Charming & Cozy Victorian in Quiet Residential Setting

Come and enjoy a relaxing stay in our renovated 1914 Folk Victorian home located in old La Grange; near the historic downtown, the newly renovated Casino Hall, the Old Jail, the Fayette Heritage Museum & Archives, the Faison Home and Monument Hill & Kreische Brewery State Historic Sites. Our charming home is close to shopping and restaurants, and with all of the comforts of home, we think it is a gem of a retreat for a long weekend or a full week's immersion in small town Texas!

So as to be as transparent as possible, and to avoid any misunderstandings as have occurred in the past, please know that we cannot accomodate pets. There has been past damage caused by guests' pets and we wish to avoid that in future. We thank you for your understanding. JTK

Beautifully remodeled home

This property has been remodeled to perfection. They blended the new with the vintage so beautifully well. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very easy to work with.

Came for a funeral

This House was so cute and cozy and very neat and clean. Comfortable beds. The Host was extremely helpful and nice..everything was explained from checking in and out.. yes I cannot wait to return.

Great Stay

Super Clean, effortless check-in, and host did a great job communicating necessary info. The house is adorably comfy. Some of the floor boards are a little creaky/loose but it just speaks to the charming character of the house.

Beautiful, perfect hamlet

We stayed in this gorgeous and perfectly appointed home for a weekend outing. The home is in an excellent location and is beautifully restored. We came in late to lamps on and the AC running at a perfect temperature, which was such a lovely and welcoming gesture. We can’t say enough nice things about the owner or the property.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in January 2024. It was excellent in every way. Lots of room on one level, good temperature control, quiet, convenient location, well stocked, good communication with owner, interesting furnishings and reading material, etc. Highly recommend.

Girls trip

This home is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! It is spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with history and beautiful decor. If you are an antique junkie like me this is your place. I had as much fun looking at all the decor and reading about the house and its family as I did junking! I will definitely be back.
