The Cabin at Little Bee Woods was completed in December of 2022, and we are excited to welcome our guests to this modern and comfortable cottage and grounds. The cabin has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms that sleeps eight guests. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed with a twin, and the secondary bedroom has a queen and a twin. The living room has a convertible, yet comfortable, sofa to accommodate additional guests. The great room has an open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen, a large dining table, and a living room with a flat-screen TV. The entryway to the cottage is a two hundred square foot timber frame screened-in porch with a table perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail while watching the sunset over Watch Knob. We are the ideal spot for a romantic getaway, family vacation, couples vacation, or micro-events. Black Mountain is fifteen minutes door-to-door, and Asheville is twenty-five minutes. Come on up and relax in the Swannanoa Valley.

Book The Stay!

We just got home from a four night stay and already can’t wait to go back! Sipping coffee on the screened in porch, looking at the stars while in the hot tub, and enjoying all the local spots was the perfect way to relax and reconnect. I also booked a massage with the massage therapist the owner suggested and she came to the house and set up the table on the porch. 10/10 experience all around!

Little Bee Woods!

Little Bee Woods was a perfect couple’s get away. The house was so lovely and spacious, we wished we invited more friends to enjoy! The home had everything you needed and more- from espresso machine to hot tub and everything in between. The view was amazing and we were so happy that it was dog friendly. Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us!

Anniversary Weekend

A perfect paradise tucked away in the NC mountains. It was spacious, clean and most importantly well stocked with most of the everyday kitchen items. The owner checked up on us several times and made sure all our needs were met. We maintained our privacy throughout the stay. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again.

2 nights in Little Bee Wooda

Due to a change of plans this was a last minute booking. The house was lovey, lots of light and space. The decoration and fittings were perfect for a restful evening after driving along and exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway. The kitchen was fitted out with everything you could possibly need. We would not hesitate to return hopefully for a little longer next time.

Great home in the mountains! Within 20 mins to Asheville. Top of the line appliances, cookware and dishes. Modern spacious home for guess. The porch is the place! Enjoy the fresh air and nature. Love the hot tub and the hosts cannot do enough for you! Thank you!!!!!

Lovely mountain retreat convenient to Asheville

This gem of a mountain retreat well deserves its 5-star rating! It is a beautiful, new structure with all the amenities you could ask for, with an ideal layout for 2 couples. By far the favorite part is the screened in porch overlooking the mountains — perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We even saw a bear stroll by (we were safely ensconced on the porch). Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, with easy access to all of the outdoor activities you might want to enjoy in the area. Do be aware that the house is perched atop a mountain accessed via a steep gravel road with a few hairpin turns — best to arrive during daylight the first time.

Quiet, secluded getaway

This property is one of the better ones we've rented for family vacations and it's exactly as advertised. If you're looking for a quiet place to wind down and watch the sunset through the trees from a cozy screened-in porch after exploring the greater Asheville area, then this is for you. The house has everything you need for a comfy stay, including a relaxing hot tub.

Peaceful secluded little spot in the mountains

We absolutely loved our stay here. Charles was wonderful and easy going to work with. The surroundings were exactly what we were hoping for, the cabin clean, cute, yet spacious. I don't think there is anything he forgot to supply the kitchen with. We spent several mornings and evenings out on the porch enjoying the view and nature watching. We highly recommend!

Minimoon at little bee

We had an excellent stay a very new home on the mountain. Kitchen was great to use, grilling outside was very nice, and the hottub with the stars tied it all together! Highly recommend for couples or a family, there was more than enough room for groups!

Girl’s Weekend

We had such a wonderful time! Charles communicated with us before, during, and after our stay to ensure that we were well taken care of. The cabin was beautiful, and the screened in porch provides excellent views of the mountain and a relaxing place to lounge after a long day exploring Asheville. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing and Peaceful

Man! We couldn’t say more about this place and the property owner. A little peace of heaven tucked up into the mountains with all the amenities any one wanting a get away could need. Our time here was relaxing and so peaceful. We would highly recommend staying here. From the communication, to the check in/out process, and the thoughtfulness of the property and house makes this a wonderful stay. Can’t want to go back!

Beautiful Cabin nestled in the woods

Took a long weekend Spring Break trip with our family (and dogs) and had an absolutely wonderful trip. Charles was a great host. He had the place looking pristine for us and was very attentive and available via text whenever I asked for recommendation, or had a question about the house. The kitchen is incredible and the various methods to prepare coffee was something that really stood out to us. Can't wait to come back and enjoy this cabin again. Nestled perfectly between Black Mountain and Asheville, accessing either town was a breeze! Can not recommend this cabin enough!

Birthday trip

Our stay at Little Bee Woods was awesome! I like to cook when I go on getaways and this rental has more than what you need to cook any dish. The place was clean upon arrival and the host was very personable. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the mountains.

PA School Friend Getaway

My friends and I stayed here during our holiday break from PA school & absolutely LOVED our experience. Little Bee Woods is the perfect place for privacy & relaxation. We even got to see a few black bears off of the front porch one morning. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked & they even had some games for us to play while we were there. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near Asheville for a getaway.

Little Bee gets an A!

This is a lovely property. Everything was exactly as the listing said it would be and more. The house was beautifully designed and curated. Completely charming and a perfect getaway. Charles was easy to connect with and totally attentive to any requests and questions. It was a great space for just my husband and me, but would also be great for our family as well with two bedrooms and plenty of sleeping spots. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again!
