Piney Creek - Deerwood Park Cozy Mountain Cabin w/ 360 views & private pavillion

Beautiful pine floors and accents welcome you into our cozy cabin. Our open floor plan allows you to enjoy a wood burning fireplace from anywhere on the main level along with easy access to the wrap around deck; perfect for stargazing, looking for wildlife or just enjoying morning coffee.

A highlight of the cabin is a spacious pavilion on the lower level. This covered area is perfect for grilling and dining, relaxing in the hammock, reading a book or playing games.

A private master bedroom sits on the upper level with a king sized bed, full bathroom, smart TV and private balcony.

The lower level consists of a common area to relax and watch TV, a pullout queen sized sofa, full bathroom, washer/dryer and separate bedroom with two twin sized beds. A covered porch and access to the pavilion can also be granted from this level.

Deer Knoll cabin sits within a gated community, complete with a number of ponds; perfect for fishing, areas to hike and explore and 5 minutes from kayak/tube rentals. The cabin is easy driving distance to West Jefferson, Mt. Jefferson, New River state park, Grayson Highlands and the Creeper Trail.

Weekend Getaway

Couldn't ask for a better stay it was a awesome place lots of room watching deer in the back and very quit neighborhood owner was very nice and easy to get ahold of can't wait to stay again

Fall Leaf Looking Trip

Property was exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable with everything you need. The neighborhood was beautiful with easy access to everything. We enjoyed the outdoor eating area.

Cozy cabin/Great pavilion—family of 6

We had such a fun time getting away to your beautiful cabin. It had everything we needed and such a beautiful neighborhood with hiking & ponds. Being close to West Jefferson, the River & Grayson Highlands was a big plus. Hanging out in the pavilion was our favorite part each evening. Look forward to renting again in the future.

Nice cozy cabin

Had major storm during stay which is unusual for Western North Carolina. Owner answered text and phone and was very helpful. Since we lost power, recommend having a lantern or flashlight in cabin.

Definitely a little piece of heaven. Our host was more than helpful and her promt responses to all of our questions is greatly appreciated. The house was just perfect, small but spacious. It has beautiful views and is very clean. We will definitely be back.

Christmas family vacation

Excellent time, we loved the cabin! Very organized and clean. Easy to access and communication with Debra and Allison was excellent always , I really appreciate this since we had bad weather and they did everything possible to explain all I needed to know to be prepared. The kids really enjoyed going walking to Red Dog restaurant !!! ( amazing food ) We had an excellent stay and we are looking forward to be back soon. ❤️

Deer Knoll Cabin-Cozy Home Away from Home

We so enjoyed our stay at the Deer Knoll Cabin! Between the cozy interior decor and the exterior view and gazebo, it created an unforgettable mountainous atmosphere during our stay. The cabin was so clean and had all the necessary amenities needed to make our stay perfect. We will definitely return to Piney Creek and stay at the Pine Knoll Cabin.. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

A little slice of heaven…

We cannot say enough about Deer Knoll cabin and the gated community in Piney Creek! We absolutely loved spending every evening on the pavilion listening to the crickets and watching the lightning bugs. The hiking trails were amazing and even had gnome and fairy houses along the way! (which was cut out of a fairytale book) The canoe rental outfitter being 10 minutes down the road was awesome. Communication with Deborah (the host) was top notch and over and beyond our expectations. We had an amazing time, very wonderful and peaceful trip, and we will definitely rent again!!

We love welcoming visitors to our cabin! The area has so much to explore. Whether you are looking to get outdoors for a hike, a kayak adventure or sit under the covered pavillion, this area has something for everyone.

Varför värden valde detta boende

This neighborhood felt welcoming from the first time we visited (the incredible mountain views don't hurt either). There are a number of ponds and beautiful places to explore within the gated community.

If you are looking to get out, its proximity to several local towns affords the opportunity for a fun day trip of eating, drinking shopping and antiquing. We are also close to a number of great hiking and river adventure options so we think the location offers something for everyone.

We think our cabin is quite charming and we hope you do too. The cozy atmosphere and wood burning fireplace inside along with the wrap around porch and pavillion make it a great spot to make memories with family and friends.
