If you are looking for a one level, luxury lake house in Connestee Falls, Brevard with the best lake views in the area, look no further. Lake Tranquility lives up to its name. A mountain home in the resort community of Connestee Falls on a private 1 acre wooded peninsula with lake views everywhere. One level living with easy access to the dock on the lake behind the property.

There are 3 bedrooms plus a bonus room with one bunkbed that are perfect for the kids or grandkids. There is also a sleeper sofa. The house sleeps 8 in beds (plus the queen size sleeper sofa) with 3 full bathrooms on a lakefront peninsula lot with a park like setting and lake views. This home has a large deck for entertaining. Wake up to lake views in the large king master. 2 guest rooms with 1 queen bed and 1 king bed. The large bonus room has a ping pong table. There is a nice dock with a stand up paddleboard (SUP) and 2 kayaks to relax and enjoy the lake. There is an additional secluded private dock for fishing on the side of the property. This lakefront home will set the mood for relaxing in the mountains.

We are pet friendly. Up to 2 well behaved dogs (no puppies) are permitted with prior approval and $175 pet fee. Sorry, no cats allowed. There is both a regular coffee maker and Keurig. There is a propane gas grill.

The home sits in the gated community of Connestee Falls in Brevard, NC with 24/7 security, championship mountain golf course and clubhouse, large olympic size swimming pool, tennis, pickleball, lake with a beach and non-motorized boat access and hiking trails. The amenities are just a short 10-15 minute drive from the home. Nearby access to magnificent waterfalls in Dupont Forrest and Pisgah Forest. Short drive to Brevard’s shops, restaurants & festivals, 15 minute drive. 45 minute drive from downtown Asheville and the Biltmore Estate.

Connestee Falls is a place of breathtaking beauty featuring signature waterfalls, four mountain lakes, an 18-hole championship golf course, grand clubhouse with dining, 13 miles of private hiking trails, a large heated pool, tennis & pickleball courts, and beautiful mountain views.

The quaint mountain town of Brevard is 15 minutes with nice shops and restaurants. Nearby attractions include Dupont State Park, Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway, Sliding Rock and Cradle of Forestry all within 30 minutes. Flatrock Playhouse, Hendersonville and Asheville are within 45 minutes. There are many nearby scenic drives to waterfalls and beautiful mountain views as well as charming mountain towns.

Tranquility is just the start....

We absolutely loved this home! Celebrated two birthdays here with family and the house accommodated us all wonderfully. The kitchen and eating area is perfect for a larger group to gather and connect. The location of the home on the lake is ideal and the home itself is beautiful - well maintained (even updated with a new Master Bath!) and very well stocked with all that you need for an enjoyable stay. Every morning we watched the sunrise from either the deck overlooking the lake or from right inside in the two reclining chairs overlooking the lake. What an amazing way to start the day! Rick and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Very communicative and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed during our stay. We will definitely return!!

My family has been visiting the Brevard area for 14 years and our stay at Lake Tranquility was by far the best. Rick provided everything we needed from the time of booking to check out. The location can’t be beat and the house is beautiful and well equipped.

Peaceful

This was our second time staying at the property and it was just as we remembered. The lake view from the living room is what called us back. Loved the location and all the amenities that Connestee Falls had to offer. Quaint downtown Brevard was only 15 min away for some great shopping and dining. Communication was great with the hosts leading up to the trip! Would highly recommend if you’re wanting a peaceful relaxing vacation! I’m sure we will be back again in the future.

Perfect fishing spot and extremely clean

Had a wonderful time catching fish off the 2 docks, using the paddle board and cooking in the well stocked kitchen! Beautiful windows to view the lake and landscaping. Great neighborhood and enjoyed hiking as well as the pool. Comfortable beds and incredible stars at night. Felt at home and our young kids enjoyed the bunk beds and playroom games.

A Little Slice of Paradise

We came together for a siblings get together. Upon arrival, we knew right then this was the best place we could have reserved. This dwelling was so peaceful and serene we found it hard to venture out. Most of our afternoons were spent on the expansive porch sipping our cocktail of the day gazing at the beautiful lake. We decided on our final day that this is the place we will hopefully return next year. Thank you Margaret and Rick for sharing your lovely home with us!

Beautiful Mountain Vacation

This house and view was amazing! Right on the lake. Everyone enjoyed swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. Great hikes in the community and an awesome golf course. The house is beautiful and has everything you need! I highly recommend this property!!

Exceeded all expectations!

You might look at the listing and think, "yeah, but what does it really look like?" I promise you that somehow, the pictures almost undersell this property. This is a stunning home in a fairytale setting. The landscaping is meticulous. The amount of work that goes into the terracing and planting and maintenance has to be enormous. There are steps that take you anywhere on the property you need to go. The water access is ideal. We brought an inflatable boat with trolling motor. Inflation was easy since they have a power outlet on the dock! You walk past a running fountain and under a small gazebo to get to the water, all of which feels very private. The house itself is beautiful. There is natural light in every room, and the furnishings are high quality. The dinnerware and cookware are top notch. They provide so many things to make your stay easier. I brought my own sheets and pillows because I've stayed at too many places with scratchy sheets (or no sheets) and uncomfortable pillows. Everything the homeowner provided was terrific! From beginning to end, there is nothing that could have made this stay better. The owners are great communicators and incredibly helpful. You will love your stay here!

Amazing getaway on a lake

Our group of four adults and two kids had an amazing time here. The house was clean and spacious. The property is on a small lake which was perfect for swimming and kayaking. Communication with the owner was excellent. We hope to return next summer!

Just what my family needed.

My family enjoyed relaxing in this very comfortable home on the lake. The owners provided everything we could possibility need during our stay. Our teens loved the playroom and all the games available. My husband loved fishing of the muliple docks and I enjoyed the serene views while reading. This properly is surrounded by nature at its finest and lots of activities available. Just a short trip to town for some local treats and small town shopping. I highly reccomend!

Gem on the Lake

Beautiful, updated, spacious home at an ideal spot on the lake. Incredible views from every vantage point, and fun around every corner. Perfect home for kayaking and stargazing from the backyard dock, and indoor pingpong on a rainy afternoon.

Paradise in the mountains

Home beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Stocked with everything you would want in a home. Enjoyed fishing (caught 108 bass and 5 catfish in the 6 weeks we were there). Everyone enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding in the lake. Restaurants were good and found a great pottery shop on the way into town! The owners, Margaret and Rick, could not have been any nicer and very accommodating to all our questions. This was one of the best rentals we have had!!
