AC Oceanview Condo at Kona Bali Kai

Aloha! Come enjoy our expansive, nearly 180-degree, west-facing oceanfront condo located along a charming 2-lane road with plentiful coffee shops, restaurants, and art galleries nearby. We are friendly to all, and look forward to you enjoying our family-owned place as much as we do when we are on the Big Island.

The condo is extremely well-stocked for the beach and for cooking, with luxury, high-quality finishes. Located 2 floors above ground-level, so close to the ocean that it would now be illegal to build there, but it sure is lovely to hear the sounds of the surf in every room. Enjoy granite countertops and beautiful wood in the kitchen, tile floors through-out, an indoor chaise lounge, and a spacious lanai with 2 plush sunbrella chaise lounge chairs and a large teak table seating
Watch sea turtles, the sunset, and Banyan surfers directly from your own Hawaiian paradise, and possibly even dolphins, porpoises, and whales. Open the floor-to-ceiling sliding windows and let the ocean sounds, sights, and breezes flow through. Go into Kailua Kona or on various adventures, then come back to the best place to watch the sunset on the island.

Air conditioning in the main dining room area, fans in every room, pull-down shade by the lanai table.

There is a washer-dryer in unit, and the tv includes cable and is connected to the internet. Access to elevators, swimming pool and hot tub, outdoor showers, and oceanfront gas grill. Includes covered parking spot for 1 car.

Oh where to start...Chad is one of the best, no, the best host we have come across, hands down. The communication from booking through check out was amazing. The condo is equipped with everything you could want or need and is in a great location, you are a quick drive to farmers markets, coffee, you name it. Highly recommend booking this gem if you can.

Relaxing Four Days

We had a very relaxing stay! The condo is well stocked with everything you need. Had a keurig coffee maker which I loved using every morning! All the appliances were newer and worked well. Lots of items for going to the beach are provided, like chairs, coolers, boogie boards and noodles! The only drawback, which is not the fault of the owners, is the palm trees do block the view from the lanai. But we grabbed beers and chairs every evening and went down and watched the surfers and the sunset, which we thoroughly enjoyed!! The neighborhood is super quiet too! Would stay here again!

Proximity to ocean

The highlight of this place is the proximity to the ocean. You are so close. I loved loved loved sleeping with the patio doors open and listening to the ocean all night long. The lania was fabulous. We used the large dining table multiple times a day and the chaise loungers were a great place to read a book! We appreciated all the beach stuff at the rental like chairs, umbrella and boogie board. I would love to go back.

Love the location

Needs some updating, linens, deck furniture, inside furniture old and worn. The condo could have been cleaner but well stocked up in kitchen. Some spices, oils etc would love a good boogie board. Lots of beach extras. Nice pool sand beach area. Turtles galore!

Great Stay

Beautiful condo! Well stocked kitchen! Comfortable beds and amazing views!!! The beach isn’t swimmable but fine for wading in the water and we even saw a sea turtle! Also a great spot to watch the surfers!!!

The Kona Bali Kai is right on the ocean in Kona and has one of the most popular surf breaks. You can literally watch the local surfers ride on the waves from the lanai of our condo. We love coming over to Kona from Hilo side, especially during the raining season and always feel like we never want to leave. We love watching the sunset , sea turtles and surfers! The Poke Shack is also right on property which is definitely our favorite place to get a fresh poke bowl. Kona offers so much and this condo is just minutes from restaurants, shopping and more. There is a trolly stop across the street as well as bikes for rent. This location is prime for an oceanfront Kona stay!
