Detta är en mycket fin, ren, privata hem på en lugn återvändsgränd. Detta hem ligger precis vid sjön Freeman. Det finns en möblerad, täckt båthuset däck direkt över vattnet. Båthus är icke-fungerande. Vattnet är 16 fot djup och har en brygga som är bra för solbad och fiske. Ingen dykning. Bakgården är inhägnad så att du kan innehålla ditt husdjur eller barn. Det finns inga staket runt båthuset. Sandy badstränder finns inom kort avstånd med bil eller båt. Båten kan startas om en mil bort eller så kan du hyra en båt eller jet ski på närliggande sjön Schafer. Indiana Beach Amusement och Water Park är bara två miles away. Du kan gå-vagn eller spela minigolf med 2 miles. Det är en underbar, gammal drive-in teater ligger inom 2 miles. Du kan vandra längs den vackra Wabash floden och besöka slagfält Museum, State Park, Wolf Park och ridning alla inom en 20 minuters bilresa. Det finns flera golfbanor inom några miles.

Madame Carroll: Madame Carroll är en stor båt som rymmer 400 personer. Det rider enbart runt sjön Freeman på helgerna. Det finns ett annat band varje helg. Kostnaden är $ 12. 00. Du kan bo på båten för 2 eller 4 timmar för samma pris. De erbjuder också middagskryssningar.

Det finns 3 golfbanor finns inom 5 miles från stugan. 1. Tippe Country Club, 2. Pine View Golf Course och 3. Ihåliga Acres på US 421 S.

Lake house

This was the perfect get away home! Quiet and relaxing and the view of the lake phenomenal! We loved the vintage decor and enjoyed looking everything. Bob and Maureen are gracious hosts and very responsive to our needs.

Great Stay on the Lake

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful with two lovely outdoor areas overlooking the water. The house was well appointed. I would definitely return to make more memories.

Perfect Getaway!

Weekend Getaway

Girls Getaway Weekend Trip

3 of us ladies needed a getaway for the weekend to just enjoy ourselves and that we did. We checked in unloaded went to the grocery store cooked dinner had a cocktail or 2 . Saturday we visited Indiana Beach and had dinner at Riverside which I highly recommend. Sunday we visited local wineries and went hiking in Delphi. Monday we went to antique shops thrift shops and country stores. All in all it was more then we ever hoped for.

Great trip! Three generations fish!

We loved our stay! From grandpa (78) to grandson (11), everyone had fun!! Great Lake access and outside shower/toilet. Inside the cabin is so cute with lots of fun things to admire!

A wonderful time!

The cottage is so peaceful and lovely. My family had a wonderful weekend of relaxation, fishing and local fun. Communication from Bob was stellar. The place is a gem in the twin lakes area. We highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing and Cozy Cottage

This property looked exactly as it appeared on the listing. It was perfect, right on the lake and had everything we could possibly need or want. We really liked the place and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and destress.

So peaceful!!

When they say it is “quiet” they are not exaggerating! Amazingly peaceful!! Clean and wonderfully decorated cottage! So much character!! When we were not fishing off the dock, we were looking at all of the memorabilia around the cottage. I actually say the first night and read a book from their collection. We brought our food, fishing poles and smiles (like Bob said) and he wasn’t wrong! Great place to unplug, relax and just enjoy the quiet and beautiful view of the lake!! Bob and Maureen were amazing to us! Up front and honest and if we needed anything (which we didn’t), they were a phone call or text message away. Thank you for letting us enjoy your cottage!

Perfection

After months of staying home due to the pandemic, we were more than eager to venture out for a change of scenery for our birthdays. We were looking for a place to enjoy the water and the outdoors. After a very warm summer, the week we arrived the weather turned cold forcing us indoors. The wonderful surprise was that the cabin was perfect for an indoor retreat too. There were so many books, games, and other activities to keep us quite entertained. The picture window provided a great place to feel like we were right on the water while we were drinking our coffee or quietly reading. The kitchen was well stocked and we wanted for nothing. It was pure perfection!!

Excellent Experience

Our stay here in early October was far more then we expected. We needed a place to stay with our dog while helping family in the area but we ended up loving everything about the place. The property was perfect for our needs and provided us with a safe place for our dog and a beautiful setting with breathtaking views for us. The house itself was clean, well stocked and full of beautiful interesting decor. We will definitely be back!!

Adorable cottage

It was most relaxing couple of days. Wish it was longer! It's beautiful inside and outside. Large, fully stocked kitchen, unique furnishing, books and traditional American art collection. But most of all little terrace on top of boat house. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you Bob and Maureen!

Filthy dirty home!

Bob's business practices are deceptive and the overview of this property is not what it appears. The home was not clean, cobwebs everywhere, it has awful smelling well water, no TV or internet access, dirty dishes were in the kitchen cabinets, feral cats all over the place having babies on the front porch, you have to pay for beach access. We were even accused of stealing the old ratty towels provided! I DO NOT recommend staying here.

Great house! Great location! Great vacation!

This house has amazing views of Lake Freeman, it's close to local shopping & restaurants, and it's about a 10 minute drive to the amusement park. Being on a dead end road is also a plus, especially with kids & dogs. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. It's spacious and clean, and the kids loved the bunk beds. My only suggestion would be to add a fire pit, if there's a safe place to put it. Overall a great family vacation!

Relaxing and fun!

Bob & Maureen were terrific communicators and made our planning easy. Fun & interesting cottage right on the water. Large kitchen w/ new appliances, big table for dining and game playing. Cozy living room and reading space. Comfy beds and plenty of blankets for our winter stay. Place just has a lot of character! My friends and I would definitely book again!
