Summary:
Best seat in town for the hot air balloon launch of Balloons & Tunes! Wish You Were Here welcomes you to unwind and enjoy the perfect spot for your southern Utah adventure. Nestled at the base of Kanab's Vermillion Cliffs, you will enjoy amazing views spreading all the way to the Grand Canyon. You can hike right from our home to the trails above town.

The Space:
Wish You Were Here has a very open format with an expansive living room and large kitchen with picture windows surrounding the dining area.

The master bedroom has a king sized bed, private TV and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. There is also a comfortable workspace to jump on-line for meetings or just plan out your next day's adventures.

The first of the two guest rooms has a queen sized bed, large closet and TV. The second guest room features 2 full sized beds with huge closets and a TV. There is a full bathroom in the hallway leading to the secondary bedrooms with a fully tiled shower/tub. 8 guests can sleep in beds but this home can sleep up to 10 guests using the queen size air mattress in bedroom #3 closet along with a pack and play for kiddos and toddlers!

Since so many activities here in this beautiful area will take you outdoors, you have full sized laundry facilities with all the supplies you'll need to be ready for the next day's trip. A half-bathroom is conveniently located just off the laundry room and our guests will also be able to use the 2 car garage to park, store bikes, etc.

You can start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the front porch gazing at the cliffs and enjoy the views to the south in the evening while preparing dinner on the available gas grill.

The fully stocked kitchen includes a hand mixer, bullet blender along with full size blender, air fryer, rice cooker, crock pot, griddle, blender, waffle iron, regular coffee maker, tea kettle, mixing bowls, measuring cups, cookie sheets, cutting boards, knives, glass baking dishes, and so much more!

If you are visiting us during the annual Kanab Balloons and Tunes festival you will have a front row seat to watch the hot air balloons take flight.

Guest Access:
Guest have full use of the house, garage, laundry, patio, grill, etc.

The Neighborhood:
Centrally located in the heart of Kanab, within a short distance of local restaurants, city pool, city park, skate park, tennis courts, basketball court, yet nestled in a quiet, tranquil, and friendly neighborhood. Enjoy Kanab hiking trails, restaurants, and gift shops, as well as day trips to 3 nearby national parks, 4 national monuments, numerous state parks, and endless opportunities to explore spectacular Southern Utah.

Getting Around:
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Get around in town mostly via car, though most places are within walking distance.

Other Things to Note:
For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property.

Kanab is known as the "Hub of the Parks', and is the gateway to three national parks, Zion (30 Miles), Bryce Canyon (70 miles) and the Grand Canyon North Rim (70 miles). Visit the Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, The 'Wave'/Paria Wilderness, Pipe Springs National Monument, Kodachrome State Park, Cedar Breaks and Cedar Mountain. Also tour Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, or hike in the red rock country nearby through the many trails such as Squaw, Bunting, and K-Hill trails. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Relax with a dream vacation and re-live life in the west where dozens of western movies were made, Kanab otherwise knows as 'little Hollywood' is home to the Western Legends Roundup, every August and features vendors, great food, two live stages and the National Cowboy Poetry Rodeo. This event honors the western movie industry and highlights the 'High Noon' western parade, and much, much more.
