This recently remodeled, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a brand new King bed and a Queen sleeper sofa. It features beautiful views of Keystone Lake and the surrounding mountains. Ideally located in Lakeside Village, you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants, and outdoor activities. The walking path is just outside your private patio and will take you to a variety of amenities on the lake. The East Lake clubhouse, just a short walk from your back door, is included in your stay. It offers an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, bathrooms and an outdoor barbecue area.

The living area features updated hardwood flooring, new furnishings, a flat screen TV above the gas fireplace, and windows offering beautiful mountain and lake views. The couch features a Queen pull out for additional sleeping arrangements. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private patio is just off the living area and provides guests walk-out access to Keystone Lake. Hang outside on the outdoor furniture and enjoy the fresh mountain air!

The remodeled, full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. It features granite countertops and new stone back splash. The dining area, looking out over the lake, comfortably seats four, it features a wooden table, and has a modern light fixture above. There is additional seating for two at the breakfast bar.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed with a brand new mattress in June 2023, Ultra-Premium Linens, and a flat screen TV. There is ample space for storing personal items in the closet and dresser found in the master. The bedroom also has its own entrance to the guest bathroom. The full bathroom features granite counter tops and shower/tub combination, and a water room for added privacy. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

Enjoy extra soft oversized towels and high quality bed linens that have a subtle satin stripe pattern for a look of elegance. Cute property with amazing lake views

Cute apartment with keystone lake right outside the back door, walk down about 30 feet to a pizza pub. everyone in the neighbor was so friendly, our room key wasn’t working cause the battery on the door died staff had maintenance there in ten minutes to get us back in. Besides the minor hiccup of getting locked out it was a great property. I will definetly book again

Really great place. At check in, our keys did not work but someone did come within 10ish minutes to bring keys that did. Lovely view, comfortable, would and will stay here again.

I walked into a beautifully decorated condo with an incredible view of the lake and mountains. The condo was warm and cozy. Everything was new and clean. I was able to walk out the back door and take a peaceful walk around the lake, grab pizza, or do some shopping. My experience was wonderful.

Cozy and Clean Condo with an Incredible View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I loved staying in Lakeshore 1553 it was very clean and the furniture was new and in great condition. The view was unbeatable. It was also just a one minute walk to the conference center. It also had everything I needed. Especially loved the fireplace!

Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great. Checkin process was super easy. Bed in master is not very comfortable. Wish there was a manual to explain fireplace (it randomly turned off and on). Very happy with the amount of kitchen supplies. Would stay again but bring something to improve the mattress.

Where to start on this one. My husband and I are monthly travelers so we have had our fair share of experiences with rental companies. Prior to booking this unit, I was concerned with what I saw in most recent reviews so I decided to make a few phone calls to verify things have been fixed, etc. We always want to give people the benefit of the doubt so I figured with the communication we had prior to arrival- everything for our stay should be just fine. Unfortunately, that was not the case upon our arrival. The master bedroom reeked of cigarette smoke, the bed& bed frame was broken along side of the shades in the bedroom and in the living room. We didn’t pay to rent a place to sleep on the couch the entire stay. We made phone calls and text messages to “management” giving them multiple times to come and fix the issues but there was no follow through. It became very clear that they really didn’t care about the issues. They are extremely unprofessional and lack standard customer support. Basic issues are just blown off. It was a nightmare. Beware of staying here.

Seemed cozy but quite uncomfortable

The condo appeared cozy at first sight. Upon entering we noticed the floors were a bit dirty and the bathroom had hairs in the tub and toilet but we decided to overlook that as everything else appeared great. Later as we were trying to watch tv we struggled to turn on the tv in both the living room and the room. Only to find out the batteries were both dead so we had to improvise to get some batteries. Still, we worked to overcome that minor inconvenience. Once we went to bed, we couldn’t deny the lack of comfort anymore. The bed was excruciatingly uncomfortable. The mattress was as hard as rock and it was sunken in. I wondered if we were sleeping on a spring box but I then confirmed that it was in fact a mattress. The next morning we woke up with back and neck pain and we were so tired as we struggled to get any sleep due to the cement like attempt of a mattress. The following day, we decided to try and maybe sleep in the living room on the sofa bed. Honestly, once we pulled out the bed, the mattress from the sofa bed was full of crumbs and hair and I was not willing to have to clean it or go grab new bedding for it especially since the mattress there was equally as uncomfortable as the bedroom mattress. We then opted to simply sleep on the couch cushions. The blinds in the living room only go halfway down the window so the light streaming in was annoying. We ended up leaving that night after only our second night despite paying for 3 nights.

