Inbäddat på en avskild körning i hjärtat av Seneca sjön vinled är vår sjö hem vi kallar Herbst's Hideaway. Koppla av i denna luftkonditionerade 2300 kvm ft hem som bokstavligen är 10 fot från otrolig nivå lakeshore. Panoramautsikten är hisnande. Vi har också en 100 ft dockning som leder till en stor plattform som gör att du kan njuta av solen, bada och koppla av till ditt hjärta eller lyssna på musik från Russound Multiroom Entertainment System (Sirius Satellite Radio
och IPhone-docka - också i huvudhuset och varje sovrum). Använd paddelbåten eller 2 tandemkajaker för att rodda till badflotten. Njut av de fyra privata king size-sovrummen (två med badrum) och håll barnen tillsammans på de två uppsättningarna med våningssängar.

Great View, FANTASTIC property

This house was absolutely fabulous. Clean, large, scenic; right off the lake. Also, directly in the heart of NY wine country. A MUST stay!!

Great home on Seneca Lake

This was our fourth time staying at Herbst Hideaway and I'm sure we'll be back again. The house never disappoints! Communication with owner is easy and prompt. This is one of my all-time favorite VRBO homes!

Overall great place

Beautiful house right on the lake. View was gorgeous. House was clean, bedding was very comfortable, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. The only drawback was the drive into the property. We didn’t know it was 2 miles off the road on an unpaved road. That did not deter us. We still loved it and I still highly recommend it. We had a wonderful time with our family.

Weekend Getaway

The house was just as described! Beautiful, clean and very well stocked! We were able to enjoy the fire pit in the evening and our son got a little fishing in from the dock. This was a short weekend getaway for some of our family. We all would love to go back and spend more time enjoying the area and time at this lakefront home! Thank you !

Fourth Annual Stay at Herbst Hideaway

Our annual stay at this property is always a winner. The place is always clean and extremely well-stocked. The location is very central to all FLX activities. Our group of 4 couples begins to plan our next visit before we even check out! Highly recommend.

Family Vacation

The house provided our family with a bedroom for each of us. The kitchen was fully equipped to allow us to cook breakfast and dinner every day. The living area was adequate so we could gather to chat & play games. Sunrise was stunning!

Lovely Lake House

Look no further, you’ve stumbled upon the PERFECT house! This property is an absolute gem! The house is situated perfectly on the lake with the most stunning views. Plenty of space allows for individuals to spread out, but also enjoy time together in the common areas such as living room and perfect outdoor space. It was so nice to stay in a well-stocked house from the kitchen to the toys and water activity supplies.We found that this house and overall location has something to offer for everyone! This was certainly a vacation to remember where we were able to create wonderful memories in a beautiful place. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic Summer Stay!

My family and I had a fantastic time once again at this beautiful lake house! The location is right on beautiful Seneca Lake and is super close to the wineries/breweries. Matt was always available if we had questions and the house was very clean. We loved our stay!

Exceptional Stay: A Perfect Blend of Comfort, Convenience, and Surprises

Had a fantastic week. The house was excellent. Super clean and fully stocked with all amenities. The integrated sound system was a huge hit - and completely unexpected. Location mid-lake was ideal to explore breweries and wineries north and south. How cool are the Adirondack chairs on the dock with the wine glass holders!

THE BEST!

Over the last 6 years our family has been coming to the Finger Lakes and this has been the best vacation rental with a spectacular view of the lake. Matt greeted us upon arrival and showed us the property which was very helpful. Their comfortable home accommodated our family of 6 adults and 4 granddaughters perfectly with plenty of sleeping options and lots of space to hang out together. Matt & Julia have beautifully equipped their home with everything we needed. This is by far our cleanest vacation rental and even the bath towels were thick and soft. Outside there were plenty of kayaks for adults and even some for the children. We’ve already booked Matt & Julia’s place for next year’s family memories.

Finger Lakes vacation

I was impressed with our stay at Herbst’s Hidaway. The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen was full loaded with all that you would need. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Plenty of chairs inside and out. I would recommend this house to anyone and book this house again.

Wonderful!

This was the perfect place to get away for a long weekend with friends to celebrate 2 birthdays and an anniversary. The house was exactly as advertised and had everything!! From things to cook with to a ton of games, everything was thought out and was truly home away from home. Host was very responsive. Cannot think of 1 thing I would change!!

FLX Get Away

The property worked really well for our group. Plenty of space to spread out and spend time together. I loved doing yoga on the dock in the mornings. A beautiful place inside and out! Highly recommend.

Great hideaway

This house was wonderful. It was quiet with a wonderful view of the lake. It was central to many activities and we had a great time. It rained one day and we stayed in and played games and listen to music. What a great time.

Beautiful Lake House

We absolutely love this home, it provides everything you need plus some! The kitchen is a great size and allows us to all gather and cook for each other. Each bedroom is perfect for each couple and plenty of room for heavy packers. Two of the bedrooms have their own en suite. We stay annually and love it more and more. There were tree trimmers blocking the road on a weekday during normal working hours and we needed to wait for them to move (the driveway to the houses is one lane) but the workers were very nice-I told them I rent and they were able to move the tree trimmings and 2 large trucks in 5-10 mins. It wasn’t any trouble! We rent a van to drive us around on the weekends- we’ve never ran into any problems getting a van there. Walking distance (about a mile) to the Climbing Bines brewery. Beautiful view and area to walk around. Neighbors are really nice too!

Awesome getaway !!

The location of this house is perfectly set in the middle of the lake ! Close to wineries and right on the lake. We enjoyed the dock for morning coffee and just relaxing. We used the fire pit since our nights had a chilly breeze from the lake. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked. The beds are super comfortable. There is even a sound system throughout the house and outdoors with remote control. Matt responds quickly to any questions.

Great lakeside visit

This home is spotless, well-stocked and sized perfectly for our group of 4 couples. The view is fantastic and the location’s proximity to wineries and breweries is terrific. This was our 3rd annual trip to this property and we are already planning our return for year 4!
