Om boendet

Our two bedroom condo just got fresh paint and new flooring! It is centrally located directly across the street from the beach with public access. It is only a five minute or less walk to the downtown where you can enjoy all local attractions such as the iconic pier, shopping, restaurants, and amusement park! The condo is clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for your vacation. You’ll be able to relax after a day soaking up the sun or get ready for a lively night downtown for dinner and entertainment. The condo has two levels and has been well maintained. The first floor consists of a living room area with a futon, a kitchenette to prepare meals, and a full bathroom to refresh from the day. The two bedrooms are located upstairs and provide for the perfect environment to relax for the evening (you have to walk through bedroom 1 to get to bedroom 2). Air conditioning upstairs allows guests to relax and stay cool on hot days. There is one parking space available in front of the unit for your convenience. There’s also patio furniture outside your door to sit back, enjoy a drink, and people watch!

Take advantage of the countless outdoor sports the area has to offer such as fishing, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, biking, and snorkeling to name a few. In addition to the beach and downtown, there is so much more to do in the area. The Ferry Beach State Park is close by to take a hike on its gorgeous trails, or bring your kids to Funtown/Splashtown and Aquaboggan Water Park for a day of excitement. Go out to dinner and drinks in the foodie area of Portland that’s just 20 minutes away, or 30 minutes south brings you to gorgeous downtown Kennebunkport! Alternatively, if you're feeling like a road trip, Boston is just a 90 minute drive or hop on the local train! Or just sit back, relax, and feel at home at this beautiful beach condo where the action is in Maine, the way life should be.

*Please know that the train runs a block over from the beach through OOB, and the tracks are behind this condo. Anyone close to the beach has to deal with the train!*

Great Location

Very convenient to beach and pier. Manager was accommodating to let us check in early. Plenty of room for 3 ladies to spread out and be comfortable. Yes, right on the tracks, and, yes, partiers outside. We didn't mind that at all.

Great experience

Easiest check in/check out process. Great location but they aren’t kidding about that train. Small sacrifice to make considering the proximity to beach/downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

OOB Getaway

Unit 9 had no beach view (the view was the building across the street and the mini golf course & train tracks right behind the building. The first night of the stay was awful due to a malfunctioning smoke detector. I contacted Melissa the next day & that issue was remedied. The train coming through during the night is definitely noisy. Isn't much one can do about that as the property is located right by the train tracks. Overall the location to the beach was spectacular and easy walks to everything you could want - good food, shops, beach, amusement park, etc.

Great unit TOO CLOSE TO TRAIN and Center

The weather was sketchy, location near the center was very very loud until 230 AM. The amtrack train blew its whistle 3-4 times between midnight amd 4 am. Difficult to sleep
