Vacker stuga nära Blowing Rock and Boone! Nyrenoverat!

Nyrenoverad i augusti 2017! Avslutad i november 2009, denna energieffektiva timmerstuga, med namnet Mt. Sinai, är den bergsupplevelse du har väntat på. Njut av en eftermiddag som gungat på den täckta verandan medan du har utsikt över böljande kullar med kor och en röd ladugård. Det här är en lugn vy som du inte vill lämna.

Väl inne i dig kommer du att bli kär i den rymliga kabinen på 1900 kvadratmeter. Det stora rummet är mer än tillräckligt för att rymma vänner och familj medan du samlas runt spisen och berättar din dag i bergen, eller krulla upp med en bra bok och titta på den spektakulära solnedgången över åsen.

Köket har apparater i rostfritt stål, bänkskivor i granit, bambusgolv och är välutrustade för varje måltid som ska förbereds. På bottenvåningen hittar du ett (1) sovrum med en dubbelsäng och 1 ½ bad. På övervåningen hittar du två (2) sovrum (ett med en dubbelsäng och det andra med två våningssängar) och ett (1) badrum. Alla badrum har keramiska golv och båda badrummen har dubbla dusch / badkar.

Den uppvärmda källaren har precis blivit vackert klar i augusti 2017 med bergens tallväggar och tak! Det finns en queen size-säng i sovrummet, en queen size-säng och dubbelsäng i vardagsrummet, tillsammans med en soffa. Sju ytterligare personer kan sova nere för att rymma totalt 14 gäster. Ett nytt badrum lades till i källaren med duschkabin. Ny kylskåp ny TV och matbord finns också i källaren för massor av familjens kul. Det är en fantastisk plats för tonåringar att umgås.

Utanför kan du svänga på eftermiddagen när du sitter på den täckta verandans 6 fot långa träsving och lyssna på Tweetsie Railroad-visselpipa i fjärran. Du kan till och med steka marshmallows och göra s'mores över den utomhus eldstaden när du och dina nära och kära sitter på rustika trästubbar och stenar. Under vintermånaderna kan du se ljus och sluttningar av Appalachian Ski Mountain, precis över berget.

Mt. Sinai Cabin ligger 1 mil från Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 miles till Appalachian Ski Mountain, 28 miles till Beech Mountain, 20 miles till Sugar Mountain, 7 miles till Downtown Boone och Appalachian State University, 12 miles till Downtown Blowing Rock, bara 1 85 miles till Samaritan's Purse och mindre än 10 miles till WestGlow Spa and Resort.

Sinai-berget är också medlem i Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is very cozy and great for entertaining with a large deck, nice size kitchen and comfy living room. The views are exquisite off of the deck or pretty much anywhere in the house. A definite must stay if you are in the area!

The house is lovely and the drive to it is gorgeous. The house was well stocked with supplies and everything you need in the kitchen. We would stay here again.

Mount Sinai Stay

I didn’t stay in the house. We were there for a family reunion. Three of our daughter stayed there with two in-laws and 7 grandchildren. Total 12 people. The rest of us stayed at another Vrbo. It was a great gathering place for us when using the outside. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

Cozy home

We spent Thanksgiving 2024 at this home. The house had plenty of beds and rooms for 6 of us and kept us nice and warm when it snowed and was 12 degrees outside! We thought we would have more people but we were a small group of 6 this time. We really enjoyed the fire place. The home was clean with everything we needed except adequate pots and pans. I am so grateful I had most of my Thanksgiving meal catered because if not, there would be no way for me to adequately cook a meal for just 6 people. I would recommend bringing your own cookware. There were only 3 pots and pans so we did a lot of cooking, transferring, cleaning and cooking another item. Also my only other complaint is we were locked out of the house because the doors do not have deadbolts, only twist locks so when you lock from inside, you can still open door. We went to unload car and found ourselves locked out. The property manager was excellent and told us where spare key was!! Later while reading notes about house, it states what to do if and when this happens so it must be a regular problem. I would stay here again but would bring pots, sharp knives and remember to keep key in key lock outside just in case.

