An amazing property, would definitely stay here again! Very relaxing atmosphere, beautifully decorated home, owner definitely has an eye for the details and making it a welcoming place to stay! The kayaking and fire pit were fun!

Amazing property. Everything about this place was top notch. Perfect for us and our son and daughter in law who live in Ann Arbor. Lots of indoor and outdoor space and very quiet. We felt at home there. Lots to do. We enjoyed every minute there.

Beautiful home on a very quiet small lake! The property is in a private, relaxing location. Super dog friendly! If you are looking for a relaxing home, where you don’t have to leave the property, and still have plenty to see/do, I recommend this home.

Magical location

We absolutely loved this property!!! The paths through the woods are truly magical. The view of the lake was perfect and the naps in the hammocks were exactly what I needed. Large property with plenty of space for the 3 of us. If you are looking to just listen to the sounds of nature this is absolutely the place for you!!

4th of July Holiday

We had a great week. The house is beautiful and was exactly as described. We had a great time kayaking, fishing and hiking with the dogs. The deck was perfect for meals and reading in the mornings with and cup of coffee while enjoying the view of the lake. We hope to be back soon!

Really enjoyed our time at this property.Wonderful lakefront views and a lovely home . Jennifer is a wonderful host and has paid great attention to detail . From the thoughtful welcome package to the board games in the family room , everything was perfect for our stay here . We had kids and a pet in our party and everyone had a great time . This is such a nice place to bring your pet to .

We had an amazing experience. We stayed for a long weekend with our family (including two dogs). The accommodations were wonderful. The house itself is great, with a large living and dining area. It is very close to Houghton and Higgins lakes, great for boating. The birds were incredible! Hummingbirds galore, bald eagle, lots of woodpeckers and many other species. We plan to stay there in the future and highly recommend it.

Great home for a short family getaway!! Very dog-friendly & peaceful. The house was clean & had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We loved eating out in the back deck overlooking the lake. We were well-stocked with firewood for the beachfront fire pit. There were so many woodpeckers and hummingbirds, especially when we were drinking our morning coffee on the front porch. We never even saw another person. Great location to just getaway from it all for a family get together.
