This updated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo sleeps 6 with a king bed, a twin over full bunk bed, and a newly updated queen sleeper sofa. It features slope views from the private balcony. It also has an updated kitchen and bathroom. Ideally located in River Run Village, you’re just steps away from the high-speed gondola, shopping, restaurants, and local festivities. Black Bear Lodge also offers shared amenities including a sauna and hot tub, and access to Dakota Lodge pool and hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a closet for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features new couches, a flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace. For extra sleeping arrangements, there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Extra sheets and blankets in a closet. Just off the living area is the private balcony that features beautiful ski slope and seating for guests to enjoy.

The kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. It features granite counters, new hardwood floors, new cabinets, stove-top burners, and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats four with two additional seats at the breakfast bar.

The bedroom features a king sized bed with ultra premium linens and a TV with a DVD + VHS player. Enjoy ski slope views from the bedroom window. The remodeled master bathroom has a single sink vanity with granite countertops and a shower/tub combination. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The guest bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed and two dressers for ample storage. The full-sized guest bathroom features a standing shower, new flooring, and granite countertops.

Skiing with Friends

The property fit the Vrbo description accurately and more. We enjoyed 3 days of skiing at Keystone and than coming back at the end of the day to the comfort of this Black Bear property.

Pleasant unit in River Run

Very pleasant unit in River Run. Nice square footage where the four of us didn't feel like we were on top of each other the whole time. Very little noise from adjacent units. Only issue was construction going on blocking the porch view, but that is not the fault of the property managers for this unit. Would definitely book again if we were in the area.

I liked the secured parking & having the carts right next to the elevator to haul our stuff up to the condo was very helpful. Beds were very comfortable, the view from the patio of keystone mountain was amazing & the location was perfect, especially with the shops nearby.

Spacious, clean, great location

One of our favorite units we've stayed at in Keystone! Everything was clean and you could tell they had done some nice updating. We had plenty of space and the kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed...even had extra towels and blankets for the beds. Easy walk to the main gondola. Quiet at night. Summit gave lots of info and made the whole process super easy. Definitely would stay here again!

Perfect Condo in the Mountains

Almost perfect

We loved this condo and would book again, my only two complaints is the door to the patio wouldn’t open which is a reason we booked it we like to sit outside and watch skiers come down the mountain. Also the carpet is dirty and needs a deep clean.

Reviewer Comments: The overall stay for a couple of days was very nice. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was construction going on the west side of the condo where we stayed (I know the construction is out of the control of VRBO) but it would've been nice to have been told the workers start at 7:00 a.m. and don't stop until 7:00 p.m. There were a few minor issues that we addressed with Summit County Mountain Retreat and they responded very quickly.

Great stay

The location was great. Communication with the property manager was great. Didn’t love having to get keys from a different location but it was easy enough. There were extra chairs stacked in the entryway when we arrived, but it didn’t bother us. Called and told them about it. They offered to have someone come get them but we figured that would be harder than just moving them out of the way. Amenities were great and beds were comfortable. Would stay there again.

It was ok.

It's too bad these management companies/owners have no desire to inspect their units BEFORE guests arrive. There were multiple issues with this unit, some were fixed after reported, some were too far gone to fix expediently. - The garbage disposal was broken. - There were no screens on the second bedroom windows... in the summer with no AC having windows open is a necessity. Our son was eaten alive by mosquitos. - The drain plug on the master shower was completely broken. - There is no regular oven in this unit. Only a small electric stove and a convection microwave.

Needs work

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in a very convenient location. The chair upholstery is falling apart, the lamp shades/windows are broken, hanging lights really dusty, location was extremely loud with all of the neighboring parties going on, pillows and bedding are super cheap. The pillows and blankets were stained and gross. After informing the management company, they brought more pillows and thin, but new microfiber/suede blanks, but helped. The kitchen has a convection oven/microwave and is well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups.... Bring your own coffee or head downstairs to the coffee shop right next store. For $500/night definitely not as comfortable as other units at Keystone.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans.
