Designad av ikoniska arkitekten Albert Frey 1946, var denna fantastiska öken reträtt helt ombyggt 2009. Med en öppen planlösning med massor av inomhus / utomhus utrymme att njuta av Palm Springs "idyllisk livsstil, har detta vackra hem många anpassade funktioner såsom polerade betonggolv, infälld rostfritt stål listen, en staplad skiffer vägg i matsalen, ett pulver rum med en böjd kakel väggen under en räknare rostfritt stål, lampor inbyggda i väggen för en fantastisk modern minimalistisk effekt, vackra moderna mosaikplattor i hela badrum, italienska sänkor och fixturer, en ny anpassad kök med rostfria vitvaror, massor av krukor / kastruller / redskap / tillbehör, ett stort kök ö med bar sittplatser och ett matsalsbord gjord av en riktig bowlinghall lane! Vardagsrummet är ett nöjescentrum med en 52 "LCD platt-TV, inbyggd surroundljud, HD satellit, DVD-spelare, en stereo med mp3-anslutnings-och inomhus / utomhus högtalare i de allmänna utrymmena, inklusive poolen!

En helt privat bakgård kan du koppla av i saltvatten pool (ingen klor!), Spela hästskor eller basket på din privata domstol, och njut av en otrolig utsikt över bergen från flera sittgrupper. Det finns också en utomhus kök med en BBQ, brand röd granit bänkskivan, ugn och kylskåp.

Befälhavaren sviten är i sin egen vinge, öppnar mot poolen och bergen, och har en king size-säng, sittgrupp med en stor soffa, 60 "LCD-TV med surroundljud HD-satellit och en DVD-spelare, eget stereoanläggning, en klädkammare och ett eget badrum med egen tv, integrerat stereo ljud, dubbla tsunami sänkor, italienska armaturer och en duschkabin med 3 duschkablar och ett stort anpassat fönster för ljus och privatliv!

Det finns tre gäst sovrum och en gäst bad på andra sidan av huset, två av sovrummen har queen size sängar och en har en dubbelsäng. Den gäst sovrum har LCD-TV med HD-satellit och DVD-spelare.

Great location!

This property is very close to downtown in a quiet neighborhood adjacent to The Movie Colony. The house was very clean and comfortable. It has a very nice yard with a large pool and half-court basketball area on a concrete slab. We would stay there again.

Girls Trip

5 friends on annual girls trip. Property was perfect and in a great location close to most things we wanted to do. We were hoping to enjoy pool and hot tub, but weather was not cooperative. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous house

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was great, spacious and comfortable for our large family of 6. Kitchen was well equipped, comfortable beds, plenty of towels. We didn’t really use the pool and only took one dip in the hot tub cause of a busy agenda - we were in town for a wedding - but it was great to have the option. Loved the ambience and comfortably of the house and location.

A wonderful place to stay!

We spent 4 weeks at this super cool Albert Frey house (it really is super cool!), and we loved every minute. So many reasons: roomy, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, large yard, new hot tub, lovely pool, great for our pet, awesome neighborhood. The owner is very responsive. All this and then some unique & special touches too: basketball & hoop, horseshoes, walking distance to Ruth Hardy park (dog heaven, nice for their people too) *and* downtown, quiet neighborhood, lovely mountain view, large TV’s for movie nights in living room *and* master, and some mornings we were greeted by (the same) 2 ducks grazing in the front yard. The dog was so happy she didn’t even notice them! It’s truly a magical place & we can’t wait to come back!

Spacious mid-century house

We had great communication with the host and everything was in order - pool heated as we had agreed, jacuzzi worked great, plenty of towels and bedding and all of the basics. Would definitely stay again here.

The home is as advertised, better than. It was well situated, near downtown and the Aerial Tramway. The kitchen was well appointed, great backyard with pool, hot tub, and BB court. Nice quiet neighborhood. We’d love to plan a return stay.

