Great location! Could use a little TLC.

Excellent location near Jim Thorpe, rafting and state parks. For our family vacation with adult children and some young grandchildren the house was large enough for us all to sleep and had an excellent pool, fire pit and hot tub which we got a lot of use out of! AC worked well and house was comfortable during hot days. The kitchen was well equipped which was helpful since we mostly dined in. The main drawbacks were that the interior was a bit dated and suffered from some maintenance issues (some leaking plumbing, lowish water pressure) and one cleanliness issue (food item left behind from a prior renter, with ants). Game room equipment (pool table, air hockey table, ping pong paddles) were dated which was a disappointment. Exterior of house was pretty nice, but while the grass was mowed, it wasn't trimmed which resulted in a messy appearance and inconvenient for use for things like the picnic tables and children's play set. We did inform the owner of this and they quickly had someone trim a few items that most affected us. Overall we had a great time there, and we communicated the maintenance issues to the owners so they hopefully can resolve them for future guests.

Clean and family friendly

Our overall stay was good. The property was clean and neatly setup. Property manager was quick to respond and was very helpful. Will definitely come back.

Golf Trip

Went on a weekend golf trip with some friends, close to a few courses…hot tub and pool area was great for a large group of guys…easily accessible check in process and plenty of space

Family ski trip

The house was great. More than enough space for the 12 family members. The open kitchen and large dining table allowed everyone to sit together as a family for dinners.

Great for skiing weekends

Perfect for our group of 9 adults and 5 kids. Perfect location for 2 days of skiing at Jack Frost. Went hiking to hawk falls and then drove to bolder field on our way home. House was perfect for sleeping and preparing meals. Game room was great. House was very clean. Will definitely rent again next year

Just Perfect!

The house was both comfortable and immaculate and the grounds and pool / hot tub were well maintained and simply wonderful! Our little four-day family escape in the beautiful Pocono mountain was very delightful and restorative. Highly recommend for any family who enjoys private pool / poolside time together. This would also be a great spot for family reunion or a group of friends to enjoy some R&R time together.

A perfect retreat!

What an amazing place!! Spacious, cozy, modern, clean. So many bedrooms with king size beds. The heated pool, hot tub and sauna were perfect. Outdoor space is incredible-- fields of grass, soccer and volleyball. Basement has 5 game tables, so after dark no need to go to any arcades, with pool table and ping pong and Foosball. Great wifi. Close to rafting, hiking, parks. Was truly perfect.

Family get-away

Beautiful house near a lot of local attractions. Family had a great time and was kept busy on the rainy day with the games in the basement. Only bit of constructive criticism would be there were a lot of cigarette butts left in the rocks off the deck and the table on the deck itself was extremely unstable/wobbly... went to buy an allen-wrench to tighten up the screws but they were all stripped, so we had to be extremely careful not to bump the table. All and all it was a good trip with family and I'd stay again.

Would Stay Again.

We would definitely stay at this beautiful property again. The house was not as large as made to believe in the photos and is also closer to the road than it appears in photos. However, the size of the Outdoor property more than makes up for it. The activities that were provided such as the swimming pool, hot tub volleyball net soccer nets were all a big hit plus the game room in the basement. Any questions or concerns we had were responded to immediately. All in all I think this home is definitely worth staying at & would again!! ~ Amy

Wonderful getaway

The house is super clean and comfortable. Big rooms with king size beds, spacious living room, kitchen and dining. Amazing game room in the basement, with poker table, ping-pong, air hockey and billiard. Jacuzzi and sauna outside looks brand new and clean. Huge pool outside as well. There was a few issues like stairs and doors are making loud squeaky noise, propane tank was empty and there is no blankets, beside the one in the bedrooms. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing house!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 15 people. It was big enough for everyone, the bedrooms are big and specious. The game room was super fun and there are plenty of games for everyone. The most beautiful part of the house is the back yard! All green and isolated, bbq station and big hot tub and heated pool that was absolutely fun! Hickory State Park minutes away with plenty of hiking beautiful waterfalls and lakes. The owner was super responsive, we got reply within minutes when we had any questions. We had the best time and totally would recommend this house for large groups!

Great home for family reunions

This house was great. Two refrigerators to hold al the food you need. Plenty of pantry space for your other goods. A basement full of games that had the kids (and adults) hoot for joy. The hot tub and sauna were very enjoyable--even when it was snowing ( we got about 1/2-1 inch). The kids didn't even mind running barefoot thru the snow to the hot tub! The beds were all comfortable. It was nice to have a fire in the fireplace in the living room--made the whole house feel cozy. We loved the location. The owners were VERY prompt in answering any questions we had. I can't wait to rent this house again!

Great Family Time

Our group of 9 adults gathered here for five days to celebrate my mother’s 80th birthday. It was great. The house was clean and had great amenities and supplies. We spent most of our time just relaxing by the pool in the private backyard. The house included corn hole, badminton, and volleyball in addition to all the great indoor games in the basement. Kitchen appliances and washer/dryer look new and clean. Second fridge was great for beverages. Fitted sheets and blankets are provided but no top sheets so I recommend bringing those. Bed pillows weren’t great, so bring those, too, if you need a good pillow. There are no dressers in the bedrooms and the closets don’t have rods so you sort of have to hang your clothes on a shelf (bring hangers!). Overall we had a nice stay and it worked well for our group.

Family vacation

Property was nice. Pool, hot tub and sauna were enjoyed by all. The volleyball and soccer set up, and fire pit as well as the play ground area were an added bonus. Very convenient location to Hickory State Park. Lots of hiking trails for all skill levels. Game room was a very nice addition for rainy days. We found the amenities lacking. Towels,(1 per person) no hand towels and/or face cloths. Gas grill needs to be updated. We purchased charcoal for the other small grill provided. Questioning the cleanliness when we found food left in one of the night stands along with other personal items ( nothing we brought with us) This was a very nice meeting place for three separate families to get together. Pet friendly was a big plus.

unfair charges rubbish

Very unpleasant experience, they charged us $500 only for two tables, the damage was not serious, the tables could be removed while they were being cleaned, it was something very unfair. I do not recommend this house at all. Read my review before putting it aside, believe me, because of the minimum damage they will receive a charge if possible of $1000 and for no reason something for the house was left in perfect condition as they delivered it so we left it, the stains on the tables with cleaning if they remove a piece of crap from unfair charges, and the house has nothing pretty, a total deception in the photographs
