I could not have picked a better place for marrying my beautiful bride! The property was absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin was everything we had hoped for and more! As soon as we walked in we could tell the property was well taken care of and one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! The sounds of the rippling stream at the entrance made for the most pleasant of front porch sits one could imagine. Just a dream weekend and so grateful to have found this beautiful gem tucked in the mountains. Cannot wait to be back for our anniversary!!!

A comfortable and cozy piece of history on a beautiful property. Can’t wait to come back for another stay and make use of the outdoor dining barn and fireplace. We had lunch and stocked up at the nearby Terramonga farm store before checking in, don’t miss it! Tall folks, make sure to duck going in and out of the door!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for 4 nights in August and it was such a lovely and peaceful time. We slept in each day and went exploring the Asheville and surrounding areas. It's a terrific location to be able to see many of the beautiful state and national parks without being in the car for hours. The cabin was beautiful, clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed supplied.Larry (the caretaker) is kind and very responsive to questions.We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing time with good proximity to many wonderful activities.

Perfect little spot for our family getaway. Kids loved exploring the woods and sitting by the firepit all evening. So relaxing and conveniently located to great spots like the Biltmore and Chimney Rock. Owner and caretaker were very friendly and responsive to questions. Thank you for providing such a unique home.

Thank you so very much. Lissie Wright's cabin was charming and a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather. The host and caretaker were lovely and accommodating, the cabin was cozy and well appointed - overall it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you again.

Absolutely beautiful piece of property. Lots of room to play ball with my son in the yard in between fishing and hiking. Close to everything but still felt as if we had our own private slice of heaven. Thanks so much!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, historic home. It's such a sweet, peaceful spot. The home and grounds are very well maintained, preserving a snapshot of days gone by. The host was very communicative and the caretaker, Sarah, could not have been more responsive and helpful. We appreciate the opportunity to experience this unique property and look forward to another stay really soon.

The host Eric and the property manager Sarah were very attentive and extremely prompt with any responses. This little piece of Heaven was beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place for our honeymoon! Such a wonderful bit of history and we absolutely loved it!
