A Downtown one bedroom 1.5 bathroom condo.
All of Casa De Compaiâs one bedroom condos are all constructed with the same high end materials of mahogany and granite. These condos have an open, fully outfitted kitchen. The living room has a sofa and a tv that swivels so you can watch the fiber optic tv channels or surf the web on your private high speed router. There is a dining table and chairs, and there is also a half bathroom off the living room. The bedroom is air conditioned and has a king size bed with a sealy double pillow top mattress and another tv so you can lay in bed and relax. The walk in closet has a safe and plenty of space for all your clothes and bags. There is a office space with mirror to set up a small work station. The full bathroom is on suit. each condo also has a balcony with mahogany rocking chairs.
Casa De Compai has everything you need to keep you both entertained and relaxed during your stay. Between the convenience of the beach or the pool right outside your door, there is always somewhere to go and unwind.
A car is not necessary while residing at Casa de Compai. We are located in the very heart of Sosua, with access to all of your vacation essentials within minutes. There are a wealth of restaurants, bars, shops, grocery stores, clubs, and casinos all within a short walking distance.

Compai and Kumpel both mean buddy or pal. John, the owner is from Southern New Jersey, a former member of the U.S. Army, and a utility worker. In 2010, John purchased his first property in Sosua at the Garden Condos. Then, shortly after he realized Sosua is where he wanted to live. In 2014 John was able to purchase what is now Casa De Compai. It was the fulfillment of a dream, to be able to do what he has done for 30+ years in Southern New Jersey restoring old homes, now John has done that in the Caribbean. Johnâs vision for Casa De Compai is to provide an opulent vacation rental, in a upgraded well maintained property, at an affordable cost.

There are several different beaches and all are within a 12 minute \
Playa Sosua is the townâs main beach and is a fun, colorful and lively beach which is approximately one kilometer long, with a row of shacks along the back, selling food, drinks and souvenirs. The beach has sheltered, calm waters, and around 100 meters out there is a good reef for snorkeling. It is a great place to spend the day.
There are four other beaches, and others come and go following the effects of storms. These tend to be quieter for those who want a more relaxed beach day.
There are several different transport options, but bear in mind that everything is within walking distance from Casa De Compai. In addition there are motorcycle taxis, normal taxis, buses to get to Puerto Plata or Cabarete or further afield, or you can hire a car or a scooter.
There are numerous things to do in and around SosĂșa either on your own, or taking an excursion. These include scuba diving, and Casa De Compai can offer the pool training on site for you. In addition there is deep sea fishing, jeep tours, waterfalls, horseback riding, whale watching (in season). There are also excursions to different beaches and snorkeling tours.SosĂșa has a large number of restaurants and you can find authentic German, Italian, English and even Dominican food! There are places to eat pizza, burger, ribs, fried chicken and fine dining restaurants overlooking the ocean serving sea food and quality steaks. Whether you want a romantic meal for two, a fun night with friends watching sports or a quick bite to eat, SosĂșa has something for everyone
