Family stay

The house was good for our needs with my brother and I and our families. Overall it was a nice house, nice location, easy access and clean! However, try to bring your own pillow and be prepared for some really uncomfortable mattresses. The master bed was incredibly noisy too so any time you roll over it squeaks loudly. The guest room queen was better but still uncomfortable. Downstairs the bed next to the door was not good either. Would recommend and hopefully they replace all the mattresses and the bed frame in the master.

Could’ve been worse

We could not get the hot water to work in the master bathroom and one of the windows wouldn’t close fully. We also found that one of the toilets was dirty. But overall it was fine, we loved the location.

Not terrible (depending on your definition)

This house was basically fine, but there were some issues that would have made the trip extremely unpleasant for some people. The biggest problems were the hot water and upstairs thermostat. The downstairs shower never got hot. The shower in the master bedroom didn't get hot for a few days, but eventually the people in that room figured out how to make it hot. But really, should it be complicated? (There were 2 people in that bedroom, and both tolerated cold showers for 3 days because they didn't realize the trick to make it hot.) Also, the upstairs thermostat was stuck on 76. It was uncomfortably hot upstairs. I called Vacasa when I arrived and the property manager said to email him. However, I couldn't find an email address, and just didn't have time to deal with it. We were in town for a conference and had a lot to do. And why was it my responsibility to email about a problem? Another issue is that one of the doors leading to the outside was unlocked when I got there! It didn't occur to me that I needed to check the doors, so I didn't even notice until the 2nd day. That means that I slept in that house as a woman by myself with a door to the outside unlocked. (The other people arrived the 2nd day.) Finally, the least important yet still slightly annoying thing is that there wasn't a toaster. A Keurig would have been nice too. Guess you get what you pay for!
