*****Beach Nourishment Update*****
The beach nourishment project is currently taking place in the area. Some beach access points may be temporarily closed, but the beach is still open and available for you to enjoy.

Bella Vita is a small 4 condo complex that sits directly on the beach in the heart of Indian Shores. All units have recently been updated with brand new living room furniture which includes a queen sofa sleeper.

This complex does not have a pool, but the Gulf of Mexico is so close you can taste the salt in the air. Bring the whole family and the dog (1 dog per unit) (20lb weight limit) to this 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage that can accommodate 4 guests comfortably. This unit has a partial Gulf view.

Bella 8 is on the 2nd floor and has a partial beach view from the balcony. The bedroom has a queen bed and sits adjacent to the full size bathroom that offers a tub/shower combo.
A separate shared laundry room is available for added convenience. The large kitchen with a breakfast bar overlooks the living area and has everything you might need to cook your favorite meal in or your catch of the day.

The complex is close to many local restaurants and shopping in the area. Clearwater Beach is located a short distance to the North and John's Pass in Madeira Beach is a short distance to the South. Both places are a great place to spend the day sightseeing and have an abundance of specialty stores to shop until you drop in.

Bella Vita is a great place to host your family reunion!

Arrival Instructions: Once your booking has been finalized, we will email you our contact information and specific instructions for pick up keys at our local office. Be sure to check your SPAM folder for our emails.

Self-Catering: The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with enough basics to get you going for the first night. The kitchen is equipped with cooking essentials. Fresh bed linens and bath towels are provided. The complex is equipped with a community washer/dryer. . At the end of your stay, wash and put away any dishes, empty the fridge and cupboards and take the trash out to the bins before you leave. A minimum charge of $300 will apply for missing linens and/or housekeeping services that exceed normal use. A minimum charge of $1,000 will apply for smoking in the property.

Transportation: The unit is located approximately 20 miles from Tampa International Airport, and 12 miles from St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport. Ground transportation is available through ridesharing services. Getting around Pinellas barrier-island beach towns is inexpensive, fun, easy, and convenient when you take advantage of the Pinellas Suncoast Beach Trolley (PSTA) service. The Suncoast Beach Trolley runs from Clearwater Beach (north) to Pass-A-Grille (south) and stops at specially marked "Trolley Stop" locations along the entire Gulf Blvd route.

Pet Policy: Dogs only are permitted in this vacation rental and must be arranged in advance. Any unapproved pet is prohibited and could result in eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. You are solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by your pet. . Only 1 dog permitted and must not weigh over 20lbs. is acceptable with a $150 non-refundable pet fee.

Accidental Damage Protection: INSURANCE as listed in Homeaway/-- "other charges" will cover up to $3,000 of unintentional damage to the rental unit that occurs during your stay. Intentional damage of damage that exceeds the maximum will be charged to the credit card on file. In lieu of the insurance a $3,000 damage deposit will be required upon final payment.

Great location and great stay!

Our family of 4 stayed at Bella Vita 8 during spring break 2025. The location was great! The ocean is literally 200 yds from our door. We had a great view of the ocean sitting on our deck. There is another unit in front of unit 8 that blocks the 100% view of the ocean, but we were pleased with what we could see. I don't think it's fair to say this has a "den/office." There was a very small table with 2 chairs if that's what is considered "den/office."All of the kitchen amenities were spot on. We didn't cook, but we took inventory of what was available in case we wanted to make a meal one night while there. I wish there were more kitchen towels to start the week with though.No issues with the bathroom. The shower head has great pressure. There were no amenities provided in the shower. There was no body soap, no shampoo/no conditioner, and no bar soap for washing hands provided. This should be clearly noted.The master bed was quite comfy. Thank you for providing so many hangers. Since there was only a small dresser to put our clothes in, we utilized the closet a lot. There was no place for my children to put their clothes though. It would be great if there was one more dresser for those sleeping on the couch to place their belongings in.I am grateful for the laundry facility. I was able to travel home with all clean clothes and that is a blessing!Would we stay again? Absolutely!

