Our property boasts stunning lake views that will make you feel like you're on a houseboat right on the water. With lake views from three of our king en-suites, as well as the main and lake-level family rooms, it's like the lake views are the default artwork. Enjoy the picturesque views from the comfort of your bed or unwind in a hot tub at the end of the day while surrounded by stunning scenery.

Enjoy quiet reflections while fishing from your backyard or dock your boat from May through September. Our Deep Creek Lake vacation home has a backyard fire pit that's right on the water, S'more memories do not get better than this!

Deep Creek Lake is beautiful in all seasons! Bustling with activity in Summer, colorful in Fall, festive during holidays, front seat to winter sports in the winter, peaceful in spring! ★Adequate space for 4 medium sized cars in the front! You may be able to fit a large car with maneuvering. House is easy to access off Garrett Hwy. We provide snow plowing service in winter. Driveway has a slope and AWD vehicles are recommended in winter!

★Please note Docks are out of the water, Kayaks in storage now till mid April.★

Location

Property is in a great location. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. Hot tub is nice. Kids enjoyed the game room. Parking area is small. Garrett Highway is very busy and dangerous to get out from driveway.

We loved our whole experience at this house. Once we arrived, we never moved our vehicles because there was so much to do. A boat rental is two doors down from the house, and we decided to rent one for three days. So we spent most of our time on the water. If we had to go to the store, we traveled to one via the boat. We wanted to go out to eat a couple of times, so we traveled there on the boat. There are many nice places to eat like Dutch’s Daughter and Firewall, and the Creamery is a few doors down from this house. The pier provided a lot of fishing opportunities and the fire pit area was cozy for evening fires with the family. The house was nicely designed and decorated. We especially enjoyed the infinity table with the children. The family room in the lower level has a very large sectional sofa with oversized ottomans which hosted a family movie night. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Late May Stay at Deep Creek

Our extended family attempted to beat the summer rush by booking the shoulder season right after Memorial Day (May 27th) failing to account for the much cooler weather at altitude. It was too cool for most outdoor activity, but we were able to make good use of the well equipped "penthouse" game room and other features of the house. Overall a great place to stay inside also!

Beautiful home/perfect location

Love this house!

We loved Hygee Memories! It was exceptionally clean, well stocked, everything was labeled. The views were just beautiful! I know it's along a main road, but when you are inside the house it's super quiet. The hosts were super responsive when we had questions and couldn't be kinder. We would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Family Getaway

This house was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 children (ages 5,6,7,8). There was ample space to be together, and, ample space to be alone! The arcade games and Infinity game table were huge hits for everyone. The kids loved wading in the lake and the adults loved using the 2 kayaks. The kitchen is well appointed. The s’more ingredients were a welcome surprise. And the hot tub was enjoyed by all. It was a memorable week and we look forward to coming back.

Spring Break

Our family of 10 had a great time on the lake. The house is comfortable to host a large group. Multiple King beds is a big plus. The lake views are stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you have multiple cars but after a few times pulling in and out we figured it out. We are looking forward to visiting again, hopefully in warmer months to take full advantage of the lake activities. Hima was amazing at answering all of our questions throughout our stay. I highly recommend Hygge Memories!!!

End of summer

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is laid out nicely with a fully appointed kitchen, different levels for sleeping/living with the lower level great for movie night and boat watching. The three balconies provided beautiful views and being lakefront was amazing for boating, swimming, and kayaking! It is centrally located to shops and restaurants. There is quite a bit of traffic noise but it is easily overlooked by the setting and not noticeable in the back of the house. The house has a modern and mostly updated appeal. There were a few general maintenance issues but handled promptly by the host; communication was excellent! We really enjoyed our stay!

Weekend at the lake!

Our family enjoyed our stay with Hygge Memories on the Lake. The house was clean and updated with nice additions like noise machines, and Netflix smart TV's in each room. It was a quaint space that can accommodate up to 12, although we only had 5 adults and 2 children. The firepit was a plus, and the proximity to the neighborhood ice-cream shop was an extra cherry on top! The property manager was very communicative, and provided some personal touches. I would recommend this stay for a short 2-4 nights at the lake for sure.

2023 Family get away

We had a wonderful time at Deep Creek Lake. This home is situated right in the middle of it. Very nice home with lots of room. Noticed a couple of items of concern and contacted Hima who was immediately responsive and addressed our concerns quickly. Being we were multi generational visiting, I would recommend adding safety grab bars to the tubs. Even consider changing two of them out to step in/walk in showers. If you’re looking for a relaxing get away, we highly recommend staying at Hima’s property. You’ll be taken care of!

We love this place!