Girlfriends Getaway

Mid Century Modern

The backyard had a nice pool and hot tub. The primary bedroom was huge, had a big screen tv and a nice bathroom. The kitchen, dining room and living room were large. We liked being close to town.

Perfect Getaway

The house had everything that we needed and was comfortable for our two families. Great layout and architecture. Tons of towels, pool toys and outdoor seating. We loved the salt water pool and star-gazing from the hot tub. We were super close to town and grocery stores. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to stay here again!

Great customer service. We we'll be recommending this to our fellow travelers.

This VRBO property has everything for a great getaway. Four seniors in town to play golf with 40 year's friends from SFO & SEA areas. Love the SPA hot tub. Master suite is so roomy. Property managers responded without delay to minor issues. Thanks for the attention to detail, your guests can expect the same. Nice experience.

great place to stay

The home was very clean and very well appointed. I was very happy with all the amenities, although I didn't get use many of them, the hot tub, fire pit and pool, they all appeared to be very clean and well maintained. This would be a great place for a large group or family. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and it was convenient to downtown. I want to thank the owner for their communication and her patience in answering the concerns of a single senior traveling alone. Highly recommend this home!

July 4th under the sun

Myself and my friends had a lovely time at this property. The house matches the pictures well. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, cocktail glasses. etc. I will definitely be using this property in the future!

Large, comfy, fun

This house was large enough to accommodate 7 of us visiting Palm Springs for my birthday and the Tour de Palm Springs bike event. Very quiet neighborhood but still a short drive (or bike ride) to everything. I went in the pool everyday, the dining table was large enough for dinners and board games, and the guys played basketball. We will definitely come back.

Perfect For Our Needs

Not terribly much to say other than had a really nice experience for our stay. Didn't need to reach out to the owner for anything. House was clean and spacious. Hot tub was nice. Bed was comfy. The masterbath shower was WONDERFUL. It was a tad cold inside the house but it was NYE afterall so to be expected. Already booked the house again with another set of friends this upcoming April.

Spacious Oasis

This home was super spacious and beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! My family, partner, and I stayed here for a little get away trip and it was perfect. The kitchen/living area is really big which helped while cooking and entertaining. They had plenty of cookware to use and it was easy to find everything. Bedrooms were a good size and the bathrooms are nice as well. The outdoor area is quite large and we loved sitting around the fire pit at night. Hot tub and pool were a huge plus as well, both were clean. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Relaxing visit

Five of us spent 9 wonderful days in this lovely house. The owner was fantastic to deal with. All communication was responded to quickly. The few issues we had while in residence were dealt with immediately. This house is the only house we have rented in Palm Springs that had more than enough pool and yard furniture. For the first time there were lounges equal to the number of people the house slept! Bravo to the owner. Kitchen was nicely stocked but the ice maker only worked sporadically. Having 2 ½ bathrooms was appreciated by the five adults. The hot tub was great as was the pool and firepit. There were three umbrellas available but there was natural shade after 1pm for our February stay. We were able to control the temperature in the house. There are plenty of towels and paper goods. Room for improvement would be the beds which everyone agreed were too soft. And finally as a group of readers we felt the lighting in the living room could be improved.

Good location, nice pool and hot tub. Couple maintenance issues

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool and hot tub were well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the stereo system when we finally got it working. The house was nice and bathrooms were clean. When we arrived there were many light bulbs burnt out inside and the lighting outside did not work. Luckily there was light bulbs in the house so we replaced them. The manager was never able to figure out the outdoor lighting before we left so there was no lights on basketball court or jacuzzi. The basketball was flat so bring your own if you want to play. Dishes and cups could have been cleaner we rewashed a number of them when we arrived. The blender was broken but we bought a new one. Overall the appliances were clean and worked well. We did have an amazing stay once we got a few things cleaned up on arrival !!! :) I would recommend the house because the pool and jacuzzi were so nice.
