Om boendet

Looking to escape up north and enjoy the snow? Miles upon miles of trails for your ORV. Rest and Recharge at our cottage with room to sleep 8. Walking distance from St. Helen Lake for water recreation. Open floor plan w/ 1 bed and bath on 1st floor. 1 full bedroom and another for the "little's" upstairs (This room is only about 5 foot tall. An adult will not be able to stand upright in this room). Trail access is just down the road and everything in town can be accessed with your ORV or snowmobile sled!
The space
Enjoy a calm relaxed getaway in our cottage where you can stroll down to the lake, rest on the deck or light up the charcoal grill to cook the catch of the day. Out back, cook some S'mores or enjoy a cold one by the fire. Inside we invite you to open the hallway closet where you will find our supply of puzzles or a board games to play at the kitchen table. (there is a leaf under the table that can be opened to make it larger) You can also hop in the car and enjoy Houghton lake or Higgins Lake with just a short drive.

You will have access to the whole cottage with the exception of the 2 Garages.

Deer hunting trip with son and grandsons. Clean, warm, cozy, just bring food, all else supplied. Nice!

Great Cottage by Lake St. Helen

We have family with a cottage on the lake. We loved this place as a remote place to stay. Super comfy, well stocked and comfortable beds. Look forward to booking again next year.

Anniversary trip

We came for our anniversary to this cozy cabin! It was an adorable home that was warm and welcoming as soon we walked through the doors! Super clean and adorable! We loved how close the walk was to the beach and the fire pit in the back was so nice to relax around! The massage chair was a awesome! We can’t wait to come back with our family and make some more wonderful memories! Highly recommend this lovely home for your next vacation get away. The owners for very responsive and easily available for all of our questions!!!!

Wonderful owner

The owner maintained great communication the whole step of the way. Our party was 6 adults, we knew going in that one room was low ceiling and a kid motif. My adult kids just had fun with it and limbo-ed their day to a start. Definitely better for a family with little kiddos, but we would go back!

We enjoy coming up to the cottage ourselves when it is not rented to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It just feels like everything slows down when we are up there and gives us the opportunity to enjoy some family time.

Our cozy little cottage has modern conveniences of wifi, but there are board games and a few decks of cards in the closet if you are trying to get away from all that technology and let the vacation come to you.
