This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental offers a cozy home base for exploring the area's nearby beaches, trails and waterways. Downtown Traverse City sits only a short 2 miles away, offering shopping and dining on the shores of Lake Michigan. Enjoy one (or more!) of the award-winning vineyards, wineries and villages on the picturesque Old Mission and Leelanau peninsulas. This is Northern Michigan.

This Traverse City vacation rental is an ideal Up North retreat, made for exploring the gorgeous shores of Lake Michigan. The Bungalow offers a relaxing home base to return to at the end of the day complete with a well-equipped kitchen, spa amenity equipped deck and fenced-in yard space, perfect for four legged friends.

We love the TC Bungalow!

This is our second time staying with Adventure North in Traverse City and we hope to be back every year if we can! This is one of our all time favorite vacation rentals. The owners have thought of everything, and Shawne is always so helpful. The sauna, cold plunge and hot tub and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even better if your getaway includes a triathlon!

Great getaway!

The property was a great location being close enough to downtown to ride bikes but far enough away where you can rest and recharge. Was really restful, clean, and owners made a huge effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend!

We had an excellent time staying here. The house was in pristine condition and was fully stocked with everything we needed! Shawn was extremely helpful too and made sure we had everything we needed. I would 1000% recommend staying here if you are going to TC!

Great pet friendly stay with nice amenities!

This place is great. We had everything we needed to feel at home including a nice private backyard for the puppy. The sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub were great for relaxing at the end of the day. The place was clean and welcoming with some local snacks included. Overall, a great experience!

Great place for families AND dogs!

For a trip to Traverse City, this is definitely a great place to stay. We had a GREAT time and the place had everything we needed plus more. We only used the hot tub once since we were too busy doing things away from the house, but we did enjoy it, and especially enjoyed the arcade game cocktail table A LOT. Also enjoyed the massage chairs in the back bedroom. Very nice (and not common) to have a fully-fenced back yard, and that was great for us since the dog was along with us. She loved the place as much as we did, some friendly amenities for the pooches as well. The owners were excellent at communicating all the details, the expectations, the check-in and check-out instructions, and very responsive at any time needed. Could we recommend any improvements? Not really, maybe an electric kettle instead of stovetop? But only because we drink so much tea at all hours. :) That's about the best tip we can come up with. Highly recommended!

Wedding and Family Vacation

We made this are home base for a wedding and family vacation. We really enjoyed our stay here it was close to everything and we enjoyed being away from Front St but close enough that we could ride our bikes there in about 13 minutes. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the back yard with the fire pit.

Sweet little getaway

For larger groups and families, we offer a tricked-out 70's Lodge with in-ground pool, sauna and hot tubs; as well as a wheelchair accessible Lodge for your home base while up north. We also offer RV, Mazda MX-5 Miata convertible and Jeep Gladiator rentals for your further explorations- check us out!
