Cute place in Asheville

We had a wonderful time staying in the cute peacock cottage. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood with a friendly and attentive host.

Great getaway spot

Michael and Tom are great hosts. The location is very convenient to downtown and all the attractions Asheville has to offer. The accommodations were spacious and inviting.

Enjoyable weekend getaway

We enjoyed our first trip to Asheville at this cozy litttle spot. Mike was super accommodating with great recommendations. All and all it was a great weekend we would recommend the Peacock to anyone!

It was a beautiful neighborhood and very friendly hosts. Also loved how dog friendly it was and the yard for the dogs to be off leash a bit. Close enough to downtown to walk but also far enough out that you still feel in the mountains. Our hosts were kind and knowledgeable about the area and were easy to communicate with. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Spot!

This is a wonderful property within a couple of miles from most places and restaurants you’re likely to visit. The room is nicely furnished with a comfortable king bed and an updated bathroom. There’s also a porch with rocking chairs that we loved. Our host dropped by to welcome us and gladly provided restaurant recommendations. We’ll stay again when we’re back in Asheville.

Wonderful Secluded and Cozy Room!

We had a wonderful stay. The property managers were great. It was a quiet one room unit with a bathroom. I would have liked a bigger kitchenette with a hot plate or something of that nature to cook on. Other than that we loved it! Would return!

Cute place extraordinary hosts!

The peacock cottage was perfect for our stay in Asheville! Our hosts, Mike and Tom, truly are super hosts and seemed to be happily to provided anything we needed. The property was spotless and provided nice details like a welcome gift and even Tim Horton coffee. The decor is darling and the location was very convenient. We particularly appreciate them welcoming our dog and even providing thoughtful items like dog bowls and lint brushes. We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and cute!

Convenient to anything you would want to do in Asheville, but yet you have plenty of privacy. We arrived late at night, and thanks to the host’s clear directions we had no problem locating parking and checking in. The decoration and welcome gift was absolutely delightful. I love all the little touches that made us feel comfortable and at home. Would definitely book again!

Quiet getaway for senior and 2 dogs

I definitely hope to stay here again if I return to Asheville. I enjoyed the clean and quiet accommodations and convenience of a small fenced in yard for my dogs. My suggestion of adding a place to sit within the fenced area was promptly acted on with the addition of two outdoor chairs and a table (so I could enjoy the complementary wine while watching my pups). Great communication with the hostess and perfect location 12 minutes from Biltmore Estate and 2 minutes from Weaver Park.

Great location convenient to everything

Very nice room close to everything in downtown Asheville. Had everything we need for a stay with our pups including a small fenced in area for the dogs to go off leash. Nice quiet neighborhood. Owners were excellent with communication prior to and during the stay.

Great Weekend Mountain Stay!

My husband and I traveled to Asheville for the weekend with our two dogs. The house is exactly as described and in a very cute neighborhood-good for walking the dogs around as well. There’s coffee, a microwave and a mini-fridge, so just enough for a weekend stay (when we were eating out for our meals). We saw Wilco at The Yards, hiked Bearwallow Mountain in Hendersonville, had dinner at Jettie Rae’s Saturday night and ate at Taco Billy’s Sunday for lunch on the way out-all were fantastic and highly recommend! The owners checked in several times, which we so appreciated! I highly recommend this rental!

Wonderful hosts and great location!

We came to asheville for a little less than a week with our two dogs and we were easily accommodated with a private porch with parking directly outside, an attached little fenced in area perfect for our "at-home" needs with the dogs, and a perfect distance away from a park perfect for taking them on a short walk. A good sized bedroom and bathroom with an area to eat and all the space we needed to relax when we weren't out and about. Our hosts sent us a wonderful and detailed list before arrival of dog-friendly and otherwise restsurants and shops that we checked out and were very pleased! Great price for the location! Overall a great stay, would gladly book again!

What a Gem
