Wonderful cabin. Very clean, great view, lots of entertainment opportunities, great communication with host. Kitchen was very well stocked, but beds were not very comfortable

Beautiful cabin! Views were great! Only two things that were somewhat inconvenient. The Master Bedroom upstairs (aka loft) was not enclosed and has the only private bathroom. There were eight of us however we had to buy towels to have enough for bathing and hot tub! Still a great property and overall a nice stay! Location was perfectly located close to downtown and near Bear Claw Winery!

Beautiful views! Great location close to everything! Beds and couches are worn and uncomfortable. So many area rugs made it seem like they need to be cleaned or removed especially in the cooking area in kitchen. Host was lovely and responsive in handling problems. Just needs updating.

I can't say enough good things about this property. My family has enjoyed an annual weekend of whitewater rafting and staying in a mountain cabin for years, so we've stayed in many cabins. The unanimous opinion from the family is that this is our favorite. Here's a few reasons why: the property is a gaming family's paradise, with board games, an arcade machine, video games, a card table, corn hole, horseshoes, and more. The views are magnificent. The hot tub is large and accessible. The property is super pet-friendly (we have dogs). The cabin decor is exquisitely mountain cabin themed. And finally, the attention to detail: switches are labeled, bath robes are available in each bedroom, both a coffee maker and a Keurig, and every kitchen need is addressed. We will absolutely be coming back for our next annual event!

We had the best time at the cabin. Everything was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was very inviting. The views were spectacular. We could not have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be staying there again.

Mountaintop paradise

Wonderful property with ample space for our family of four. The views from the back deck are stunning at sunrise and sunset. The arcade game provided hours of entertainment for parents and kids. The firepit was so fun and gave us many new memories. Something to consider when booking is the time of year... Apparently mid-spring is when carpenter bees are active and can be a nuisance when trying to enjoy outdoor spaces during the day. But I don't think that's specific to this property, I think it's regional. Overall, our family had an amazing time and would definitely come here again.

The cabin is in a beautiful location with an amazing jacuzzi and game room for younger kids and adults. Near by lakes and waterfalls. Great family vacation and will definitely stay here again.

Family Time

We spent the weekend with our two grown children and their partners. This cabin worked out great for us. Each of us had our own space at night. Each of the three floors has a bedroom and bath. There was plenty of room for the seven of us. Yet it was still very cozy with a feeling of home.. The kitchen was very well stocked. There was so much to do at the cabin. We wished we had booked a few more days. The cabin was not very far from downtown Blue Ridge. We enjoyed spending the day there visiting all of the unique shops and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this property. The views were absolutely stunning. There were 3 couples and a baby and there was plenty of room for everyone. The only downside was that the outdoor fireplace was not working.

Perfect Getaway!

I visited Blue Ridge with my daughter and son-in-law and our dogs for a long weekend. We fell in love with this beautiful cabin and its surroundings. The location was quiet and private. The view was fabulous during the day and the deck was a great place to stargaze at night. The layout, with a bedroom and bath on each floor, worked well for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor game area. We only wished our stay could have been longer!

Gorgeous view!

This is a beautiful place located atop a mountain with a gorgeous view of the landscape. It's surrounded by wildlife, nature and all of its peaceful sounds. We really enjoyed the cabin theme of the house and had a lot of fun with the arcade, bar and game room. The fireplaces are a wonderful bonus along with the great recreation area outside. There are some hidden gems locally like the The Lily Pad, The Bigfoot Museum, The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant and CowgirlUp Horseback riding. We enjoyed our family time at the Mountaintop Getaway! Thank you for a fun week away!

Dream Cabin

Holy moly the views! This was our first time to Blue Ridge and we were just wow’ed as we kept driving up and up the mountain to this property. It’s the perfect amount of privacy with the most amazing views. Our 4 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son enjoyed everything the cabin had to offer. So many games and entertainment. All the details in the cabin really made it feel like we could live there forever. Our favorite parts of the cabin were watching the sunrise and sunset from the decks and hot tub. Our son just loved the wooden highchair as a bonus! We can’t wait to come back.

Great getaway!

Cabin is in a great location. Awesome view! Some of the furniture is a little out dated. Mattress in the bottom floor room is bad. Reports were that it was not good to sleep on as it was broken down. Love seat in the living room needs more support in the seat. This are minor items that did not take away from the fun stay that we had at the cabin. Love all of the fun outside amenities as well.

Throughout the year, our family has enjoyed vacationing because of the abundance of recreational activities like rafting, fishing, boating, and hiking. The pristine beauty of mountain landscapes, trails, scenic overlooks, and rivers make for the ultimate getaway.

You truly have to stay at the Mountaintop Getaway to appreciate all it has to offer!

After an exhaustive, one-year search we finally found the one. In 2002, we purchased the premium, private, secluded lot that sits on top of Sunrock Mountain. We subsequently brought in a master craftsman to build a truly custom cabin. We tried to spare no detail in furnishing the interior with upscale lodge rustic décor. The close proximity to the city of Blue Ridge and nearby recreational activities was an added bonus. Located just 75 miles from Atlanta, it is easy to see why Blue Ridge has become such a popular North Georgia travel destination.

The Mountaintop Getaway cabin is a luxurious retreat that offers a majestic, 70+ mile, year-round view of the Appalachian Mountains. The cabin is ideally situated in the heart of nature and tranquility on one of the most private lots on Sunrock Mountain. Again, the long-range view is simply breath-taking.

Mountaintop Getaway boasts a number of unique features like a therapeutic hot tub that sits under a covered gazebo with a surround sound stereo system, a 200+ movie DVD collection, an outdoor fire pit, a high-powered telescope for star gazing, large HD TVs on every level, iPod docking stations, Galaga/Ms Pacman Arcade game, exercise bike, and a wrap around bar in the basement. The cabin offers 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 full bed and baths, a screened porch with fireplace, a huge outdoor deck with a 9-foot stainless steel grill, Xbox game console, poker/card table, and fully-equipped kitchen.

The cabin is located next to an abundance of recreational activities like white water rafting on the Ocoee River (home of the 1996 Olympic White Water Rafting Competition), horseback riding, fishing, boating, hiking, canoeing, and golf to name just a few. Of course, you are allowed to simply “chill out” and escape city life by taking a nap in the hammock, enjoying the fresh mountain air on a rocking chair, or walking down a nature trail.

The cabin was professionally decorated with high-end furnishings and lots of attention was paid to details. The cabin went through extensive renovations in May, 2021. Pets are welcome (3 maximum). No smoking is allowed.
