Little Piece of Heaven

Updated very comfortable place to be with the beach right at your back door! Patty, our host, was very nice and answered our questions right away! Great location! Right next door to Kyllos restaurant.

Amazing location

We had a great time. There was plenty of room for us girls. Not only was there a separate bedroom and Murphy bed but the ottoman and couch also converted. We didn’t need all those beds but it was nice having them. The access to the beach was just steps away and we even got to enjoy a fire bit later one night. We also enjoyed the heated pool and sauna. For dinner we walked over to kyllos and in the morning took a quick stroll north to Dutch bros. All in all it was a great night.

Great get away

Came down from Washington state for 5 days. The location is easy to get to, the condo was right on the beach with great views. The condo was clean and the kitchen well appointed. Lincoln City is such a great place to relax. The manager was great to work with and easy to get ahold of. We loved our stay. Thanks.

Loved having the room right on the beach. Great price for the room. Gave it a 4 since our door was very difficult to open. We were worried a few times we were not going to be able to open the door. We had everything we needed and the decorations were cute

Nearly Perfect Stay

Pros: Almost everything! On the beach, beach chairs, clean, just as advertised. Cons: Fan in bathroom super loud and needs to be repaired or replaced. Murphy bed not as soft as desired. Coffee maker broken.Minor stuff.

You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear

It's a cute property with lots of beachy decor and relatively new-looking furniture, floors, and carpet; however, it is just overloaded with stuff-too many dishes, too many chairs, too many toys and games, much of it broken, rusty, or missing pieces. Everything, and I mean every surface, is covered with some greasy film, making it pretty gross to touch the cabinets, microwave, light switches, door knobs, etc. The screen door was broken. I don't think the sheets were clean on two of the three beds. They smelled of body odor. I pool is dirty, and I was given a non-working code to get in. I never saw the office opened. The lock box with the key was broken. I didn't even have to put in the code. The top fell off in my hand. The parking lot is not monitored for non-guests. The staircase down to the beach is destroyed, people tore off the tape, used it anyway, and that is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. I heard a women in the parking lot discussing that when she went in her room, she found that it was unclean, and the floors hadn't even been mopped. All of these issues have simple fixes. My advice to spend less at Hobby Lobby on decor and more on efficiency and house-keeping. The other thing that really bothers me is paying a cleaning fee yet having to leave beds and pillows a certain way, wash the dishes and put them away (who knows if the previous person actually washed them with soap?), and take out the trash. Really? What did I pay for then?

Perfect location

Unit is perfect beach decor & well supplied. View is spectacular in one of the best locations in Lincoln City for easy beach access. A bit of a “fish bowl” effect as neighbors walk past slider to outside nonstop or hang out right outside. Regardless we would come back.

Great location and plenty of room

Great view and easy access to the beach. Fully loaded with all utensils in the kitchen. The two full bathrooms were great for a family of four. Plenty of storage space and had plenty of beach chairs, games and toys. My 16 year old son was worried about tv service but didn’t have to, smart TV had everything we needed for the little time we watched it. Very close, within walking distance, to the tide pools. Nice size main bedroom with full bath and the Murphy bed in the living room were perfect for 4.

Horrible

I booked this condo because the ad said it was a two-bedroom. It is not a two-bedroom but a one-bedroom with a pull down bed in the living room. That meant half the "living room" space is devoted to allowing a second bed. The space for the "living room" and "kitchen" is smaller than a studio, and for a family of 5 this was not livable unless my wife and I were in the bedroom with our youngest. The Sea Gypsy is a dump and so was the room. I could tell minimal effort is put into cleaning the condo, and absolutely no maintenance is done. There were numerous spots/stains on the wall along with numerous spits with missing paint. The stove was gross and so was the fridge. We didnt cook anything the whole time because of that. I got in touch with VRBO to express my concern and report that the listing is false advertisement. They are currently working with me on the matter. They also suggested that i get in touch with the owner to work it out. The owner told me i should just deal with it and offered no partial refund for the wrongful ad. I paid more for a place that was smaller than most hotel rooms, that i had to clean myself, and offered minimal ammenities. Dont make the same mistake i did.

a great family vacation

We really enjoyed the unit and the host. She was very helpful both in answering any questions we had beforehand and during our stay there. The unit was stocked well, was clean and when we had any questions for her, she was immediately available by phone to help. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Beach trip

We love the condo right on the beach! The unit is clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds are comfortable. I asked for extra blankets and they were there when we arrived. I have visited with the owner several times. She is readily available, accommodating, and very nice. This was our second visit; we will be back.

Right on the beach

A wonderful condo just steps from the beach. Beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. The kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything to cook your meals with. The ocean view is fantastic!

Patty är värd

Our family owned beach home was originally bought by my mother and father in 1978; whose footprints in the sand have now faded. For years we have been able to build wonderful memories and share much laughter here. I have enjoyed watching my daughters grow up here, playing in the sand and the sun. It has been a wonderful place to get away from it all and leave the hustle and the bustle of the city behind for a weekend or for a week. Now my daughters are grown and we still love spending time here together.. I hope you will come and enjoy the coast and build beautiful memories of your own.

The complex sits back one block from Hwy 101, where its quiet and not on a busy street. Your close enough to walk in town to go through those beachy stores. When you first see the view it will take your breath away. It feels like home and you will want to bring yourself , family and friends back after year. You will feel happy, relaxed and kid like again. It is always good to find a place you never want to leave and can hardly wait to come back to.
