Truly enjoyed our stay. Dena the owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. Area is very quiet and relaxed, condo was clean and comfortable with enough room for 5 to 6 people. Our stay here was wonderful and would definitely stay here again. Great rental with a great renter. Thanks.

Nice place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host was quick to respond to any concerns we had and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay. The home is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable, extended stay. The only thing we had to do was go to the grocery store. The beds are fairly comfortable and it is in a quiet neighborhood. Our host was very quick about answering any questions. We would stay here again if we decide to vacation in the same area.

Hutchinson Cottage

The property was clean and it was an easy check in. Location was in perfect walking distance to the jetty. Hutchinson Island is a very peaceful piece of paradise. The neighborhood and neighbors were nice.

Great Location and plenty of room!

This was a very cute and clean home in the heart of Hutchison Island. Walking distance to beaches and restaurants. The home had everything we needed for cooking at home and chairs, umbrellas, etc for the beach! They even had 2 bicycles in the garage we could use to ride around the island. We would definitely book here again!

Great Property!

Check in was a breeze and the property was spotless upon arrival. Amenities were all you would ever hope for in a rental property, and then some. Neighborhood was quiet and in a great location, within 10 minutes from restaurants, activities, or grocery. 10/10 would stay again!

Winter escape

Wonderful stay on Hutchinson Island. Property was exactly as advertised. Very clean. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed having our dog with us. Beaches and restaurants were within a 10 min walk.

Great property

Our children and grandchildren stayed here while in Ft Pierce for our 50th anniversary celebration. It was absolutely perfect for us! Our family had a place to comfortably spend time together; the yard was a god send for the younger grands to burn of energy. Would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family who come to visit. Thank you, Dena!

Lovely House with Great Neighbors

The house was everything we expected and more. Clean, quiet and inviting. We spend every morning and evening in the screened in back porch. Nice walk to the causeway, jetty or restaurants. Neighbors were extremely friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy R&R. Just what we needed.

The house was comfortable, clean and at the end of a cul de sac. This che ked a lot of boxes for us. The grill in the garage was clean and in good working order. The home itself was clean and inviting. The owner was accessible when we had question. Amazing stay. We will return.

Nice cozy home

The house was exactly as advertised. Clean, well-decorated, and very comfortable beds. It was great to have beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs to borrow. Even a bike (although we didn’t have time to use). Easy walk to jetty to fish off of, relax on the many benches there, enjoy the great beach and restaurants. I loved coffee and yoga on the lanai in the mornings!

Very clean but needs a little attention

The house was clean and comfortable and in a great neighborhood near the inlet and beaches. It's not very big but we didn't spend much time there so that was of no concern. One big concern for us was the sliding glass door to the back patio was put in backwards - with the lock on the OUTSIDE - and thus could not be secured. There was no way to lock it. Also - the screens in the back porch were torn up and just flapping. The owner said the damage was from the hurricanes - which seems likely - but they also said they had a hard time getting them fixed which is baloney because the hurricanes were many months ago and installing new screening is not rocket science. We would, nonetheless, rent here again becuase it was clean.

I am sorry that Jon did not reach out to let me know that he had an issue with the sliding glass door lock. It is NOT put on backwards and it does lock. The screws that hold the lock in place, became loose, causing the door to not catch/latch. We tightened the screws after Jon checked out and it is in fine working condition. After the hurricane that devastated the Fort Myers area and the two that hit us, it was very difficult to find anyone to do any work of any kind for several months. Since we needed to have most of the screens repaired on the screened porch, and we were told that one one the posts was not in good shape, we decided to tear the whole thing down and have it rebuilt. It is being completely replaced on 4/25/23. It was not just a matter of the screens. I'm glad to hear that Jon was happy with his stay other than those two items. I would be happy to host Jon again in the future.

Rat, Ants, Roaches, Palmetto bugs, host slow to respond

Upon arrival there was an overwhelming urine smell which I immediately notified the host since I brought 2 dogs. Later I would be accused of them ruining all the rugs in the house even though they were kenneled at all times when my daughter and i weren’t at home. The host said the yard was fully fenced, it was not for 4 of the 6 weeks I stayed there. The microwave quit working and it was never fixed for the remainder of the stay. Not to mention the awful dealings with the rat, trail of sugar ants, roaches and palmetto bugs. Just gross. Could not wait to get out of there. Lastly it would take 4-7 days for the host to respond for the above situations. Oh and I gave her over a months notice that I would be leaving the rental 3 weeks early , plenty of time to re-list:rent it and she would only refund me one week. After it took her more than 10 days to figure out how to update the reservation.

Hosts beware. This house just started renting in late May 2022. Her two dogs were the first pets to stay in the house. Any urine smell was a result of her pets. I had to throw out and replace all the mats and and two area rugs. There was excessive pet fur and smell after she left. It required extra cleaning and supplies. It's true that there was a small area of the yard that was not fenced until she was there for a month. The contractor kept canceling and I was transparent and let the guest know before arrival. I have been a host on other platforms for several years and I have a proven history of being a very responsive host as I was in this case too. This guest was name calling, made rude and threatening comments. Just because she found a house sooner than she had planned does not obligate me as the host to refund her but I did and I was flexible and let her extend for a few extra days at the end when she found it difficult to meet her check out date. Difficult, dirty and ungrateful guest.
