It is a hard uphill walk to Universal. But cheaper to urber there and the walk home is mostly downhill. There are a lot of stairs in the house. We were late checking in because of air travel. But the cleaner was still there when we arrived. A tv remote was missing, but after a text message we received a new one in record time.

Perfect Family Stay

Great stay for multi generational family celebrating my daughter’s birthday. A couple hiccups but the owners are amazing at communicating. The home is not quite walking distance to Universal, possible, but not on the same side of freeway and we didn’t want to walk on busy street with our kids. We all said we would stay again in a heart beat.

Comfy stay for an extended family of 8!

I was looking for a last-minute vacation rental for 4 adults and 4 children for a Universal Studios trip and got so lucky to have found this place! It is walking distance to the theme park, and you can see the parking structure from the window, although due to the parking situation as well as having an elderly person and 4 little children under 8 years old, we opted to drive over anyway. We had an SUV and a large truck with us, and I knew only one would fit in the garage based on the owner's instructions and previous reviews. The owner mentioned parking on side streets or a parking garage, but the street parking signs were a bit confusing - some required a permit, others stated no parking between 8am-6pm, and others stated 2 hour parking between 8am-6pm. We ended up parking the truck in the evenings in the after 6pm spots, and moving the truck before 8am. One spot is right in front of the property, so that was a plus. We initially tried the parking structure, however, Google Maps has it pointing to the Nissan dealership, whereas the structure is on the other side of the street. Looking online, you think you can get parking for $1.25 for 2 hours, but the rate is actually $1.25 per 15 minutes! So we got charged $8 for <2 hrs of parking. Basically, if you just have one mid-sized car, you're golden. Other than that, the owner was so attentive and responsive via the booking app! Communication was very professional. Home was well stocked and the kids loved it!

Great location for Universal Studios and Hollywood

Perfect location for people going to universal studios and the hollywood area. Walkable to the park - but mostly uphill (or drive over in 2-3 mins). Kitchen was well appointed - including 2 coffee machines, toaster & tea kettle - which made for a pleasant stay. All three bedrooms on second floor were nice with HUGE closets. Very comfortable beds in all. Downstairs bonus room/4th bedroom was bigger than expected! Great for family gathering to watch TV - and great with its own bathroom. The full size sofa bed was very comfy. And the small outdoor area off this room was a nice bonus. While it is close to the highway, there is very little noise. And if you are an In-and-Out fan, there is one walking distance (the drive-thru line in insane!) Property manager (Sean) was extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. Two small notes for future renters: 1. Stairs - there are lots of stairs (I believe my mom counted 38) which could be challenging for young children or guests of advanced age. They are a bit steep. 2. garage is quite small so likely only can really hold one car when the garbage cans are not out on the curb. Our family would stay here again.

No issues whatsoever. The house is very close to everything, for us visiting Universal Studios; the park was across the freeway. Will definitely recommend.

Universal Studios Family Trip

Close to Universal. Clean. Plenty of space to sleep. We had 11 in our group. Only thing is maybe more paper towels available & dryer sheets & fabric softener for laundry. It was a great place to stay.

Close to lots of attractions

Place was super clean and equipped with coffee /keurig which was a huge plus to us! We traveled with 4 adults and 6 kids and lower level was perfect for them to all sleep . Team was very responsive to any questions that we had. Highly recommend !
