job clearing the snow on the driveway and porch. Communication and check-in were superb. There was plenty of wood and kindling to build a fire each night. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, spices, and many extras if you are interested in cooking while you are there. Great location for visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park and going into town. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay!

A quiet, comfortable place to stay

covered sitting area off the main room downstairs has a terrific view—meadow, the lake and mountains beyond. We took advantage of the warm weather and the outside space when we weren’t out exploring the area. There’s a grocery store in town and plenty of cooking supplies (utensils, pots, pans and dishes) in the kitchen (we ate out on one of the 4 nights). We walked down to the local bike store and rented bikes for a few hours. Directions for entry were provided ahead of arrival. The hosts checked in to make sure we arrived. Instructions and information about the house and area were on the kitchen counter on arrival. There’s a TV in the main room downstairs and in each of the 3 bedrooms. One bedroom and a bath on the first floor, two bedrooms and a second bath upstairs.
