This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, called Flip Flop Inn, is your home away from home. The house is only 1 block from the beach and sleeps a maximum of 8. There is 1 queen in the master bedroom on the ground level. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms + 1 bathroom are on the 2nd level. There is 1 queen in the 2nd bedroom & 1 full with twin bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom. This house is pet friendly (dogs only) with a $200.00 Non-Refundable Pet Fee!

This house is located in the quiet Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach. The Flip Flop Inn is conveniently located to several restaurants, shops, beach bars, attractions & more. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, including refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and everything you need to make a meal. Wanna grill out? No problem, there is a BBQ grill and picnic table too. There are TV's in all 3 bedrooms as well as the living room, free Wi-Fi, parking for 2 vehicles and a full sized washer & dryer. The beach is is only 400 ft away and the Flip Flop Inn features an enclosed outdoor shower with hot & cold water and a foot wash to minimize bringing sand inside.

Across the street from the Beach -easy walk!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Flip Flop for 4 days and it was a good location for us. We were close enough to the beach to make access easy and the house was clean. We did not cook at the house as we were visiting relatives who live in Myrtle Beach, but cooking utensils and cookware was minimal. We did have plenty of plates/silverware/coffee mugs and glasses. There were only 4 adults who stayed here, but there was plenty of room for additional people. If visiting the area again, we would definitely look to book this location.

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! House was very clean and was well equipped with everything we needed. Great location in proximity to the beach, just a short walk! The management company was very friendly and helpful - they were very quick to respond to any/all requests. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

The house was clean and had plenty of room and everything we needed. The ceiling had some previous water damage and when it rained it leaked into the house. This should be fixed soon before there are bigger issues.

Nice proximity to the beach

My family stayed at the Flip Flop Inn for a week. Overall, the location was fabulous with close proximity to the beach. The bedrooms were a great size, nice updated bathrooms and kitchen. The open floor plan made it conducive to family gatherings and meals. The booking and check in process were seamless. The negatives: while I appreciate that this rental is pet friendly, the unit was not cleaned well prior to our visit. There was large clumps of black dog hair on the floors, as well as food crumbs under the bar stools. The oven was not able to cook a meal, as it never met the appropriate temperature (the outdoors air temperature could cook food faster). The handle on the screen door kept falling off. My husband went to the store to get a set of Allen keys to repair it. The outdoor stairs are dangerously in need of repair. Furthermore, the outdoor ceiling fans did not work.

Nice place a block from the beach.

Nice place, great location. A few minor issues someone (owner?) Should see to it that appliances are working properly. Iron was missing. Toaster did not work. Dryer vent was completely clogged due to improper installation and so took aeveral cycles to dry.. R.E. agency responded promptly and made everything right. Despite these issues, we enjoyed he place.

Excellent Choice!!

Very convenient check in location with great customer service. The house was clean and met our expectations. After arrival, I did notice that the grill was missing however I called the next morning and the staff was very friendly and stated that they would get us a grill. We drove down to the local grocery store and was gone 30 - 45 minutes at most. Upon returning there was actually 2 grills (1- gas / 1- charcoal) in the carport area along with 2 very nice rocking chairs that were not there previously. I had read other reviews which mentioned the storm door and also a stoop. We did find that the storm door didn’t latch in which our pooch pushed against the door and escaped out to another dog which was being walked in the near vicinity. Coming down the stairs, there is a stoop and then another step down which leads to the carport as well as the outdoor shower. It is a very slight stepdown that isn’t marked which could be dangerous as I almost fell on 2 separate occasions (both at night). Other than that, everything met our expectations. We would definitely stay there again!

The house was great and as advertised!

We loved the house, as it was nice and updated. We couldn't help but notice, the property was not cleaned very well, as there were hairballs on the floor in living room and under TV stand, and the HVAC filter had 1/2" of gunk on it, which was whistling and not working properly. We changed the filter out, and it seemed to work fine. If the home was cleaned properly, we would have nothing to report. Close to beach, and included all amenities listed. We had fun!

The house was perfect and such a quick walk to the beach! Not the best if you’re looking to be close to shops and restaurants, you have to drive. But if you are looking to relax, the location is great!

Vacation

It was nice but had some issues- the refridgerator filter kept dinging because it needed replaced , the rocking chair under the deck was broken and we couldn’t use it and the picnic table bench was broken and not safe to sit on - also some of the pans to cook in were scratched and we couldn’t cook good in some of them because the food stuck to the pans/ liked the privacy and the neighbors were great !

Spoiled vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property we rented was nice, however the next door neighbor informed us of how the area is very prone to flood when storms come, and unfortunately a bad storm was due to start on the second night of out four day stay. I contacted to rental office to ask about this property and they acted as if they had no idea about the flooding issues. We decided on day two to avoid the issue all together and abandon our short vacation. I informed to rental office to see about possible compensation for the two days I would be loosing only to be told they would call me back, but they never did. So that was over $500 thrown to the wind. Make sure to ask questions ahead of time. Basically after the rental company is paid they are out of it in their eyes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The space was reasonably price and reflected such. It was close to the beach and there was ample outdoor space for entertaining. The appliances worked well and there was plenty of hot water for showers.I would have liked it better if the dryer could dry more than 2-3 towels at once, if the chain catch on the screen door wasn't missing (constant concern that the wind would slam it into the stairwell landing), if the transitional step between the main stairs and the step down was clearly marked (trip hazard), and if parking was more clearly marked.
