We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The location was ideal—close to the beach, swimming pool, and everything we wanted to see on the island. It was a great place to relax and enjoy our vacation. Highly recommend!

Love this Resort

Waipouli is a great resort, love staying here. Nice ground floor 1 BR unit off the pool with easy access to beach, pool and restaurant.

Ocean front condo

Condo was lacking properly functional a/c. Sofa bed would not go back in. Oven constantly 'dinged'. Knives where badly damaged and chipped. Resort pool was beautiful and fun. Area was incredible. Condo needs some TLC, was dissapointing.

The unit was perfect for us. Nice well appointed unit in a good resort setting at a perfect location. We had a short stay, but it was great. Hosts were proactive, and communication was easy. We would love to come back again

Amazing Stay

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay. The unit was spectacular and made us feel at home the moment we stepped inside. It’s perfectly adjacent to the pool, steps from the beach, and the Oasis restaurant on site was fantastic (they’re sea/farm to table). Al and Amanda were a delight to work with, and we hope to stay again. Mahalo!

Great hosts generous with advice. Co-op was luxurious, clean and ready to enjoy. The pool and hot tub were a 1 minute walk and totally delicious. Definitely would return.

Cosy apartment next to the pool area

We really enjoyed our stay at Al and Amanda's condo. It was very clean and had everything you need including beach equipment. The resort was very well maintained and the kids loved the pools and slides. The Oasis restaurant is also recommended and the concierge service was super helpful in booking excursions. Also very convenient is the Safeway just across the street. We would love to come back again!

Perfect

I wouldn’t change anything about our stay! The property is as beautiful! Our Condo was clean. I loved being on the main level and the kids could walk right out to the pool area. We used the beach chairs and cooler that were supplied multiple days. The kitchen was well stocked and had all of the basic necessities that we needed. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Honeymoon Stay

This place was very nice, and in a great location relative to the island! Kapaa is centrally located on the east side of Kauai, which worked out great to call a home base while exploring during our trip. We ran into some issues with our unit not being cleaned when we arrived, however VRBO and our host were very accommodating and were able to get things resolved for us. Amenities wise, this resort was also fantastic. The pool area is amazing, and the beach is also great! We've been to a number of resorts that claim they are beach side, but push come to shove it's a very small section that isn't enjoyable to swim in or hang out at. This was not the case here. Beautiful beach area, and also a very nice beachside restaurant! All in all, this was a great condo at a great resort. We'd defintely stay here again while visiting Kauai!

Outstanding Condo

This condo is spacious and nicely furnished. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for any meals you might prepare. Bed is extremely comfortable, and the two baths very nicely decorated and convenient. The location is ideal being close to the pool entrance, the beach, and the on-site restaurant (great food and drinks!). Also no units on either side of this one. Parking is very close. Plenty of beach toys for sand and surf. The resort location is right across from a shopping center with a supermarket, and just down the road is the Coconut Marketplace with additional dining and shopping options. The hosts responded quickly to any questions, and were great to deal with both before and during our stay. Our experience could not have been better. If we return to Kauai we would love to stay in this condo again!

Well Stocked, Beautiful-Great Location

We rented this unit for a family getaway and the condo did not disappoint. Well stocked in the kitchen and extremely well stocked for fun in the sun with beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, sand toys, snorkelling gear etc. (the most stocked unit we’ve ever rented!) The grounds of the resort are immaculate and we enjoyed the morning sun rises over the ocean from the beach attached to the resort and the pool and hot tub were great for us and the kids! The location of this resort made it easy to travel to either sides of the island as the location is central and not to mention close to the airport, pharmacy, Coconut Market, grocery stores (Safeway across the street)and restaurants. The property manager is very responsive and very easy to deal with. They provided recommendations when we asked and they have an awesome assortment of books about the sites in Kauai that we used throughout our trip. We appreciated the ground location of this unit as it was easy for loading in the kids and our beach bags after a long day out sightseeing and the location was great for accessing the pool and bbqs etc. The ease to and from this unit was an unexpected bonus and we loved the location for our family.

Honeymoon

My husband and I stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon. I could not have asked for a better host, location or suite. We stopped off at the Safeway across the street when we got here to get food items. On night one I cooked us one of our routine meals using the kitchen items that are available here. This helped us to really unwind from a day of flying. In the morning, I made a pot of coffee using the Kawaii coffee that came with the room. I consider myself a coffee snob, and oh boy, I am a fan of that stuff now! My husband was able to set up his laptop on the dining table. The Wi-Fi was great and easy to connect to. I was a little bit chilly in the morning, so we walked across the street to the ABC store and purchased a hoodie, though the extra blankets that were available in the room were easy to find and fit the bill as well. The ocean is a short stroll from the room and you can see a bit of it from the room as well to watch the waves. The Cuisinart drip coffee maker worked perfectly. I had all of the kitchen items that I needed (Pots, pans, tongs, spatulas, spices, cups, plates, wine, glasses, wine bottle opener, etc). The bed is firm, but ours at home is as well, so it was great for us. I can’t think of anything about this room that I did not like. I would absolutely book another stay here again in the future without hesitation and would recommend it to any of my friends and family.

This condo is in the perfect location to drive north or south. The condo is spacious and clean. I love that it has 2 bathrooms. It’s also a very short walk to the beach. I’ve stayed there twice and would stay again.

We reserved this condo for the 8 days we were going to be in Kauai, but ended up not staying there at all. When we arrived, the condo wreaked of cigarette smoke. We both had headaches within 20 minutes of arrival and my husband’s allergies/asthma were already starting to cause some respiratory distress because of the smell. The owner tried to blame the smell on the ‘mustiness’ of the island and being by the ocean. We, however, stayed in 5 different hotels/condos during our time on the island and had no such smells or issues in any of those locations. The condo appeared clean and the resort looked awesome, but it was just not possible for us to stay there. We also were unable to connect to the sketchy WiFi at the condo, thus inhibiting our communication efforts. The owner is now refusing to refund our money and VRBO is being anything but helpful. We highly recommend NOT staying at this location.

My husband and I lived on Kauai for 13 amazing years. We were transplants from Newport Beach, CA and decided to live in paradise instead 😊. We came one time for a visit and never looked back and ended up staying the last 13 years!

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Kauai is very special and Kapaa is the heart of Kauai. Most tourists think they either go South or North of the Island but after so many years on the Island we felt the best place to be is the center which makes it so easy to either go North or South because we are half way. Kapaa is also strategically situated about 15 minutes from the airport and downtown which makes it so convenient.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Waipouli Beach Resort were our condo is very unique. It sits on the Coconut Coast one of the most beautiful beaches on Kauai and I dare say on all the Hawaiian Chain Islands. The resort is right on the beach and across the street you have all the amenities that you can think of, amazing Restaurants, Fast Food Chains, Super Market, UPS store, Shopping center, Ice Cream/Shave Ice, Farmers Market, fresh vegetables and fruit stands, shops to rent gear for surfing, snorkeling, kayaking , etc. There is no were else on the Island that has that concentration of amenities in one place!!