This was our second time at this beautiful well-managed property (we weren't able to write a review last year). Its lakeside location is within walking distance to restaurants, an excellent grocery store, boats to rent, and (most importantly for some in our party) delicious artisanal ice-cream. The house was clean, with a generous variety of supplies provided (including paper towels, shampoo/soap in the bathrooms, and a few Keurig coffee cups). The house is decorated in true "hygge" style, comfortable and comforting. Two kayaks were available for our use (and we used them!). We found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. Hima, the owner, provided us with a clear and accessible instruction manual for the house and neighborhood, and our entire stay was very organized with timely email communications. Hima was very responsive when we had minor questions. Strongly recommend and we'd go back anytime!

Hygge Memories Reflections

The property was very nice and was essentially as advertised other than normal wear and tear since the pictures were taken. Front porch paint could definitely use a touch up.Things to resolve:1) Keurig coffee maker lid required a weight on top to stay closed2) Basement shower nozzle was loose3) We had 9 people. There were only 8 seats at the dinner table. That would be a big problem in a group actually maxed out at 14 people, especially in the late fall through early spring when you can’t eat outside 4) There were three propane tanks but two were empty and we emptied the active one5) Knob on the basement dresser drawer was not connected6) We had a fair amount of carpenter ants and other small insects!Suggestions:1) The deck should have a gate for pets and small children.2) The dock should connect better to the grass. There was a slope that was treacherous when wet, especially for the two folks with some mobility issues3) Cupboard space was very tight. Plates, cups, bowls, and pans could be consolidated.That said, the major problem was the basement water leak that we discovered the last day. The water completely saturated the basement floor board so that water seeped through the tile and onto the area rug. Without proper remediation, this could become a mold problem. Due to this problem, two of the three families left early on Friday since they could not use the basement. I would hope that some sort of refund should be offered for that.

Was not told in advance about the fireplace not working and that we had to buy our own wood for the fire pit. The listing said firewood provided. The reason given was the wood would get wet but there were areas in the basement that firewood could have been stored. Laundry room would have been perfect. Ran out of hot water quickly. Mice droppings, livingroom door was very difficult to lock. Big pot hole at driveway. Jacuzzis were dirty. Now for good stuff-overall the house was clean. Plenty of towels, kitchen well equipment, a lot of needed appliances. Table was large enough to accommodate everyone. Pantry well stocked with all types of spices. All the bedrooms had smart TV- that was very nice. The view was magnificent. While we started off with things that were a minus, our intentions is to help for the next guest. We had a a fantastic Thanksgiving!! Thank you very much.

The house was really great for our family. The back yard area and decks with a view of the lake are wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked, but we had to buy handsoaps for Bathrooms. The only reason I rated 4 overall is the location on a busy road which was noisy at night when trying to sleep. The driveway entrance scraped the bottom of our car, which my husband definitely wanted to let you know. You have to be strategic about entry/exit if your car sits low

Wet but wonderful

Our family spent a rainy week here. It could have been disappointing, but wasn’t. There was plenty to do at the house as well as in the area. The house is beautiful, roomy and has plenty to offer. The arcade games, infinity table & hot tub provided lots of enjoyment. I highly recommend this property.

A little bit underwhelmed

The house itself was beautiful. Very great location and walkable to the restaurants and shops. The place itself had a couple issues. In the photos they had the dock in the water. That was what we were looking forward to but when we arrived we did not have the dock in the water. It was a huge disappointment to show up and not be able to fish on the dock. The next issue we had was that there were not enough towels, paper towels, toilet paper, or garbage bags. We had to purchase all of those things ourselves when we ran out and it was very inconvenient. The fridge was very bare and did not even have any condiments or water, this was disappointing because again we had to buy everything ourselves. The final thing that really was not great was that the hot tub was dirty and filled with sticks and bugs. The water was too low and it definitely needed more water and to be cleaned. Overall the house was great but not at all worth paying top dollar for a place that is clearly just run by a management company who doesn’t seem to care about much more than a buck. There were many things in the house that needed repairs that must have just gone to the back burner Great location, beautiful home, tons to do with the kids and family, but overall disappointed for what we paid for. It was not what the listing made it to be.

Great view of the lake and well stocked house

This house had a wonderful view of the lake. We had everything we needed for meals at home and really enjoyed the game room.

Exactly as advertised, great for groups!

We stayed here with five couples and had a great weekend! Everyone had their own room and there was so much space, we never felt crammed. The house was exactly as advertised, no issues, and the hosts were extremely communicative and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot on the lake!

We fell in love with this lakefront home with incredible water views. I find it luxurious to wake up and walk out into the backyard and have coffee on the lake. Sunsets are amazing from the deck. I love the lake in all seasons, amazing frozen landscape in winter, tranquil in spring, bustling with activities in summer and colorful in fall!
