Riverfront Cabin! Mountain Views, Pool, Hot Tub, Fishing, Tubing, Fire Pit, WIFI

This lovely riverfront cabin is located along the Hiwassee River. Built in 2006, this cabin has nearly 2,000 sq. ft. of living space. The cabin was remolded in June of 2022 with all NEW furniture and appliances! There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom is located downstairs and features a NEW king-sized bed. The master bath is adjacent and includes a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. The two upstairs bedrooms are both furnished with two NEW queen beds in each room. The second full bathroom is also located upstairs. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with TVs with internet capability. Netflix and YouTube TV are provided.

The cabin is equipped with a main-level laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with NEW appliances for cooking, and there is a large dining room table for family meals. The open concept living room includes a fireplace.

The true gem of this cabin is the rear covered porch with rocking chairs, TV, and a hot tub for relaxing with a cup of coffee or enjoying a beautiful sunset. A charcoal grill is also available. Walk down to the river to go tubing, trout fishing, or build a campfire. There are two automatic fish feeders on the property so, trout are always nearby. Trout are also stocked just up the river making this a prime fishing spot. If you just want to cool off, enjoy our community swimming pool (available Memorial Day-Labor Day).

Our location is just minutes from Lake Chatuge, boat rentals, grocery stores, local boutiques, restaurants, and a hospital. It is also close to Brasstown Bald, Helen (15 miles away), Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Golf Courses, Spas, Appalachian Trail, NE Georgia Wineries, Zip Lining, Gem Mining, White Water Rafting, Waterfalls, and Scenic Mountain Driving.

Perfect

This was a perfect location for a family meet up. The cabin was perfect and my 15 yo son didn’t want to go explore anywhere but the river. He caught so many trout that we had to make him come inside. We cooked on the grill several nights. Grocery stores and restaurants were convenient to the cabin. In fact we all said we will make sure we save this property as our favorite so we can return often.

Great family getaway!

Great location, so close to Helen and many historic sites. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, large dining area. Lovely view from porch, hot tub, rocking chairs. Walk to beautiful Hiawassee river, fun for kids and adults.

Great Mountain Retreat

This is our 2nd time of staying in this house. We go to Hiawassee annually with our young grandchildren. They love playing in and around the river. Safe conditions for 10 year old boys to enjoy the outdoors. And they love the hot tub

Fall Fun

Very relaxed family time. Went hiking by Lake Chatuge.enjoyed the hot tub and cooking with family. Managers are helpful with any problems. Plenty of space for a group of 8.

Fantastic cabin and location.

Enjoyed everything about it, except the “stock trout” river did not appear to have any fish. Plus it was catch and release so that ended our hopes of catching dinner at least once. Otherwise the property was as advertised and the location was perfect for our planned activities. Definitely would stay there again.

Really great location

Very conveniently located to a lot of great parks, town of Helen, Lake Chatuge, close to grocery store. Loved sitting by river and having a fire, making s’mores. The home was just lovely. Would go again.

If you are looking for a tranquil place to rest and relax I highly recommend this cabin. It was extremely clean, updated, in a quiet location. It is in a good proximity to town. We will definitely be visiting it again!

Gorgeous Place to Stay!

My family loved this home and location. It is right on the river and in a friendly neighborhood with just a short drive to Hiawassee or Helen. The owners are very helpful and answer questions in a timely manner. We will recommend to others and try to stay again if we come back to the area.

We loved our stay at this cabin! The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the back porch and walking around the property down by the river. We hiked some beautiful trails and visited nearby Helen which was a lot of fun. The owner was friendly and responsive. We had a wonderful vacation!

Nice Cabin

We had a great stay with no problems at all. Cabin is lovely, clean and well apportioned. The TV had Netflix logged in so we were able to watch movies without juggling passwords/accounts. Sara was a great host and answered all questions quickly and accurately. Would definitely stay here again!

Towns county stay

The home was very clean and spacious. The beds and couches were very comfortable and rooms neat. The kitchen had just about everything you needed to cook and the back deck was perfect for hanging out on and enjoying a cup of tea. The river is a very short walk from the cabin and perfect for fishing. Overall, the experience was great. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Enjoyed Every Minute

In Hiawassee for our annual reunion with retired police friends. This cabin has it all. Scenic view of the mountains, a stream running through the back of the property and all the amenities you could wish for. Our hosts answered every question we had promptly. We have already booked this cabin again for next year's reunion.

Heaven on earth

Our week was amazing! The cabin was fabulous and in a great small community. The set up of the cabins with all the space and trees makes you feel you are in a secluded area. We had to remind the kids we were sharing the space with others. The river was amazing for the family and having the pool and hot tub was sprinkles to an already amazing cake. I feel like I need to avoid saying too many nice things for fear we will miss out on it next time. Our family returned feeling rested and everyone agreed we will miss the place.

Relaxing week away

We had a fantastic time! We had everything we needed for a week with my parents who are in their 70s and our kids aged 7-13. Everyone had their own bed and all that we needed was there. So many places to visit around, but it’s a bit of a drive. But we were looking for the quiet so it was perfect. Just know that the bank to get to the river is pretty steep.

Wonderland

We were in love with this cabin! We only had 2 adults, so it was more than spacious! It seemed brand-new! Everything was spotless! Furniture was comfy and they even had fall decor out! Beautiful view and even though the cabins are close, it doesn’t seem like neighbors are right on top of you. Drive into Helen was very reasonable, and the cost here was highly preferred!

Mountain trip 22

We arrived to a terrible smell outside. I guess is was farming in the area, it lasted 2 of our 3 days. I didn’t realize this house was so close to others but we had good neighbors. Cabin looked new inside and out as described. We enjoyed the hot tub and fishing in the river out back including tubing .Good location for Hiawasse and Helen just a short drive.

All the bells & whistles!!

We had the best time!! We had two adults, a 13 year old boy, 16 year old boy, and a 8 & 9 year old girls. The two girls shared a room and the 2 boys shared a room. They each had their own QUEEN bed so no arguing! The property is on the main highway between Helen and Hiawassee so it’s easy to find! The pool was right outside the front door which was so convenient. You could also sit in the hot tub and watch the cute little beavers in the field! It was a great time and I 10/10 recommend this place. The owner was awesome too and answered all questions very quickly. Book it! You won’t regret it!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

Wow this was such a perfect place to relax! The cabin is very large and open, with plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels that are great quality. The couches were probably the most comfortable I’ve ever sat on, not that I did that much…. There are SO many things to do in this area. Great restaurants- Sundance and Tilted Cafe were our favorites. Sara put together a very handy welcome guide with easy instructions. The back porch was our favorite- it overlooks a meadow with mountains in the background and is right on the river. It is a stocked river, so plenty of fish to catch if you fish! The hot tub on the back porch was so nice to sit in during the evening or morning. TVs in all the bedrooms was really nice. Hiawassee is such a cool town- tubing, hiking, cute shops, check out Splash Island if you have kids, and Helen was a cool experience. Sara was very good at communicating, and super quick to respond. Overall, I highly recommend this property, we will definitely be back!!