Overall a Nice Trip, But Understand What You're Getting

First the pros: there are a lot of beds and you could fit a lot of people in here! (We had just a small group, though.) It's centrally located, about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 12 minutes from Boone restaurants and grocery stores. The hosts certainly seemed well intentioned and provided dishwasher detergent, soap and a fresh sponge. Thank you! The cons: I'm sorry to write that it felt damp and musty. The cabinets and tile floors were sticky. The headline of the property was "Newly Renovated!" But in the middle of the listing, it says the basement. You might skip over this if reading quickly. Along that same lines, the description read: "Enjoy an afternoon spent rocking on the covered porch, while overlooking rolling hills featuring cows and a red barn. This is a serene view you won’t want to leave." You cannot see the said hills or cows. There are of trees all along the front and back of the house and are quite thick. Trees are nice in their own way. Just don't expect expansive views (or light) from the porch. Also, it was hard to find a place to store groceries or luggage. Kitchen cabinets and drawer were jam packed and surfaces elsewhere had tchotchkes on them. Overall, I would recommend this place, but just know what you're getting.

Hi Kay, Thank you for the review. The trees have leaves on them in the summertime, so the view is still there, just from the driveway, not the porch. The other eight months of the year you can see beautifully from the porch. We are pleased to have well-stocked cabinets for our guests with any sized plate, pot, platter or appliance you'll need in an organized fashion. Holiday Getaway

The cabin was exactly as described. Loved having 3 floors, each with a full bath, plus a 1/2 bath on the main level. Kitchen was well-equipped with plates and utensils, a little short on glasses but we managed. The porch was nice and sunny on the cold afternoons, the drive to Boone and/or Blowing Rock was quick and easy. Great location! Would definitely stay here again.

Great experience at this lovely cabin

We spent a long weekend at this cabin with family for a special occasion. By far, this is the most well stocked and appointed cabin we have ever rented. The downstairs area was perfect for our infant granddaughter's needs and there was plenty of space for everyone. The porch was well used and we enjoyed watching it rain from the comfort of the swing and many porch chairs. Beautiful and quiet area.

Great family get away!

Perfect for our family to get together and enjoy a long weekend in the mountains. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Our first time using VBRO, but not our last! We hope to use this same property again!

Birthday Getaway

Our Family stay at Mt Siani

We had a wonderful family time at Mt Sinai. We enjoyed the view. The cabin was beautiful and very well kept. The necessary home items was appreciated as the crock pot, we cooked chili on cool rainy day. It rained 3 out of the 4 days we were there. So the big porch was wonderful so we could sit outside and enjoy the view even in the rain. Thank you very much and we will do this again. The Tanner Family.

Perfect 50 birthday weekends

It was 3 couples and my small dog. Each of the couple's had a own floor with bedroom and bathroom. Nice porch to hang out and fire place to gather. Dishes and kitchen well stuffed. Thank you. Oh yes great location.

Great family vacay!

Close to everything and it provided space for us to gather & spaces for privacy/quiet time. Would have received 5 stars had ac worked properly. Luckily the weather was mild. Would definitely stay again.

Boone - Family Trip

Mt. Sinai cabin is very beautiful and clean as advertised. We visited here from Orlando, FL during Christmas week with family and friends. All of us enjoyed the stay and had enough room for everyone. The location is awesome and very close to all major attractions especially the Apalachiean Ski Mountain. We enjoyed the camp fire in the firepit outside. We love to visti here again. Thank you Mt.Sinai.

familyn gathering at Mt. Sinai Cabin

Nice property in convenient location. Lots of beds and bathrooms. This cabin has 2 common areas for gathering and spending time together. It would have worked better for us, if there was a larger space for everyone to hang out. The kitchen is small but adequate . We did lots of cooking and could have used more space. Overall it is a good house for lots of family to get together.
