Welcome, Mt. Airy is a fun place in a relaxed kind of way. This pet friendly home is clean and ready for you. This is a small house with private driveway, front and fenced back yard. Pet friendly with no pet fee, fenced back yard for your small or large dog. If more than 2 pets, ok with approval. One Bedroom house, for 2 adults, but if you have a small child, (cot is furnished) can be set up. Less than a mile from 601, 52, 74, 77. Less than a mile to Hospital. Less than 2 miles to Downtown Mt. Airy. Only a few blocks to restaurants and shops. Private driveway with large chickens,( no live chickens on property). Come and enjoy Mt. Airy and surrounding area, along with your home with, Wi-Fi, TV's heat, a/c, porches, Grill, and everything you need to enjoy your stay. Smoking allowed on porches, not inside. Safe travels.

This home is very clean, great decorations, a fenced in yard for your pets to play and the host has everything you can imagine for you to use if you forgot some personal items at home, she even had balloons and a birthday cake waiting for me! Would absolutely stay here again!!

This is a very comfy, cozy property that appears small on the outside but has lots of room inside with an open floor plan. Though we did not bring any fur babies on this trip, it is evident they are welcome. However, if you do not want them in your sleeping area, you may need to bring a gate, since there is no door on the bedroom. That was not a problem for us. The main reason we chose this property was that there was a recliner which I need to sleep in. It was reasonably comfortable. The decor is country girl chic and completely adorable! The television options were great, and there were also puzzles and games available. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, and we appreciated the complimentary bottled water. There were also many amenties provided in case you forgot anything. You can tell this owner takes your comfort seriously. Much care and attention has been taken to make sure you have a comfortable stay. My husband even made the comment that it was shame we were only staying one night, which is not typical for him. We would love to stay here again if we are ever passing through the area again, and hopefully, we can stay more than one night.

Awesome Place

Jerry and Betty had this house so stocked, you literally would just need to bring your clothes and food. Even supplied food and water bowls for pets. The house was spotless and just as adorable as can be!

Mt. Airy Stay

Thank you so much for hosting us! The house was spotless well-maintained, and exactly as listed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen (actually entire house) was fully equipped, if you forgot something, needed something, or wanted something it was stocked. The host had such attention to detail, as you walk in the door, there was even a welcome sign hanging on the wall welcoming your families name, such a personal touch. We never rented VRBO before and was hesitant however the host answered all of my questions, texted us and keep us up to date on our travel day with directions upon entering the rental. It was a very pleasant all around experience and we would highly recommend this property/host! Thank you for your hospitality & I am sure we will be contacting you April 2026.

Deserves more than 5 stars!

Wonderful property! Extremely clean, amazing host, toiletries if you forgot yours, full kitchen, fenced in yard (for pets), charcoal grill, covered porch, parking for several cars, internet, centrally located, and the list goes on and on! If you're looking for a quaint, quiet, clean place to stay I highly recommend booking here!

Came to explore the My Airy area and hike Stone & Pilot Mtn location was close to everything and the property was private and my big dogs were welcome even in the businesses, except restaurants of course. I did mention to host the tub was slick and she will replace mat got to meet Betty who was a delight! Would stay again

We felt like we were at home. The place was so clean and welcoming! Private but close to all shops and restaurants. We especially loved the fenced in back yard, our Lilly could run without worrying about her. Everyone in town was nice as well. Great getaway!!!!

It was a beautiful property! Very clean! The owner had amazing communication and we didn’t feel rushed to leave or unwelcome. We definitely want to stay again! Plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby!
