Unfortunately, our stay was not what we expected. When we arrived, the property did not appear to be properly cleaned. We found hair in the bed sheets, dirty/wet dishes put away in the cabinets, and the floors left our feet dirty from simply walking around barefoot. There was also toilet paper stuffed into a hole in the bathroom window, which was concerning.We also found an old bottle of medication left inside the home, which was especially alarming while traveling with children and added to the feeling that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned or checked before our arrival.The front door only had the keypad lock with no additional way to secure it from the inside, which made us uncomfortable, especially after being approached by someone outside the property late in the evening. On top of that, parts of the beds were loose/falling apart with exposed nuts and bolts.We did communicate concerns to the host/property management and ultimately decided we were no longer comfortable staying there and left early. The cleaning manager did come by, but there was little communication or resolution before we checked out.I understand that issues can happen occasionally with rentals, but cleanliness and basic safety/security are really important when traveling with family. Hopefully these concerns are addressed for future guests.

Cleanliness and guest comfort are extremely important to us, and we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced. After your concerns were reported, our cleaning manager arrived promptly with cleaning supplies prepared to address the items mentioned, but was unfortunately unable to enter the property after being informed access was not permitted. We regret that we were unable to resolve the situation to your satisfaction before you chose to depart early. Your comments regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and security have been shared with our team and have been addressed. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve for future guests.
