Forget your worries in this comfortable and serene space. This cozy, spacious upstairs guesthouse is attached to main house, and is just 25 minutes from Downtown San Diego and close to lots of fantastic places to visit - San Diego Zoo Safari park, Center for the Arts, Parks etc. Perfect for an enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing stay in your own private space. Ideal for a couple, or solo traveler. Spacious, sunny, and tranquil guesthouse provides kitchen, bath and a separate entrance. You will have the entire attached one-bedroom guesthouse to yourself, giving you lots of privacy and comfort.

The space
Cozy, newly renovated guesthouse on the second floor. The guesthouse is attached to the main house where we live, but separate. The space is above the garage and has its own private entrance. Parking is just a few steps away from the guesthouse and there are some stairs to get up to the guesthouse. Motion lights come on at night to guide you. Once in the guesthouse, it will feel cozy, tranquil and private, and has an open floor plan. The bathroom is newly renovated with a shower and tub. Bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps 2.. The guesthouse has a Roku T.V. and common streaming apps. The kitchen has a small refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, pots & pans, bowls, and things you would need to cook a small meal.

The neighborhood is quiet. The home is very close Hwy 15, 2.5 miles from the Westfield North County shopping mall and is close to everything, within a short drive. There are tons of things - museums, the zoo safari park, Sea World, a Legoland, Carlsbad field of flowers.
5-to-10-minute drive to local dining, groceries, and retail (Brigantine, Burger Bench, Bellamy’s, Plan 9 Alehouse, Mi Guadalajara, Cute Cakes, A Delight of France, Vons, Trader Joes, Jimbo’s, Major Market etc.).

It was very clean, quiet and nice. Its a bit hidden so a little tricky to find. Stairs are a bit high so you get a workout. The 2 couches are sofa beds. The smaller one has a sheet and blanket but the other one doesn't. I suggest if you plan on utilizing those that you bring your own sheets and blankets because theres no extra bedding in there. They are extremely uncomfortable and my back hurt the next day. The tv does have the streaming apps but you log on with your own credentials. None of those are free. We were there for 2 nights. In conclusion, aside from the uncomfortable sofa beds its a really nice place.

This property is a great clean, quiet, and convenient spot. All the amenities were great and fast and reliable communication from the host. If you have any event or trip to Escondido for you and 1-2 others, highly recommend!
