Vårt avskilda bondgård i Mendocino County är omgivet av natur. Vi är lika långtgående (40 minuters bilresa), mellan städerna Mendocino Village och Ukiah.

En naturskön körning genom höga skogar leder dig till vår förtrollande lantgård. Vi erbjuder exklusiv privat uthyrning av ett lugnt ställe som är lämpligt för konstnärer och författare, familj och professionella grupper, motion, dans, yoga och andliga reträtt. Vårt rymliga hus har 6 sovrum inklusive en stor sovsal. Det finns också en solrum med en queen size futon, 5 bad. en lyxig säng med flera sängar och en närliggande husdjursvänlig annexsuite som har ett litet kylskåp och en mikrovågsugn. Vår sovande veranda, som sover upp till 3, är tillgänglig under de varmare månaderna.

Ät middag i vår rymliga trädgård med grönsaker och örter (säsongsbundna), eller på en av flera stora däckområden. Great home for my yoga retreat

I originally chose this property because it had a built-in yoga room, and the actual place is much better than the pics. All my guests were very happy with their rooms and food my chef provided. Hot tub and nearby creek were amazing options to cool off, check-in process with the owner was very thorough. Happy to have hosted a successful event at this location!

Great family get-together

This is a cross between the owner's home and a retreat center. There are many touches which make it feel like home and yet the huge table in the dining room, the three refrigerators, and institutionally provisioned kitchen feel more like what you might find at a summer camp. This served us (11 family, from age 16-96) well as we cooked feasts with ease. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We did not make use of the hot tub (too far from the house for easy access), used the giant rec room as a workout space, and did not come close to using all the beds avaialable. There were a few glitches (power went out briefly, audio system needed some tweaking, some of the kitchen ware needed cleaning before use) but overall we were quite pleased. And the location could not be beat.

Beautiful Home

Such a beautiful location and the home was warm and welcoming. Would recommend for big groups or small. You can't beat the beauty and isolation of the area. Would highly recommend!

Lovely Shambhala Ranch

Beautiful piece of property with great views and hikes. The ranch house is cozy and comfortable and the staff are all friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time.

Awesome place for big

Lots of space and definitely has a character. We really enjoyed our time there. It was too hot inside during afternoon though, we went beginning of Sept. But overall it is a fantastic place for big gatherings/reunions.

Magical!

Shambhala Ranch is such a special place. We had an absolutely lovely time here and the amenities were perfect. The owners were super sweet and made check-in and check-out a breeze. They were available right on the property for anything we needed. The house is huge and had lots of different areas for hanging out, so even with 20 people, there was ample space. Make sure to bring enough ice and stuff for the weekend, town is pretty far but we really appreciated the remote location, it was very peaceful and there were lots of birds and deer. The river is just a short walk away where there is a beautiful little stream with waterfalls and swimming holes. It was like a perfect little oasis. We'll definitely be back!

Great place for a family reunion

Our extended family of 20 stayed here in August, 2013, for a family reunion. Family members came from all over the country, ages 3 through 67. The drive from SF airport is reasonable, and the scenery along the way beautiful. The house was in great condition, plenty of room and enough bathrooms, so we didn't feel crowded. The spacious kitchen was well equipped, and one of our main gathering places. The deck and garden were favorite places for group dinners. We swam in the pond and explored along the creek, took walks along the fields and made day trips to the coast and the nearby redwood preserve. We had a fantastic time, and the owners were very friendly, available, and accommodating. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a peaceful and beautiful venue for a reunion, retreat, or wedding.

We have been married for many years and we share many interests such as native plants and herbs, organic gardening, green living, solar energy, and holistic massage. These pursuits are reflected in the off the grid estate we are listing, which has been our labor of love. Tara has over 20 years of extensive experience in various types of body therapies and is certified in therapeutic massage, Aroma Therapy, Shamanic Stone therapy, Rosen Method bodywork and Rosen Movement.

Our rural setting is a special place. We strive to function in harmony with the natural environment. Many native plants have been used for landscaping and natural materials have been used for buildings. We care about preserving the pristine quality of the land and the peace and tranquility of the neighborhood.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Our exclusive quiet, private and secluded location is ideal for communing with nature, bird watching, hiking, mushrooming, swimming, star gazing, and Summer berry picking. The local wildlife is astounding. We often have deer that come right onto the lawn, kingfishers, many varieties of ducks, occasional herons, egrets, cormorants and families of river otters who visit our lake-pond.

We are nearby world-famous Montgomery Woods State Park and hot springs and less than an hour from the Mendocino Coast. We are also less than an hour from lovely Anderson Valley and wine tasting.

We are completely off-the-grid so our natural setting is unmarred by power lines. Our power needs are supplied by 42 large solar panels. (We also have a backup generator just down a private access road which is very promptly employed when needed.) We have staff on hand on a separate parcel who are always just a phone call away.

We have a large Workshop Room, two fireplaces and a comfy Media Room. Our enormous kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans, utensils and other gadgets. It has a Wolf stove with two ovens and a substantial island with a butcher block top that is the envy of cooking enthusiasts. If you prefer to not do your own cooking, we have long-term relationships with some excellent local caterers to whom we can refer you. They offer organic, vegetarian, vegan, conventional cooking as well as menus geared to your specific dietary needs.

Our luxurious Master Suite has a trundle/day bed that converts into two singles in addition to the comfy king bed. We have a Dorm room that sleeps four and includes a semi-private sleeping area. Two of the upstairs bedrooms share a private deck with tables and chairs. We have a pet-friendly suite, just across the driveway, in our Annex building. There is also a sleeping porch for use during the warmer months and a Sun Room with a queen-sized futon.
