The Space:

The Shorehaven OCMD is under new ownership and is pleased to share our updated units with you and your family. We took design inspiration from boho, midcentury, and elevated beach chic styles in order to provide you with a comfortable and stylish experience. Get ready for fun in the sun, beach adventures, and as our name suggests, a peaceful escape from where you can enjoy rest and relaxation. This unit is one of eight vacation rental units in a multi-unit complex. We hope you will choose to stay with us.



Apartment Details:

-Located on 2nd floor, 1 flight of stairs to reach unit.

-Fully furnished, AC, Cable, Wifi included.

-Fully equipped kitchen

-Dining area seats 6-7.

-Private balcony with seating area

-Bedroom 1: 1 queen bed

-Bedroom 2: 1 double bed, 1 twin bed

-One 4-piece bathroom (tub, shower, sink, toilet).

-Living room with TV, massage chair, and futon couch. Couch folds down into bed that can hold 2 guests.

-1 parking space on site

-Beach and boardwalk a 3 minute walk away

-In addition to hosts/co-hosts, will have on-site staff to assist with check-in, check-out, and to help with any concerns or questions during your stay.

-NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED.

-Presence of functional security cameras may view the front door or entry areas, outdoor staircases, and outdoor communal areas



Guest Access:

Entire unit and front porch are private and not shared with other guests. Communal fenced outdoor leisure area and parking lot area are shared with other guests in the complex.



The Neighborhood:

Only a 3 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk, and walking distance to downtown OC, restaurants, and many activities that OC has to offer!



Getting Around:

Public parking is $3/hour, with lots and spaces on every street. Free parking is available in the city as well, with spaces available on the side streets, and availability closer to bayside. The Boardwalk Tram, Coastal Highway Beach Bus, and Park & Ride are public transportation options if you prefer not to drive around the city.



Interaction with Guests:

We will be able to get in touch with you at any point during your stay. You will also be in contact with local staff for check-in, check-out, and any pertinent questions or concerns that would be easier to help with onsite.

Great location with all the basics!

Location was perfect for being close enough to the action but yet far enough to enjoy some quiet. The two bedroom condo was tidy, and had all of the basic necessities. All communication was timely and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

Last minute Labor Day wknd getaway to OC as an early bday celebration for my younger son - had a great weekend at the Shorehaven (# 5). 1) Excellent location: just a couple of blocks from the 14th St entrance to the beach & boardwalk - 3 minute walk at most. Dedicated parking spot for our unit so we parked there & walked everywhere the whole weekend. Easy to grab towels & sunblock from the car on our way out & walk to the beach. There was some regular street noise, but not all the action of being right on the boardwalk & is safe, so it was great to be able to come back & chill out. Rides are only a mile down the boardwalk, so it's maybe 20 minutes of walking & people watching to get there. Close to restaurants (Surfin' Betty's is delicious - just a couple of blocks away & there's tons of places on the boardwalk - shoutout to Crepe Daddy, Brass Balls Saloon & Bai-Tee: staff so great at all 4). 2) Check in & Check out were seamless & all communication with Shorehaven staff was professional, courteous & made us feel well taken care of: it was a pleasure. 3) The unit had everything we needed for 5 of us: ample essentials & amenities, such as paper products, toiletries & bath towels (remember your own beach towels, though). The unit was clean & has an inviting modern minimalist decor with earthy accents - photos are accurate. 3 tvs & enough space to sleep 7 with the futon (8 if you count the massaging recliner chair: a very nice bonus when unwinding after a long day). 5/5 stars

Best location

Best location to have everything within walking distance. It was amazing being able to walk out the door, go down the block and instantly be at the beach and the boardwalk. Had my own parking spot, so I didn't pay for parking and didn't even need to use my car. The place was so nice and well put together, very modern. Loved that I brought food so that I was able to utilize the kitchen and accessories so I could save some money in that aspect. Every room has a TV which was nice. The air kept the rooms nice and cool too. Loved that i was able to be in communication easily with anyone if i needed anything and they made sure I settled in well. Overall I'd highly recommend and I'd definitely refer them to anyone I know coming out to OC to stay!

Great vacation home

We rented this great property during labor weekend. The apartment was very clean with a contemporary design in a great quite neighborhood yet easy access to the beach and the boardwalk. We loved it and we would definitely go back again on our next getaway!

Shorehaven Stay

Nice Location, Very Clean, Close to the beach and boardwalk. Park your car and never touch it for the stay - everything was close by.

More then amazing

We booked a last minute trip to take the kids somewhere for vacation. Upon arrival we were more then amazed. Finding the location was easy and we arrived when it was dark. It was a plus to have our own parking space. It has its own entrance to both the front and back door that only you have access to. My boyfriend absolutely loved that. The front entrance had a patio where he sat and did work from, he even took a power nap when hiding from the kids lol. The kitchen was stocked with plates, pots, pan and utensils which was a plus but we didn’t use because they always wanted to eat out. The only thing you will need seasonings of your choice. The kids slept in a room together and watched tv till their eyes closed. They had various platforms that you just needed to login to or you could watch live on the roku. We were literally two blocks from the beach which the kids loved because we went to the beach every single day and walked the boardwalk. All you need is a wagon to hold all of your beach supplies. We found that you could barely hear any of the outside noise which was great after you had a day running behind kids. Just beware there is a lot of white including the futon that is out in the main area. I personally feel like my kids are messy even though they are 10 so I made them sit on a blanket before they sat on the couch. Also no matter how much I swept I always seemed to find sand so bring house slippers/socks. I am definitely going to book again. We are already planning for next year!!!

Clean, modern and so comfortable

We absolutely loved our stay !! The check In was super easy. We even were met with help to carry our items from Avi. He gave us a tour and even food recommendations to eat. Our unit was so close to the beach. It was nice to grab our things and walk to the beach. The unit has everything you need. The beds were super comfy. Everything was so clean. Thank you for the tote you left on the master bed. I highly recommend staying at any of the units. They are clean, updated, cozy and so close to the beach.

Quaint Apattment for a Family

This apartment is close to both the beach and board walk. The space is clean with crisp air conditioning. Bedding, towels, WiFi all included. The owner Avi was courteous, helpful, and responsive when needed. Parking was good. Stores all within the vicinity. Quite time is 11p-8am being respectful of others. This kept the site quiet. Thank you
