Om boendet

Welcome to “Your Retreat” in downtown North East, Maryland. We have a charming Main St surrounded by a variety of homes, restaurants and shops- all only 3 blocks away. We have a scenic town park with picnic tables, pavilions, and a large playground. We are located at the head of the North East River, so we are afforded all of the leisure activities the water provides. Close proximity to I-95 makes travel easy. Welcome and make yourself at home- Todd and I are happy to have you!
The space
Enjoy access to the entire home. There is a queen sized bed in each of the 2 bedrooms. There are also 2 twin sized cots available that can be set up as well so the home can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests. Everything is located on the main floor with the exception of the washer and dryer which is in the unfinished basement.

So clean and new!

Phyllis’ home was 100% newly remodeled and impeccably clean! We enjoyed a wonderful stay in her comfortable home. The fresh flowers were a welcome surprise after a long drive, and Phyllis checked in on us via text to make sure we made it there safely. Recommend!

Great getaway

We had a wedding to attend and decided to make a long weekend out of it and so glad we did! The home was beautiful, clean and had everything one could need! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and relaxation at this house. Will definitely be back again! Thanks to Phyllis our host who was amazing and even had flowers with a nice welcome note..perfect touch.

Cozy place far enough away from town noise

our 2nd time staying here! we love it! its cozy and close enough to walk to things in town but not be in the business of town! We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay. Phyllis was very accommodating and house had anything you would need. I would highly recommend if anyone is staying in the area. House is in a very quiet neighborhood. Phyllis also left me a flower from Amish Market.

Tidy, immaculate, lovely

Highly highly recommend for a stay in North East. A delightful small town on the northern shore of the Chesapeake. The house was lovely, immaculate, and well-appointed. The owner was extremely communicative and thoughtful and left local treats for us on check-in.

This property was beautiful and comfy And spacious enough for us. The owner was in touch and checked in to see if we needed anything. We didn't. It was all there ! We were in town for a wedding and this was perfect. It had everything we needed for the weekend. A short walk to the quaint downtown area. We loved it.

Great rental in an awesome location to Small Town USA

This was our first VRBO experience & the host, Phyliss, made it an easy care free stay. There was a welcome letter, fresh flowers & seasonal scent & the overall cleanliness of the house made it feel like our host wanted us there. There were plenty of linens, towels, utensils, plates, dinnerware k-cups, along with supplies like plastic wrap, storage bags, spices, condiments & the list goes on. The house (vacation rental) is beautiful & well maintained. Phyliss is & was a truly extraordinary host. I am sure that she must get tired of answering the same questions day in & day out, but her quick responses & outgoing demeanor made us feel wanted & right at home even before we arrived. It made us feel wanted & that we made the right choice. I would say to anyone that wants to stay in the North East/Elkton, MD area, this rental brings home the Small &Town USA feel an would be the exact location to do it at. The close proximity to Main St. in this beautiful little town with overflowing things to do, places to eat & shop, are all within walking distance or a short drive. We would highly recommend anyone wanting to visit the area to pick this location to enjoy there stay. We are already setting plans to visit again and will make sure we are staying I can't emphasize how clean, homey & well taken care of this rental is. Fresh paint, comfortable living spaces, well kept & stocked for that at home feel. If you don't make this rental your stay you are missing out! Thank You Phyliss!

Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed for the weekend and another couple joined us for a night. The house was perfect! Clean!! A little walk to town which was awesome!! And Phyllis had whoopie pies and fresh flowers for us when we arrived it was a nice bonus!! We will be back!

Completely satisfied!

My 2 granddaughters (12 and 10) and I celebrated a friends birthday in MD. We could not have been more satisfied with our accommodations. The place was so very clean, tidy, comfortable, stocked kitchen, even had spare toothbrushes (like us) who forgot them. And great shampoo and shower gels available And the bath towels were quality. The beds were so comfortable. Plus the flowers and the whoopie pies were an added treat. Was such a lovely place to come home to after a long day of playing. Highly recommended, Phyllis was a delight to deal with too.

Comfortable Stay

The house looks exactly like the pictures. It was a comfortable, clean house walkable to a little town. It certainly met our needs. Most importantly, Phyllis couldn’t have possibly been more thoughtful and accommodating!!