Quaint Space

This property was convenient to the beach, literally steps away! There were several places to eat and things to do within walking distance. My husband and I found the kitchen well equipped with everything you need to make a complete meal. We were a little bummed to find out that there is not a BBQ grill on site, but we made do. All in all it was a great trip and we look forward to bringing family with us next time!

Four Day Getaway

The property was older but tastefully updated. Great walks along the beach, Great view of the beach, many restaurants in reasonable driving distance. Although not many shops within a mile, those that are there were nice and well stocked. We would stay again.

As promised and pictured.

The description and pictures were very accurate. They called it a partial view, but I enjoyed it almost as a full view. There’s a cabin in front of you but you have an alley to watch the ocean. 50 yards to the beach independent on Tahid maybe a little longer to the water. The only negative for me which is not their fault was the dogs are not allowed past the Sand dunes so I couldn’t bring them on the beach. The restaurant across the street salt stone I believe it’s the name is outstanding a little bit expensive, but I gave it 4 to 4 1/2 stars Cleaning people were wonderful and helpful and neighbors were friendly

Great place on the beach

This place was nice. Great location & beautiful beach view from our deck. It was clean & came with everything we needed for a week’s stay. We were even able to switch out our used towels for fresh ones a few days into our trip. The cleaning ladies who were getting the unit next to us ready for new guests made sure to ask us if there was anything we needed. The kitchen had plenty of pots & pans to cook with, along with spices, etc. We would definitely book here again.

Not a comfortable place

Dishes were dirty in cabinets. Door knob/lock rusted. Wifi didn't work. Couch and bed not comfortable. Have to constantly open and close a gate to get to beach. Have to keep a key on you at all times. Poor experience with the place.

Run down place

Great location, kitchen was good size, but not well stocked with utensils (if you plan to cook). The entry door and windows are well past needing replaced. You can see light through the gaps and they leak water inside during rain. One side of the door is full of water condensation and you can’t really enjoy the beach view you paid for. Not what we expected at this price.

Nice spot with great beach access

Overall our experience at this property was great. The unit was clean and check-in was a breeze. The location is close to grocery stores and restaurants that are not walking distance are only a short car ride away. We booked this property the month prior, so for such a short turnaround, it meet our needs perfectly.

Beautiful and secluded beach.

The location is perfect for walking to the beach every morning. Your vies really depends on which unit you are in. We were in an upstairs unit. We didn’t have a straight view of the beach but we could see it while sitting on the deck. Perfect unit for two people. Everything seemed updated. New stainless appliances too. I was worried the traffic noise would be loud in the bedroom but you couldn’t even hear it. No beach chairs or umbrellas. No place to rent then nearby either. Great value for the price!

Great beach front!

This was a nice vacation spot! It was not crowded as other locations are on spring break. We did have a late arrival and could not find the keys and did not have any bedding for the pull-out bed that we needed. Those were the only problems and they were resolved by management.

Nice villa and view

Our stay was good, our sunset view was great, however, the unit lacked cleaning. The grout on the bathroom floor was black and awful and there were dirty hand prints on all doors and switch plates. In light of COVID, we expected more. In previous experiences, owners have gone the extra mile to mention extra sanitary practices in place to protect their renters, so it was different to arrive at a unit that needed a good scrub. The unit was very comfortable and bright and the bed was perfect, however, there was no cable service in the second TV in the bedroom and simple things like light bulbs were out in the bathroom. The AC was great! We were also a bit surprised at the lack of privacy as we could hear our neighbor's cell phone on vibrate from the unit next door. What upset us the most is that the unit was listed at $89 per night. After all the fees that were tacked on, we paid well over $170 per night. On top of this, we were charged an additional $70 plus for insurance! A total misrepresentation of the $89 listing.

Cute rental

This property is a cute little rental. It is not appropriate for 4 people as the living area is very small and there is only the sofa, which unfortunately is uncomfortable, to sit on. But we loved the full kitchen, the large vanity in the bath, the bed was comfy, the linens and towels were nice . There is even a new laundry that was a nice surprise. The photos are accurate and you do have an ocean view, but I didn't realize that there are two units in front to the left that block this one from having a panoramic view. The beach is gorgeous and virtually private. The property managers are very accommodating. Bring your own beach towels and chairs as there are none in the unit.
