Your nostalgic beach hideaway awaits! Originally built in 1964, The Lamplighter Inn is a classic roadside hideaway situated moments from the ocean on Highway 101. You’ll love the retro charm, modern updates, and sizable rooms.

Each room presents a unique, sea-themed interior with recent upgrades like new flooring and Serta Beautyrest mattresses. Kick back to watch favorite TV shows with Dish programming. Perfect for keeping beach snacks handy, the kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

Your peaceful setting is only three-quarters of a mile from Old Town Bandon, with ten square blocks of local shops and restaurants along the Coquille River. Bandon’s famous beaches are within a two-mile drive, and serene hiking trails can be found just minutes away.

Great Beach Stay

Not much. It was more than adequate but nothing to love. Having to sit in the car and spend half an hour (a) figuring out HOW to check in, and (b) checking in was a real downer.

The room is clean and quiet, but getting in was a challenge. The lock on the door didn't work with the code that was given and there's nobody there to assist so I had to call an 800#. I wouldn't stay there again.

Great,clean room, comfortable bed,at a fantastic price.

This is our second time at the lamplighter Inn, and we love it there. We don’t even look anywhere else. The rooms are decorated so nicely, the beds are comfortable. It’s quiet there. It would be nice to have a few more coffee pods for our stay. But there is a really great drive up coffee place 30 second drive from the motel.

We had seen negative reviews regarding, the check in process and noise at the building so we were hesitant to book this location. Our experience was good however. The only interaction was with the housekeepers. They were pleasant and helpful each time. It was quiet and DEFINITELY clean. We would stay again!

Nice clean place in Bandon

The room was very clean. We appreciated all the electrical plugs as usually in hotel rooms there are never enough. We also liked the whale-themed artwork throughput. It was also fairly soundproof, as we could not hear our neighbors through our walls. The sound of the highway was there but was somewhat drowned out by the fan. Ice machine didn't work.
