Only 4.2 Miles to the beach. Use of kitchen and often muffins in the morning. Owner has own private bedroom and bath. Guests have their own bathroom in the hallway outside of their room. Many good restaurants. House is on a quiet dead end street. Short drive to Mystic and other CT. attractions.
Second bedroom with a queen bed may be possible.

Shoreline visit

Property was great, views into the rear garden. Chipmunks and various birds. We were out most of day and rested peacefully at night.

It was a perfect place for us to stay. James was so very kind and helpful. Suggested places to go etc. Will definitely stay here again when we are visiting the area.

super host, house is very nicely located

Very nice host, spoiled us with his homemade morning muffins and gave us good sightseeing tips. The house itself is very nice. We had the choice of which room we wanted to take, use the room to the quiet side to the front.

Wonderful stay!

Lovely accommodation, fresh flowers in our room, delicious coffee and fresh baked English muffins every morning! What's not to like? Our host was so interesting and a talented musician also! We will definitely return to this little gem!

Amazing

James was an absolutely amazing host. I was skeptical at 1st as this was my 1st VRBO with no private access, but absolutely would rebook with him again. He was very kind and the bed is comfortable.

A great find in East Lyme!

This is a lovely, clean and comfortable home. James was a great host, knowing when to be present and when to be in the background, but always available. He was more than welcoming, even being accommodating to our lab. The blueberry muffins and coffee in the morning were delicious and much appreciated. Thank you, James.

Flexible and Friendly

Jim was wonderful. He called me right away to make sure I knew where to go and everything was all set. He was flexible about arrival and didn't mind us coming in at 2 am the second night we were there! He even baked delicious bread and blueberry and strawberry muffins!! Really appreciated his hospitality.

Came to town to bring my son to school.

First, I will say that James is very kind. However, I belive that the description of his home was not accurate. This is not a private home. The pictures and description make it seem like you will have your own space and privacy. My bedroom was upstairs next to the hosts, with only a little push lock on the door. As a single woman traveling alone, this made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I didnt have any other options once I got to town so I had to stay, but I didnt sleep very well. The home was clean, but I didnt have anywhere to go in the house besides my room where I could be alone. I didnt feel like I could use the kitchen or living room or anything like that.

Perfect spot for me and my dog to stay the evening. Host was personable and we had some nice conversations. You should know that while you have our own bedroom room and bathroom your are sharing the house with the host. There is not a separate entrance with accommodations divided from the house. .

Such a nice property!

James was very accomodating! We checked in a little later than check in time, called to let him know when we be there, he had no issues. He was very welcoming. The room was very nice, he even gave us the choice of the room with the bigger bed if we wanted it. He even carried my bag into the house. He made us feel at home, gave us restaurant recommendations, and in the morning gave us homemade banana bread and blueberry muffins. 10/10 would stay again!

Great Stay for CGA Parents

My wife and I stayed here for "Parents Weekend" at the Coast Guard Academy. The location is < 15 minutes from the main gate in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. James is an exceptional host with unmatched hospitality. The morning coffee and blueberry muffins were a great way to start our day!
