Nice House But Needs Attention
Just returned from a 6 night stay at this property. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there are a few issues that need attention. Listing photos are accurate. Only a 5 minute walk to the clubhouse. However, it is located right next to the overflow parking which can get VERY noisy at night. Neighbors beside and behind us played loud music until late into the night. House was clean but it was very evident that a dog had been there prior to our arrival. The smell of wet dog was overwhelming and there was dog hair in the upstairs master bathroom. There is a BBQ at the house for extra $. Bring your own pool/beach towels -These are not provided. Plenty of garbage bags and dish soap were provided. Hot tub was enjoyable when turned on for a few hours beforehand. Pool never quite got warm.
Here is a list of minor issues that need to be addressed. These are simple and cheap fixes but for some reason have been neglected:
* Door handle on sliding glass door is broken/dangling. It's obvious this has been broken for some time
* Bedside lamp in downstairs bedroom is missing a light bulb
* Bedside lamp in one of the upstairs twin rooms didn't work at all. We ended up taking a lamp from loft and this one would only work by plugging it in - the on/off switch didn't work
* 2 TV's have a cable box but no cable remote
* There are plenty of dishes and glassware but only 3 small spoons in the flatware drawer
We will look for another place on our next visit.
