Most relaxing vacation we have had. House was exactly how it was stated. Pool was wonderful!! Beach was quick walk from the house. Host was extremely helpful and answered any questions in a timely manner.

this is the second year in a row that we have rented this house. we like the house, the location, and the amenities. Hot tub was great and house is spacious. we have never had to contact the host because check-in has always been easy. The only issue that the group complained about waa the mattresses are very uncomfortable and need replacing. I don't know if the group will be considering this house next year because of this one issue.

Seaside Rentals does not care about your safety as a single female traveler.

The property was filthy. High touch areas were caked with dirt. Bedding stained and tattered. Every window screen in the property was either missing or slashed. The sills mimicked a fly graveyard. There was a “substance” on the downstairs restroom wall. Gaps in the flooring to the subfloor. Property managers came to the property to make note of safety and cleanliness issues and informed me that they hadn’t set foot on the property in some time. Returned from an errand to find an unauthorized individual’s truck, the properties door wide open, my dogs kennel empty, my property no longer secure and a stranger claiming to be there to fix the washer (when earlier there had been an individual sent by Seaside to do the very same thing.) The individual claimed to be hired by the owner of the property. I called VRBO about my stay and they could only offer the roadblock that I had already been led down with Seaside. While away from the property my friend informed me that the individual hired by the owner had returned again with no notice. My friend denied the individual entry and after being told not to return the individual stated he would be back when a part came in. I was made aware of the washer prior to my stay and prepared to not have to use it. Seaside made it their priority to fix it during my stay regardless of my comfort and safety. I left the property days early and requested a refund only to be denied because “it was only the washer.”

Hello Stephanie, Thank you for your feedback about your recent stay at Poolside Paradise. We do apologize for the issues with the washer/dryer and the cleaning that was missed prior to your arrival. After check in and hearing of your dissatisfaction two of our property coordinators stopped by to do a walkthrough with you. We took all of the comforters and re-washed them and Sent a cleaner back out to the home to re-clean the missed items. We also offered laundry service and extra towels (which was declined) until the repairs could be made. The maintenance technician for this home stopped by to check on the washer and dryer to see what needed to be fixed. He then stopped by a second time to make the repair and was told to come back after you had checked out to complete it. He let you know that the repair would only take 10 mins and did leave his business card with you incase you changed your mind. Later that week we received an email from you letting us know that you did leave early as you had obligations in Raleigh. A refund was not approved for these items but we did send over some vouchers that could be used for a future stay. Again we are sorry for the issues that you encountered but do hope you enjoyed the days that you were able to be here.
