This house was exactly what we hoped for. The host was responsive and easy to work with, the views were incredible, and everything was just as described. We had a great long weekend and would happily stay again.

Perfect for our family

This cottage was a perfectly cozy fit for our family. Absolutely loved our stay, and the sunset views were stunning. Everything we needed and more. Would stay again for sure!

Was very clean, and sound side view is amazing.Note there is no traditional dining table—just a kitchen island with high stools, which worked ok for us during breakfast and lunch but not so well for dinner time. One of the bed frame was bent and made the sleep uncomfortable.

Thanks for the review. Bed frames are not bent; they sit flat on the floor. Marc entered the property before check in after I told him not to. Marc did not put garbage cans back where they belong when checking out. He was also messing with the cameras on the property. Everything is on the website so Marc knew what the house was like before renting it. Don't rent to Marc.

wonderful sunset cottage!

our stay here was so lovely, the house was stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly need! the location was perfect and allowed for such relaxation, very clean. the check in process was so simple and the owner’s were so reachable!! would definitely stay here again had so much fun!

Sunsets on the Outer Banks

Very nice and cozy home away from home right on the sound. House is very clean, neat, comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing stay at the beach. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the large back deck.

This was such a quiet and serene spot for an end-of-summer family beach getaway. We enjoyed playing in the water behind the property. We used both kayaks and the paddleboard. The kids loved the sandbox under the house when it rained. This is the perfect spot for a variety of ages to enjoy.

Great location on the sound. Well decorated and equipped with everything you need. Only downside was the one bathroom. Might be an issue for more than four people. Would definitely stay again.

A Smooth and Charming Stay

An excellent VRBO vacation, the site was as described and the check in / check out process was smooth. My party and I enjoyed our time here and would definitely visit again. We enjoyed our a convenient access to local establishments and peaceful residential neighborhood. Fishing in the sound was very exciting, as well as driving on the beach with an ORV pass.

Perfect beach house. Updated interior a big plus with comfy couches for family movie night. 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. Kitchen and living room well laid out. The deck overlooking bay makes for relaxing sunsets. Kitchen well stocked for cooking, with Food Lion and Sunrise Seafood Store conveniently nearby.

Great place for family

We had a great stay! One small hiccup - the electric lock stopped working and we were locked out for a short time. The finished area with the sandbox downstairs was a huge hit with the littles!! The backyard is large, the water isn’t very accessible for little ones, but there is a day use beach about 5 miles from the house. Very nice home and very comfortable.

Very Nice!

Very clean, cute and comfortable for our family of 5. We enjoyed playing in the sound (fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding), the morning views, and the amazing sunsets. We rented bikes and a golf cart to get to to the beach and back each day.
