En super trevlig mysig timmerstuga som ligger bara 6 miles frÄn Mount Airy och Andy Griffith Museum. Den sitter pÄ en liten gÄrd. Miniatyr Äsnor och pygora getter finns pÄ omgivande fastigheter. Vi erbjuder alltid apelsinjuice, mjölk, frukostbröd eller muffins, med en liten pÄse godis frÄn Opies Candy Shop. Vi kan ibland tillhandahÄlla fÀrska Àgg nÀr vÄra kycklingar lÀgger bra. Vi Àr husdjursvÀnliga.

Amazing. Very friendly hosts. Well kept and clean. Loved the animals and all the beautiful flowers and plants. Excellent hot water for the jacuzzi tub. Exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this cabin .

This cabin is adorable with so many special touches. The hosts had treats for us including a retirement cake for my boyfriend! Talk about going above and beyond! This cabin is very close to town, but completely secluded and private. Several outdoor areas to enjoy. We can’t wait to visit again!

Staying at Randy & Kim’s cabin was like a step back in time- we had such a wonderful stay. The cabin was so inviting and comfortable. At night you could step out on the porch and hear the music of the crickets! The cabin was immaculate. The decor was so fitting of a cabin in the country, beautiful. It was fun checking out all of Kim”s beautiful home-made yard art. We felt like we were out in the country but yet just a short drive and you are in town. Very convenient. We enjoyed coffee on the porch while sitting in the swing and the rocking chairs. We came from California to visit Mayberry Days and this cabin was the perfect choice.“Mr. Jingles” was a delightful kitty cat - so friendly and loving. He would greet us at the door every morning with his scratchy little meow!Randy and Kim are such nice, friendly people, great hosts. We loved visiting with them. Kim introduced us to their animals. The donkeys were so adorable as were the goats, ducks, and rabbit. Being from California we don’t have the opportunity to see farm animals!!- so fun!! The Keurig coffee maker and coffees were a nice addition for the morning. Thank you for leaving us the delicious bread and treats.We had never been to North Carolina before and staying at Randy and Kim’s cabin was the absolute highlight of our trip!! We can’t wait to go back and stay again! - thank you for your gracious hospitality.

The cabin is the perfect place to come to relax and recharge! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our daily greetings by Mr. Jingles. It’s a great location
out of the hustle and bustle of the town but close to several activities. The hosts are fantastic too and even got my husband and I a small anniversary cake for our stay. We cannot wait to return!

Really enjoyed our stay. House was super clean close to Mt Airey. Very quiet and peaceful loved sitting on porch with my coffee in the morning. Highly recommend for your next getaway. Only met Randy enjoy taking to him. Hope to plan another trip to the cabin

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome at the property managers. Kim and Randy were the best hosts. Their farm is beautiful and has many friendly animals. ! The cabin was clean, well equipped, very comfortable and close to many things yet isolated enough for beauty, peace and quiet. Definitely will go back and recommend them to all of our friends and family

We loved this cabin. Beautiful location, owers were so nice and accommodating. Was closed to Mt. Airy and places we wanted to visit.We had such a great time, we have already booked another visition in September, 2026.

Great Couples Cabin

This is the perfect getaway cabin for a couple looking for everything on one level. Very quiet and quaint, but just a short drive to food and fun.

This was my favorite vaca rental I have ever stayed in and I have traveled all over the US and out of the country. The hosts were great and we loved the farm. My Mom and I enjoyed cooking at the cabin and sitting on the porches. I will definately be back.

perfect! From the quiet still mornings with coffee out in the swing with Mr Jingles to the late afternoon walks to visit the farm animals and enjoy the scenery was a joy to experience. The cabin was perfect. We fell in love as soon as we drove up. We definitely recommend this to anyone!

Peaceful getaway minutes from Mayberry

Lovely little cottage, better than expected. And we enjoyed the outdoor cat that lived there, he's a friendly old guy. Loved having coffee on the porch with the cat. Very relaxing and refreshing. Hosts were wonderful to deal with. Looking forward to staying again.

Randy and Kim Hicks built the cabin in 2006. We have put a lot of love and hard work in the cabin to make it extremely nice, landscaped, and very clean.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

It was our dream to have a log cabin so we built it on our farm. We have a lot of people coming through to visit Mount Airy or Mayberry. We have enjoyed meeting the people that have stayed. It has been a blessing to us and the people that have stayed.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This cabin is very peaceful. The animals provide a great atmosphere. You are out of town, but so close to restaurants and shopping areas. You are only about 10 miles from Pilot Mountain State Park.