Amazing views, right on frozen lake...but the bed BROKE

I'll say the good stuff first. So this condo is literally right on the lake. We loved that. It was great. You can walk out the back door and the lake is like right there. If you are an ice skating family, as we are, this condo is AMAZING for the skating experience. We walked out the back door and right onto the ice. We had day passes for the skating, so we took breaks, went back to the condo, then out the back door and right onto the ice. THAT part made this condo worth it, despite the bed issues. So yeah....the bed, AKA the block of cement. It BROKE while we were there. And the headboard ate our pillows every night. We would go to bed with pillows only to find them later missing and on the floor down by the headboard. The bed is suppose to have a box spring there to close up the gap to prevent the headboard from swallowing the pillows. Seriously, if the owner can afford fancy bathroom fixtures and granite....I would think they could afford a better mattress and bed. We had kids with us on the sofa bed, so we had to suffer on that cement block every night. Well, on our last day there as we were waking up, my husband rolled over and CRASH BAM SMACK! The bed broke. The wood slats just gave out. The bed caved in. I'm convinced it broke because of the sink hole forming below the condo from its foundation issues. When the bed broke, I thought we were gone. Walk on the hallway floor & you will notice the big DIP. Any day now, that floor is gonna give. So I called management. The girl on the phone was clueless on what to do. She said she would send over a new mattress. I guess she missed the part that the bed BROKE. Then I asked her if we could also have a pillow topper to put on top of the mattress after maintenance fixed the bed, since I had read in a previous review that management provided another guest with a pillow topper. The girl on the phone said NO, that they could not provide one. I of course complained and mentioned that one was provided to a previous guest, so why could I not have one also considering that not only was the mattress really a block of cement disguised as a mattress AND the wood slats holding the bed together broke. So, a couple hrs later a nice man showed up with a gross, yellow pee stained QUEEN size mattress. Insert hand over forehead emoji here. So another phone call to mgmnt. And the guy on the phone this time was RUDE. In the end, they did fix the bed. It has new wood slats. But the cement block mattress is still there.

Disappointed/Broken Blinds hindering view - Dishonest Host

We booked this property because of the location/view of the mountains/lake. The property was clean with a few amenities (shampoo, dish soap, some coffee - no cream, and some old unusable things). Our big disappointment came when we opened the blinds to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, the top section of the blinds was broken and wouldn't stay up - therefore cutting off 1/2 of the view. I contacted the host right away. He/She thanked us for letting them know and asked if we wanted someone to fix them. We responded "yes", only to be told they would schedule it for after our stay, as they didn't want to disrupt us. Well, again, the reason we picked this particular property was because of the location/view. So, we propped the blinds up and hoped they wouldn't fall in the middle of the night, as the kids were sleeping on the sofa bed. That evening, I looked at reviews of the property and found one dated September 2024 that stated that the blinds were broken!!! This told me the blinds had been broken for at least 9 months - and the owner really had NO intention of getting them fixed. I contacted host again, they apologized and said they've had emergencies and just haven't been able to get them fixed. So, they admitted they knew about the blinds but then kept charging higher amounts even when guests wouldn't receive the view they were paying for. This is a very bad and dishonest way to do business. Don't book - blinds are broken and you won't have the view you've paid for

Nice views/good value

Good deal on the property and a beautiful lake view that you see and can walk to right outside of your back porch.I was there during a slow season. So not much open, but there is a hotel right there too and a great coffee shop and helpful friendly staff. There are a lot of summer and winter activities on the lake there. Not open when I was there, but they were setting up for water sports like kayaking and canoeing I believe and in the winter it is used for ice skating. Very pretty views and free shuttle you can catch that takes you only around Keystone if you desire.

Easy and Convenient Location

The property was easy to access and was very central to our plans for snowboarding a couple of days at Arapahoe Basin and Cooper Mountain. What stood out most was response times from the management company. They were always quick to answer questions and very friendly . I would highly recommend staying with the. Again.

Great Place - Would Stay Again

Nice little one bedroom unit. Great views of lake/mountains. Location was very convenient to Keystone and A-Basin. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was quite small and I had some trouble controlling the temperature in the unit (too warm mostly). The property manager was super responsive. We accidentally got locked out and they had us in using an emergency key within 5 minutes. They responded to several texts from me always within a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place for up to 2 people and we would stay there again.

Nice condo in a great location

We stayed here for Christmas with my family of 4. It really was located in a perfect spot right next to the ice skating area and walking distance to coffee, pizza, and a little store. The king size bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable.However the pull out bed seemed to be on its last leg. There were times where it would get caught on a spring and hard to put away and seemed like it would break in the near future.Another thing that I found was really strange was that it seemed like there was sand on the floor and you could hear it under the flooring when you walked thru the condo. This didn’t ruin anything for us by any means but we did find it odd. The condo itself was really nice but the pool and hot tub area could use some improvement. By the end of our trip the hot tub was not working and there were 2 days where towels were completely empty at the pool. The sauna was out of order the whole 7 days we were there as well.

VACATION RENTALS VS. HOTELS
Booking a vacation rental is like staying at the house of a friend. In this vacation rental you will experience significantly more space, privacy, or comforts that feel like home, including a kitchen and a location that is beyond what most hotels can offer. All this at a significantly lower cost than a hotel with comparable features. These benefits bring different considerations than a hotel. More privacy means that most guests do not want daily housekeeping. We offer a check-out clean and, for an added fee, mid-stay cleans.
