Perfect for someone looking to commute with AC transit (2 blocks away) and Ashby Bart which will take you to San Francisco in a less than 20 minutes. The backyard is intimate and enclosed with a seating area, BBQ and vegetable garden.

Family vaca to SF

Pros: the unit was the perfect size for my family of 5. It was clean, spacious & had lots of character. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do in the Northern CA area. Sami was great at communicating with us during our stay and got us whatever we needed. He even gave us recommendations about the neighborhood. Cons: sharing the backyard was interesting. We didn't realize Sami doesn't own the upper and lower unit. The owner of the lower unit has 0 standards about who they rent to & it seemed like more of a party house. The renters left food, ash trays and pot on the shared coffee table. At one point there was a man sleeping on the chaise that impacted our ability to make supper. We ended up checking out 1 day early d/t a very loud party that went from midnight until past 6:30 am. There was loud music, shouting, fighting between multiple groups of people that carried out to the front lawn and front door. Not something we want to subject our school age kids to. When we left that morning there were still people on the front steps awake from the night before. We reported all this to Sami and he was apologetic but it didn't feel like he could do anything about it. I would not stay here again only because of the unknown with the other unit.

Fantastic stay

This beautiful, clean, light-filled property was a pleasure to occupy for three days. Spacious and comfortable. Had all the amenities needed. Comfortable beds. Nice outdoor sitting area. Host was very pleasant and responded to queries right away. Hope to stay there again!

Wonderful Weekend

We flew out to California for a family get together. Sami's place was a wonderful place to stay. It was perfect for us. The apartment is pretty large. It was enough space for the four of us. We each had our own room, two are on the smaller side, one was large. The smaller bedrooms share a bathroom. It was roomy, clean and had everything we needed. There is also plenty of street parking outside. It was perfect for the weekend. I highly recommend Sami's place!

Sisters Getaway

We had 3 adults and we all loved your apartment! It fit our needs perfectly. We had very hot weather and were on the top floor so it was pretty warm but there were plenty of fans to cool the place down. Plenty of kitchen appliances for cooking. Schöne Wohnung im erste Stock

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, war mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, und hatte sogar einen Garten, den wir mitbenutzen durften. Es liegt nur fĂŒnf Gehminuten von der Haltestelle des Busses F entfernt, mit dem man ohne Umsteigen nach San Francisco fahren kann.

Beautiful 3-bedroom in Oakland, with garden

This rental was a lovely place to stay. The size was perfect and it was clean and bright. And the outdoor garden was a fabulous place to relax. One small issue was that there is a vintage stove and oven. The pilot lights went out and we able to relight them, with help from the property owner, but there was still a residual gas smell throughout our stay that necessitated keeping the kitchen windows open. Apart from that, we'd highly recommend it. And the owner was very responsive to any questions and concerns.

Weekend Event

The place is clean and comfortable. If you are not cooking it is fine, the stove is dated and needs attention if your going to use it. The owner was very responsive and solved any small issues quickly. We were only in the unit at night and did not spend a lot of time there. It is close to shopping and other conveniences.

We loved this place. It was clean, plenty of climate control options in each room. The location is very convenient to everything. The neighbors are quiet. We had plenty of space to park, even when we got in late. This was a positive experience.

Sunny apartment - Great location

Sam was an excellent host for our 3-night stay in April. The kitchen and bathrooms had lots of amenities. The apartment is sunny; beds are comfortable. Street parking was always available. Would happily stay here again.

Christmas trip with family

I would highly recommend staying at this property. The property was very clean. The host even supplied really good coffee. We had all the amenities we needed. We had a couple of questions for the host and he answered them within minutes after we emailed him. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfortable.
