Woodsy Cabin

The house had a great comfortable feel. We really enjoyed the beds they were so comfortable, bathrooms were nice with thick towels, instant hot water with plenty of pressure. It was a great place and would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at this property! It was clean and spacious. The hosts are amazing people! We appreciated the little things they did for us! And need I say, the night sky, beautiful!! We will stay here again!

Quiet and beautiful

Perfect location we needed to visit friends and played golf at Sugar Mountain. Will definitely stay again. The house has lots of space and comfy beds. Beautiful property!

Beautiful mountain retreat

It is a lovely spot with beautiful views all around. The house is large, comfortable and well appointed. It was great both for hanging out in and as a base for exploring the area (near Boone and Pisgah National Forest). Russ and Debbie were gracious and welcoming.

Peaceful getaway

My husband, son and I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed this comfortable home. Well stocked with everything we needed . The owners checked in on us and encouraged us to call if we needed anything. Definitely recommend for larger groups as well. The screened in porches were lovely. The master bedroom was amazing!

Cozy Cabin

The property is so peaceful and beautiful! We felt very at home there and loved everything about it! We attended North Wilkesboro race weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we’d liked to have! I would definitely book again to take advantage of the serenity of the property! Russ and Debbie are fantastic hosts and made us feel welcomed!

Wonderful stay near Wilkesboro

We loved Russ & Debbie's wonderful home in Boomer, NC. The home was perfectly appointed, clean and convenient for a lot of activities in Wilkesboro. The owners were very attentive and available and thought of literally everything when it came to a well-stocked home and kitchen. Having a washer/dryer was nice as well! We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Getaway

In the past we have stayed Friday & Saturday night... leaving on Sunday. This time we stayed til Monday and that extra day gave us downtime. We watched movies, colored, talked... just had a low key weekend.

Tranquility and impeccable hosting

Wow... We had the most amazing experience here. Debbie and Russ were fantastic and gracious. The cabin is a delight and every detail was accounted for. We loved the hummingbirds and the views. Staying here was a delight!

Wedding 2023

We immediately loved the house. There was plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable. The place was clean, and had everything we needed, (linens, towels,etc). Our hosts were readily available but not intrusive. They made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay. Would not hesitate to rent this house again.

So cozy!

This home is so cozy and comfortable! It is spacious and has everything you need! It was nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the rocker on the screened in back porch. We were even able to see a couple of deer in the backyard :-). The Browns were gracious hosts and live next door. They met us when we first arrived but gave us privacy. Everything was so clean and cared for. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Beautiful

I can't say enough good things about my stay. The place was clean the area was beautiful. The only thing I would add is the main bathroom needs some safety features like handles around the jetted tub and shower, that was scary only because I'm some what disabled and would like a little more security in case I slipped getting in and out of the tub or shower. Also a bench or something to sit on in the huge stone shower. Other than that a great quiet, clean, beautiful place to stay.

Best ever from Montana to Maine .

We have stayed in many homes over the years. I rate this as one of the best ever! Beautiful , private ,quiet location. A perfect blend of old construction with timely updates. Very clean and a welcome basket to boot. Instantly bonded with the owners who welcomed us with warmth and friendliness. If you're thinking of staying in the Lenoir, NC area -- this is where you want to go . 10 stars ! Bill Finley
