I stay at this property at least once a year, and more often when I can. It is an oasis in a great town, with beautiful views from every room, and luxurious outdoor spaces that offer a beautiful pool, hot tub, fire pit and outdoor grill / bar / lounge. The owner-host personally welcomes his guests like old friends.

Great place in Lafayette CA and very convenient location!

We were 4 siblings with spouses that stayed at Chris's place in Lafayette CA for a family memorial. The pictures are a little confusing regarding the floor plan but once there, it was a great set up. The outdoor spaces are great and well utilized. The pool, hot tub and outdoor kitchen were really enjoyed by all. Thank you Chris for allowing us to enjoy your place.

Had a great stay with the family

We hosted our grandparents visiting from out of town, and we had a great time with our three kids. The property was very clean, well-maintained, and had a great view of the valley.

A Truly Magnificent Setting for a Magical Vacation

The views, the landscaping, pool, and all of the spectacularly conceived outdoor spaces make this an unforgettable vacation oasis. We celebrated our son’s MBA graduation from Berkeley during our stay and the inspiring environment of this home really made for an amazing vacation week.

Great time, amazing place!

3rd year in a row we have stayed here.. it is immaculate, well stocked, and perfect for a large family. 2 large bedroom suites (plus 2 more bedrooms) work well for us! The outdoor kitchen and cabana , pool, hot tub are second to none!

My friends and family loved this property so much we rented it already for next year! Grateful to Chris and Tracy for their help. You only need toiletries and a tooth brush - they’ve got the rest!

Amazing house!

Can't say enough good things about the property. Secluded and beautiful location and a house with a ton of amenities. We were surprised one room had a pair of twin beds but we made it work. Would definitely recommend, especially in the summer time.

Third time and still loving it

This was our third stay at this magnificent house. It has everything and we took advantage of it all (except the pool - too cold to swim, but the jacuzzi did just fine). Chris the owner is wonderful to work with. For us, this is the perfect family group house . Thank you Chris for another wonderful stay.

Exceptional

Fabulous property for a family or group of friends. The infinity pool with bar and outdoor kitchen is first class, offering amazing views from an elevated position directly across to Mount Diablo. Just spent eight days, can't recommend the property, and Chris the owner, highly enough. Looking forward to returning at some point in the future.

Pool time!

Perfect!!! The house have everything you will need for a wonderful vacation by the pool. I had purchased floats that I never needed because the owner has provided a wide variety, and all the towels you would need.

Beautiful hidden treasure.

Words can't explain how beautiful and amazing this property is. The pictures are an understatement; my family couldn't stop talking about the extraordinary views. My daughter turned 12 we had a small all girls sleepover. The amenities within the home were all well kept. I was able to have enough sleeping space for everyone. There were so many extra blowup mattresses to where the girls were all able to have there own beds. I have to mention there is enough towels the kids were able to use and use and never ran out. Owner Chris, was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend the location to families with children it's the perfect STAYCATION property.

Put this on your "Do It" AND "Do it Again !list!

This place is fantastic! The setting is superb! My family enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the dining table one evening, and awoke to a gorgeous sunrise with coffee on the kitchen deck! The house is open, spacious, clean, and well equipped with towels and bedding; the lighting has many possibilities per mood; the kitchen has a great seating nook which we really enjoyed. The pool and entire pool area far exceeds any highest rating! Honestly, even the beautiful photos do not truly capture the pleasure of the experience. The manager greeted us and did a walk-through to explain music, lighting, and other incidentals. Chris, the owner, was quick and always available by phone before and after the stay. An added (huge) plus is that the BART station is within minutes of the house and goes all the way to SF airport! It was perfect for some of my family traveling by plane! I would absolutely love to repeat a stay at this home!

Indoor area is well furnished and very comfortable with functional layout.Views of the surrounding areas approx 300 degrees.Modern Kitchen,breakfast banquette area looks east toward early morning sun and pool in full view just below.Full audio and visual features in and around deck area.

If you enjoy garden color, you will be happy to see a mature landscape add to the beauty.Much in Lavenders,Roses and other bedding plants.The entire backdrop for photo moments will be a definite feature for you and family.Fall brings an unbelievable color to the property as the strategic planting of Maples come alive !

Pool area gets in access of 9 hrs of full sun (peak)with umbrellas, lounges, kids " floaties " and cabana for protection if desired.The beach entry are gets the very last and facing east the setting sun on Mt Diablo is a highlight as you settle down to dinner. All amenities are right at your fingertips and an after dinner drink around the fire pit or another dip in the pool will truly put you in the relax mode...as the sunset gives way to the twinkling light on the distant peaks and lower valley.Watch for the beam of orange light as it slowly breaks behind the Mountain.....the moon is in full view from this area and breathtaking when it is full and very hard to cut the evening short.Cabana equipt with change/bathroom.
